Then again he could be just a rotten one-term president who along with fellow democrats after bankrupting the American economy and doubling unemployment got thrown on on their bums.
That’s a more likely scenario.
Obama told Dianne Sawyer he’d rather be a “really good” one-term president than a mediocre two-term president, via Dittos Rush:
He better get his ACORN army in tip-top shape if he wants his stay in the White House to last more than four years.
UPDATE: Charles Krauthammer offered a third option.

Of course he wants to be one-term President. After all four years at the same job would be a record for him. Of course taking into account that he spends half of the time golfing and traveling overseas, which based on the absence of positive results for the country can be consider vacation too, his for term is cut in half. On the second thought, his vacationing abroad harms this country and our allies as much as his staying put, so lets only count golf.

I could not help but think that O’s comment was another veiled swipe at his predecesor.
I also wonder what he thinks qualifies as a really good one term president, considering that by his own criteria he is willing to give himself a solid B + for what most other observes would easily give him at best an incomplete.

Let’s remember, Obama’s idea of a really good one-term President is totally different than a conservative’s idea of a really good one-termer. Obama is hell-bent on destroying America’s economy and military in its many forms, so in his mind, he is doing a really good job thus far……B+ in fact. The American people are looking at Obama and waking up to the fact that Obama is too far left of the center and is taking America from its greatness to the pits of hell in a very short time period.
