John Kerry Denied Entry Into Iran

Denied.
The Iranian Parliament today voted to deny John Kerry his request to visit Iran.
The Hill reported:
Iranian legislators on Sunday decided to not allow a visit from Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (D-Mass.), according to Iranian media.
“Members of the Iranian parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee (a subcommittee of the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission) voiced opposition to the request after studying the issue,” Hassan Ebrahimi, head of the committee, told the semi-official Fars News Agency.
Several Iranian news outlets reported last week that Kerry had submitted an official request to visit Tehran in an emissary role.

The entire idea of Senator Kerry going to Iran was to have him “remain there as a guest” for several weeks, possibly several months, in order to ascertain the quality of Iran’s version of FEMA Camps….. um…. er…. I meant Iran’s education department and civic development systems.

The denial was not unexpected as the Islamic Republic does not allow ham products to be imported into their country.
Thankfully we don’t have John Kerry jetting to Iran to sell out this country once again. We have to thank the Iranians for missing this opportunity of US surrender that would have been conveyed by Mr. Kerry. The Iranians also missed an opportunity to have Mr. Kerry pose on an Iranian tank or missile launcher pointed at US forces in Iraq. Think of the wonderful publicity Kerry could have gotten for his hometown faithful from such a shot.
