"Moderate" New York Muslim Leader Who Lopped Off Wife's Head Claims He Was the Real Victim (Video)

Muzzammil Hassan was a community leader and a so called “moderate” Muslim. He was the founder and Chief Executive of Bridges TV a show started to help combat the negative perceptions of Islam and also to build bridges to the non-Muslim world.
Then last year Muzzammil beheaded his wife.
Guess he wasn’t so moderate, huh?

Now Mussammil claims he was the victim of spousal abuse. He was even embarrassed in public. It was so bad that after she filed for divorce he lopped her head off.

The cable TV executive accused of beheading his wife in Orchard Park last year now claims he was the one humiliated and abused.
Through his new lawyer, Muzzammil S. “Mo” Hassan claimed Friday that he was a “battered spouse” who was left emotionally out of control by the constant abuse his wife inflicted on him.
Hassan’s lawyer, Frank M. Bogulski, called the legal defense the first of its kind in the country.
“The spouse was the dominant figure in this relationship,” Bogulski told a reporter afterward. “He was the victim. She was verbally abusive. She had humiliated him.”
The allegations prompted an immediate rebuke from the prosecution.
“He chopped her head off,” District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III said of Hassan. “He chopped her head off. That’s all I have to say about Mr. Hassan’s apparent defense that he was a battered spouse.”
Hassan, 45, is charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 12 beheading of his wife, Aasiya Zubair Hassan, 37. The Pakistani-born couple were best known for Bridges TV, the station they formed in 2004 to counter negative Muslim stereotypes.

But, it’s happening….and not just in isolated areas either. This is but the first of many sharia related incidents we’ll hear about in America and I doubt strongly whether we’ll ever reach the point where THIS is acceptable behavior.
A jury of his “peers” would exonerate him in a heartbeat. A jury in Texas wouldn’t leave the jury box to deliberate!!

A woman humiliated him; one can only imagine how he felt, being that men are superior to women in Islam. His humiliation justified him cutting her head off amidst her screams of terror and wailing about.
Just think, that probably sounds quite reasonable to Muslim men. And it begs the question, why didn’t he just text her and tell her they were divorced. Why all the blood and guts?

The older I get the more I realize most stereotypes are true. Islam truly is an evil, backwards and barabric religion. Muhammad himself, the Jesus of islam (the central role model of the entire religion), personally beheaded over 600 unarmed Jews with a sword. He then raped their wives and enslaved their children. You either convert to islam in which your life is spared, you can also pay a hefty tax called a “jizya” to your muslim overlords and live subservantently as a “dhimmi” (basically a slave), or you’ll be beheaded or killed in some other fashion (like suicide bombings). Look it all up if you don’t believe me folks. I used to think critics of islam were racist rednecks but then I researched it for myself. Only to find that islam was even more evil and disgusting than I ever imagined. It truly is an awful religion which needs to thrown onto the scrap heaps of history in order for humanity to move forward.

In the past NOW hasn’t had any trouble finding its voice. What’s different about this case? Pathetically, NOW asked the “media” to do its job in reporting, like that’s ever gonna happen. Let’s see now, to behead someone that means you have to obtain the instrument (knife, axe, whatever). You have to have it handy/nearby. You have to pick it up. Aim carefully, and swing with all your might.

Nothing I didn’t expect. To be real I have been expecting them to say they didn’t know it was wrong because in Islamic countries you can kill your wife, your kids for pretty much anything. Guy going on trial in Cleveland OH for cyanide poisoning of his wife. He ran to Cyprus, took four years to extradite him. She was driving when the cyanide, he told her it was a calcium pill, took effect. She crashed headlong into another vehicle in Feb 2005. He’s a doctor.
I have never known a Muslim woman who hasn’t had a black eye or other injuries.

Did he kill her in a moment of passion and just happen to have the means to behead her at hand? Did he perhaps not mean to cause her death by the beheading? What??
