Some things never change…
Obama attends church. Pastor bashes Bush.

It took Barack Obama months to find himself a church but he felt right at home today at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church.
Barack and Michelle Obama thanked the pastor for his warm welcome today at church in Washington DC after he bashed Bush and the GOP from the pulpit.
Halleluiah.

It wasn’t quite a Rev. Jeremiah “G-D AmeriKKKa” Wright speech, but it must have felt good to hear a good ol’ Bush-bashing sermon anyway.

Of course, during his own sermon Barack Obama blamed Bush for the national deficit that he tripled in 2009.

  1. Just what is it with these people!? Yesterday BO stood with Bush, today he welcomes such comments. A Pox on there houses.

  2. Ment “their”. Not enough coffe yet I guess.

  3. When he’s desperate he becomes a believer in Jesus. What a hypocrite! We gotta do all we can to help Scott Brown with every hour left.

  4. ADVERTISEMENT

  5. Shucks, and I was hoping he’d be able to witness genuine Christian fellowship.

  6. Can he get his nose any higher in the air?
One thing you can say about him. Humble, he ain’t.

  7. Just like O.J. suddenly remembering he was black. Throw the race card so anybody not for me is racist.

  8. Wait till that pastor and the lemmings applauding see the bill they will be paying for having Obama “fix everything”…and I hope they lose their tax-exempt status for politicking from the pulpit.

  9. ++

    Desperation
    Denial
    Delusional
    Despotism

btw, did i see Obama slip a quick middle finger to the pastor (or at what
he said about the NOI’s Messiah) between the :51 & :54 mark.. or am i just being overly observant?? :D

    ==

  10. Opaobie @ #8…

That “pastor” and his lemmings won’t be paying for anything. It’s you and I that will pay for most of it.

And sooner or later, Obama is gonna have to man up, stop lying and come to grips with the fact that he has put us so far into debt we will never climb out.

  11. Not a single white face in the shot, I observed. I wonder why that was.
If we give Obama 100 years to “fix” things, I believe some people would still complain it was Bush’s fault.

Obama looked bored. I think it is aggregious that the congregation focused on Obama instead of Christ in His house of worship.

  12. bg YEP The “”Finger”" Saw it a 55 in…

  13. I swear I just heard what Harry Reid was talking about.

  14. ++

no doubt “i am a Chrsitian” announcement
in preparation for his Boston visit today..

totally bass ackwards, but that’s a tactic that apparently works for him @ a local level, just not when it comes to things like the Olympics or Climate Change.. and it won’t work in MA.. Obama knows Chicago, and Chicago is no Boston, ergo, he’s going to get beaned..

    ==

  15. So let’s see. BO goes to church after a natural disaster. Makes good tv, for him, I guess. What a disgrace this man is to the office of President. And to think one day after Bush met with him and agreed to work on Haiti relief. Obama has no class. But of course we already knew that.

  16. Thats a perfect church for Unicornboy, full of suckers.

  17. He looked damned uncomfortable there, too…at least until they started singing his praises.

  18. Don’t know about you guys but I have not gone to a church that discusses politics and would not stay if they did so. Whats up with that?

  19. Soooo annoying how dems can show up at a church, stand at the pulpit and talk politics….

  20. Racist….no white people….except his handlers…

  21. Soon Bush will be blamed for all the bad things in the bible and the new testament: the flood of Noah, the trials of Job, Bush probably made Eve eat the apple etc.

  22. So have they found a way to blame Bush and the GOP for the debacle in Haiti?
After the earthquake on Tuesday, we distributed our first 130,000 meals yesterday to the 2 million Hatitans thought to be in immediate need.
Of the 3,600 soldiers waiting to deploy to Haiti in Ft Bragg, only about 270 have been sent so far.
If this was Bush, the democrats and media would have crucified him.

  23. And Obama had the gall to invite GWB to join the choir asking help for Haiti. So today he participates in an unapologetic Bush-bash.

That’s not the guy I want running my country.

  24. I don’t know how Americans are suppose to have patience for a man who has tripled the deficit, when he was suppose to reduce it. Only stupid people think that spending more means less of a deficit.

  25. this guy is insufferable.

  26. So which one of the four horsemen is BO?

    Sneezy, Dopey, Mopey or Loopey?

  27. Well, OF COURSE, it had to be on youtube. A once in an administration visit to a church. Incredible. Awe inspiring. A blessed event.

Oh, give me a break. This ranks right up there with filming the “balloon boy” incident. Fraudulent through and through. Staged…and not very well done.

  28. church is supposed to be about God not about the marxist messiah Obama. and what does bashing bush and the gop have to do with giving glory and worship to God? it’s not a church, it’s a gathering place for a cult.

  29. So B+ Odumber is up to the old Clinton trick. When the poll number are down and you have your keister in crack you go to church! I wonder if B+ like Clinton flashed his Bible at reporters outside the Whitehouse as did BJ after earlier flashing something else at interns!
Thunceasing hypocrisy publically displayed by democorrupts is certainly great street theater but the shows don’t seem to be drawing the crowds and fainting coeds these days.

  30. “…when we see what you’re doing for ALL of us…”
I think that pastor used divisive rhetoric and implied racism.
He also began to use a different dialect at the end of the clip.

  31. I remember seeing pictures of Clinton leaving church, and reports that the Bushes went to church, but I do not remember ever seeing a president in church-and testifying! Seperation of church and state? Guess Obowma is just “special”.

  32. What was the name of that “church”?

  33. one of the ads that is being run for coakley is
tying Brown to Bush/Cheney. the good reverand is just doing his part.

  34. Did the minister say this on his own or was it suggested to him? Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Its a sad day when many Americans can’t believe a single thing their President says and does without wondering if they are being manipulated.

  35. 96% of blacks would support or vote for Satan as long as he is black. It saddens me to see this continue in our country. The fact they are uneducated and thus unable to think and logically equate what is going on around them makes it that much worse. Alas, most of the white community does not rank much better these days. Education should not be a bad word or the word used for “Give us more money”.

  36. Wow, another church preaching hate. This is why I cannot stand churches. Some of the most evil things I have heard in my lifetime where from preachers/ministers. I was in a Southern Baptist Church when I was a teen and they crucified JFK because he was a Catholic. My father fought against hatred in WWII, and he told that preacher NOBODY was going to teach his kids to hate.

  37. Bush did the right thing as a Christian and as a human. He put himself to the side and put the needs of the people of Haiti first.
The fact that they are still trashing him, states more about them, then any relection on him.
    He is a class act.

  38. “When we see what you are doing for ‘all of us’”

Once again proving that those who say they want a colorblind society are usually the most racist of them all.

  39. There’s that middle finger again, literally.

  40. And this is a 3 day weekend to honor Martin Luther King. You would think a church should show honor to him instead of “playing politics”. MLK said “a man should be judged not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character”.

IMHO, I grew up surrounded by role models of men who had fought Hitler, JFK, MLK, etc, many of the role models today, Clinton, Obama, etc are really pathetic and scary.

  41. That’s what passes for a church service nowadays?

  42. obama couldn’t carry President George W. Bush’s jock strap. If clinton was there, would he have asked obama to get him some coffee.

  43. They cleaned him up, gave him his affirmative-action Ivy-League degree, wrote him a pair of phoney autobiographies, put a multimillion-dollar publicity machine at his disposal, but they forgot to give the guy any class. Messiah? More like Jerk.

  44. ? what kind of pastor would sing the prasies of a man who is the most pro abortion pres we ever had what kind of pastor would bad mouth an ex president when that totaly goes against the teachings of CHRIST Jesus said we are to love our enemys not bad moth them to a congrgation also they [the libs] would be screaming its a racist chirch there are no blacks there in this case whites what a double standard

  45. Looked to me like Obama was sitting there like a fox in the hen house. Probably thinking to himself, “They love me, there ARE people out there that still love me.” Or maybe it was more like, “Damn, hurry it along will ya, I could still get a little golf in today.”

Yes dear Rev Wright, the chickens HAVE come home to roost. Anyone want to lay odds on the next time we’ll see Obama and family in church? I’m thinking Easter Sunday, not a moment before.

  46. Mr. Middle-Finger, I saw him flip the bird starting at 1:05. I would never sit in a church where the pastor brought up politics. Unless, it was to pray for them to do the right thing. Obama is a putz!!!! As well as a SOCIALIST poopy butt!!

  47. No, Scribbler – I doubt very seriously if the Obamas will darken the doorstep of another church at Easter, either. He didn’t do the National Day of Prayer – I don’t think the Resurrection means anything to him, either.

  48. They can’t help themselves.

  49. 1934 Winston College Edition Dictionary;

Compromise; – an arrangement or action caused by, or resulting from, concessions; a combination of two opposite systems or principles, involving sacrifice of a part of each. If you underline sacrifice this is exactly what this “man of God”, spoke! We should compromise nothing when our God gave us this land and blessed America! This “man of God’, is what the bible teaches as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Wow and they clapped, all compromised abortion. sad :(

  50. I wonder.. will Obama distance himself at Northeastern this pm from the despicable lie that Coaklyites perpetrated against Brown in ‘Rape Flyer’ they issued?..
MA women aren’t stupid . If BHO says nothing, they’ll have more proof that a vote for Coakley is all about Obama and has little to do with women’s issues …. we’ll see shortly. My BC girlfriends are listening and tell me if BHO fails to distance himself from that despicable flyer, their vote will go to Brown.

  51. Christmas not so important to our “Christian” potus, playing the political race card in church, priceless.

  52. Maybe he’ll go more often to get the ego-fix.

  53. I went to church this morning and as it happens the small congregation is all white.

Many blessings and prayers where given this morning for the people of Haiti and others who are suffering in the world.

During the announcements period – plans were made for our church group to get together to donate money, and first aid kits as we have missionaries in Haiti who are well established and know how to use the aide correctly and in the most beneficial ways.

The message today was LOVE & CARING for your fellow man that is in need and suffering. No politics, no bashing of anyone.

Our supposed “racist” society is a fabrication by those that want to use such hatred towards their own ends. I see them as no different than the KKK.

  54. My take on it:

That middle finger is a “good” middle finger. It forgives all past and future middle fingers, because everyone knows you couldn’t possibly interpret that as him giving the finger to this minister, or to anyone in the church.

He is, of course, not isn’t unaware that people caught on to the middle finger deal previously.

So now he does this – and for many seconds! – so he can say that the other finger givings didn’t mean a thing, and that the ones he gives in the future won’t mean anything, either.

Unless Satan ran as a Republican, that is.

For some reason, blacks cannot leave the plantation of the Slavery Party.

I remember seeing pictures of Clinton leaving church, and reports that the Bushes went to church, but I do not remember ever seeing a president in church-and testifying! Seperation of church and state? Guess Obowma is just “special”.

This is exactly what I thinking. I’m only 40 years old but cannot think of a time when I saw a sitting president address a church congregation from the pulpit at a normal Sunday morning church service. Just when I think Obamao can’t top himself, there he goes again. This is what Obamao chooses to do when he finally shows up at church on Sunday???

Then, the middle finger again! WTF is wrong with this despicable man?

  57. Our church this morning was all about having Christian compassion for the people of Haiti. All in accordance to Matt. 24:31-46. It isn’t about war, healthcare reform, cap and tax . . . it is about helping those who are in need. That is the bottomline. Christ said . . . “Follow me”. Following Him does not mean being stridently pro-abortion. It means serving those for whom He died, defeated death and resurrected to life!

If a pastor of a pre-dominately white church was that political, they would lose their charitable status . . . that is unless they were pro-abortion, etc. My church has people of every color and ethnic background. It stands for Christ and His resurrection, His Father who provides and protects, and the Holy Spirit who guides and comforts.

I cannot believe a church would allow this pro-abortion WH occupant stand in its pulpit. What a disgrace!

  58. When will African-Americans of dark and light skin tone admit to themselves (even in a Negro dialect, if they desire) that the Dims have kept them on the urban plantation for all these years? Do they NOT know that MLK was a Republican and voted for Nixon??? Do they know that George Wallace and Bull Conner, etc were Dims? Who signed the Emancipation Proclaimation? Was it not Abe Lincoln, a Republican? How many Americans of European decent (white skins, that is) fought and died for their freedom? The list goes on and on. The result of our public school system, I suppose….

  59. Racists. Church full of racists.

  60. Now that the football game’s over, I’m back to FOXNews and they’re showing BO at the podium – spewing his usual lies with a backdrop of clueless folks behind him.

He just took another swipe at Bush. Well, it’s a new day. Yesterday was the day to pretend he liked Bush – well, for a few minutes, anyway.

This guy makes me want to puke. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a bigger phony.

  61. This shows that GW Bush has more class in his pinky finger than Obama claims to have. After Bush agrees to help with the Haiti relief efforts, Obama makes sure that he arranges another Bush bashing political rally (don’t call it a ‘religious service’), so he can give him a big ‘FU’ for the ignorant masses.

  62. So, in my church, everyone faces the altar, because we’re there to worship God, not any person. Evidently it’s different when Obummer comes to church…

And, yes, bg, I noticed the middle finger salute, as well as the nose stuck high in the air. Obummer doesn’t have a clue…
    .

  63. That could just as well have been a church in Haiti. Also, the world hates America until they befell a disaster and then it’s criticism for where is American response and aid.
