It won’t be the first time but Martha Coakley smeared Scott Brown tonight outside of her big Washington DC lobbyist fundraiser.
Griff Jenkins from FOX News interviewed Coakley outside of her big DC lobbyist fundraiser:
Martha Coakley is a smear merchant.
She already tried to tie Republican Scott Brown to Rush Limbaugh even though the two have never met.
Now tonight Martha Coakley tried to tie Scott Brown to “extreme right groups” who she says are pouring money into Massachusetts. She says this despite the fact that Brown raised over $1.3 million, mostly in small donations, in an online money bomb yesterday. And, she had the gall to say this outside of her Washington DC lobbyist fundraiser where 22 big-time lobbyists from drug, health care and insurance companies met tonight to help bail her campaign out.

As if Martha Coakley’s support from the corrupt establishment wasn’t already clear enough, now comes word that a coalition of sleazebag industry lobbyists have teamed up with Bay State Democrats for an eleventh-hour bailout of her faltering campaign.
Many of those involved in this hastily-organized rescue attempt have no Bay State ties, their only allegiance is to piggish K Street – Beltway lobbying firms.
At the Washington Examiner, Timothy Carney has the scoop:
With Democrat Martha Coakley in trouble in the Massachusetts special election to fill Ted Kennedy’s seat, Democrats could lose vote No. 60 for President Obama’s health-care bill. In response, an army of lobbyists for drug companies, health insurance companies, and hospitals has teamed up to throw a high-dollar Capitol Hill fundraiser for Coakley next Tuesday night.
Of the 22 names on the host committee–meaning they raised $10,000 or more for Coakley–17 are federally registered lobbyists, 15 of whom have health-care clients. Of the other five hosts, one is married to a lobbyist, one was a lobbyist in Pennsylvania, another is a lawyer at a lobbying firm, and another is a corporate CEO. Oh, and of course, there’s also the political action commitee for Boston Scientific Corporation.
All the leading drug companies have lobbyists on Coakley’s host committee: Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, Sanofi-Aventis, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca, and more. On the insurance side of things, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, HealthSouth, and United Health all are represented on the host committee.
Coakley is being funded thousands of dollars from DC health care lobbyists but wants the public to believe that Scott Brown is being funded by big corporate donations and tea party devils.
She has no shame.

The Massachusettes delegation to Washington doesn’t exactly have a reputation for be held to account by the voters and she would be no different.
Let’s hope that this time the voters in Mass. will wake up and finally send someone who isn’t a bloated gas bag to Washington.

I love it.. We never pay attention to polls..That should be the first thing people see she cant be trusted to tell the truth on a simple question. She went on vacation a few weeks back thinking she had it in the bag and now shes doing big donor fatcat fundraiser a week before the election after seeing the poll and debate results. Note for Brown point out in an ad who those she will take care of…The big lobbyists, insurance company’s drug companys and hedgefunds.. The american people are no longer represented in the government, it’s all special interests. Very corrupt, unfortunately the founding fathers didn’t see this coming or they would have made laws against it.

She made a statement that we don’t look at polls. Well it may help to start. Scott Brown is rising because voters who are self described Independents are running to support Scott Brown.
All she is doing is rallying her base. Now she attends a fundraiser chocked full of Health Care and Pharmaceutical lobbyists in Washington D.C. Is this woman suicidal, politically speaking of course?
She has this interview and hits on all the programs that the Liberal Democrats that are unpopular with a very large part of the country.
She uses You Tube but turns off commenting on her videos.
She shows up in a big black car (could have been a limo) for her debate while her opponent is walking down the street shaking hands with her “supporters” (she paid union workers $50 to hold up support signs) first before he shake his supporters hands.
Basically we see a contrast of how political campaigns used to be run and how they are ran today. While both are using the new media here is where they differ:
Old Fashion Campaign:
Scott Brown is going out and meeting the people in the community. He is sending the message that he will represent his constituents in Massachusetts first and America second.
Modern Day Campaign:
Martha Coakly is relying on her base to vote for her and concentrating on fund raising so she can blitz the airwaves with campaign ads that will make her opponent look bad to get the undecideds.
I believe America has enough of the Modern Day Campaign and is longing for the Old Fashion Campaign.

I personally donated to Brown’s campaign. Calling me, and the thousands of individuals like me who donated to Brown with their own personal funds, an “extreme right wing organization” is not only a smear, it’s a ridiculous delusion.
Clearly, Dems are in full panic mode because the great ship Obamacare has hit an iceberg, and they’re desperate to get Coakley into a lifeboat before the whole stinking mess goes under.

Former life long massachusetts democrat here (nearly 30 voting years). changed that to undeclared this year. I am voting for Scott Brown and I (gasp) donated to his campaign. Martha, Martha, Martha, we are voting for Scott because we don’t want another person in office who believes the seat is theirs, instead of the seat that they are sent to hold on behalf of the citizens of Masssachusetts! The Boston Globe is in an interesting position. Their recommendation probably needs to come out this Sunday. They know how corrupt and inept Coakley is. They know how many customers will drop their subscriptions if they come out for Coakley. But the paper is full of Democrats – they want to push Coakley out of party loyalty. Their owner, the left-wing NY Times, is probably pushing the editors to recommend Coakley. What to do.

I wish I lived there to be able to vote for Scott Brown. If you live there, don’t listen to all the lies you will hear in election season. Go read up on Scott Brown yourself, and be glad that Scott, and his family have dedicated themselves to giving the people of Massachusetts a real choice.
