After tripling the US national deficit in his first year in office Barack Obama was confronted today by Republican representatives at the GOP retreat in Baltimore.
Obama came across stubborn and angry.

    How come I have not seen anything about Obama at the GOP Retreat on O’Reilly or Hannity tonight? Maybe Obama was so over the top that to comment on this would make him look unstable.

    I watched the whole video on CSPAN…

    …basically Obama stood at the podium and told even more lies than the State-of-the-Union address…and the GOP let him get by with it.

    At one point Obama claimed was not some radical that was trying to take over the healthcare system and bankrupt America.

    I would tell Obama that if that is true, then why was he going along with Pelosi and Reid on trying to ram through One-Hundred-and-Eleven new Federal Government beaurocracies onto the American people?

    Obama tried to claim that he is in reality more of a moderate, and that it is Pelosi that is the radical one.

    I would say to Obama: then why did you, Rahm Emanuel, and President Clinton, jet over to the Capitol building before all of the big votes to do last minute strong-arming???…

    …because you were chomping at the bit ready ram this 2000 plus page bill down the American people’s throat.

    At another point Obama admitted that he had boned up before the meeting by speaking to one of his financial advisors. This was obvious by the confidence-of-hot-air that he proclaimed over and over about how he has read all of the specific Republican ideas, but these ideas just did not pass the test of actually being able to solve real problems…

    …oh really??? I would have asked the President if he had a Harvard education. (Yes) I would have then asked Obama if he has ever started or ran a business? (NO)…

    …so in other words…shooting down common sense, across the board tax cutting ideas, proposed by the Republicans, makes sense for Obama, as long as his “team of economic experts” tell him so…but he has never ran a business in his life, and has never had to administer a State budget, let alone a National one.

    Progressives are having tingles all over themselves after watching what they believe was a display of Obama “schooling” the GOP on their failed alternatives.

    I hope the GOP leadership could read-right-through Obama’s lies, and false sense of working with the opposition, like the rest of us could see.

    This was not a President showing a willingness to admit his administration’s radical agenda, or a President reaching out a hand.

    This was a President that is being FORCED into appearing to work with the Republicans, because the U.S. Senate no longer has a Super Majority thanks to Scott Brown. The President, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the Progressives no longer have the numbers game won, and they know it.

    I’m not buying it, and I know the American people are going to buy anymore of the crap that these Democrats have been trying to shove down the throat of the American people for the last year. November cannot come quick enough.
