It’s crazy time. The White House is going to stick with their line in the SOTU tonight that Scott Brown and Barack Obama won because of the “same factors.”
Robert Gibbs pushed this same crazy talking point on Sunday:

Gibbs also shared this earlier today– That Barack Obama will tell us tonight why we are angry and upset. (4 letters, Starts With a B, ends with USH)
Well halleluiah.
ABC reported:

The president’s going to explain why he thinks the American people are angry and frustrated,” White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said on “Good Morning America” today.

“Many of the same factors that led Sen. [Scott] Brown to become a senator from Massachusetts led Barack Obama to become president. Now, we’ve got to deal with those angers and frustrations by putting people back to work, by demonstrating we have a plan to get our economy continued on the road to recovery and putting those folks back to work, and protecting our country from those who seek to do us harm.”

  2. Well, it looks like the pre-regurgitated talking points have been prepared. Fine work!

  3. I’m just waiting for him to tell me “my core values”. I’ve been wondering about that for years, and am glad that I finally have a president who will take the time to inform me of what they are.

Hey, man, you think Bush woulda taken time to do that for me?

    T’scha! Didn’t think so!

  7. How condescending, as if we don’t know why we’re angry! He’s going to tell us, since we peon rubes aren’t bright enough to determine what has us all agitated.

  9. “Beltway Bob”!

I swear he practices delivering the President’s talking points for at least three hours before the daily press briefing. His comments – wickedly interspersed with “ahhhhhhhs”….and “Ummmmms” is totally canned rhetoric and seldom, if ever, actually answers a question. Gibbs would rather debate politics with the Press Corps than simply do his job and answer their questions.

Based on his answers to questions to date, it wouldn’t surprise me to hear that the entire group WALKED OUT right in the middle of his memorized spiel.

It has been over six months since the “man” subjected himself to a press conference. “What’s the Dough-Boy Afraid Of?” – Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.

    Christians in Crisis

[Cairo (AINA) -- 15-year-old Egyptian girl Dina el-Gowhary, who converted from Islam to Christianity, has sent a plea to President Obama, complaining of mistreatment by the Egyptian Government and asking for his mediation. "Mr President Obama," she writes, "we are a minority in Egypt. We are treated very badly. You said that the Muslim minority in America are treated very well, so why are we not treated here likewise? We are imprisoned in our own home because Muslim clerics called for the murder of my father, and now the Government has set for us a new prison, we are imprisoned in our own country."]

Obama et al never let a good crisis go to waste.. will he respond to this plea, will he ever acknowledge the plight of Christians in Muslim lands??

i mean, according to the NOI Messiah, we are no longer a Christian nation, and we are one of the largest Muslim country’s, shouldn’t he
be defending both religions, not just Islam?? or is he just using the claim of being a “Chrstian” as a front for the Muslim Brotherhood??

  15. D@mn zero, you stupidfly, yo!

  16. This is frightening example of denial. I saw it last year during the Cap & Trade and Obamacare fight. We saw it again with the war on radical islam. A stubbornness verging on complete rejection of reality.

But this takes it a step further. Even with irrefutable evidence that the country doesn’t want the hopey change that O and the media were promoting, these loons continue to act as if nothing serious had occurred. In other words, either they are treating us as if we were idiots or they are psychologically disturbed.

Pretty frightening when you consider that these loons are leading the most powerful country (at least for now) in the world.

  17. He’s trying to grab onto Scott Brown’s momentum? Uhhhh..Barack? He ran against everything you’ve been pushing. How in the world do you get the idea that the same things that got Scott Brown elected got YOU elected? Scott had a message and a goal, you have a public relations campaign and lies.

  18. I am so glad that Dr. Barry is in the house. I am going to lay on my couch and submit to his therapy, and then vote for every conservative on the ballot.
Isn’t that the message? We are so angry we vote for conservatives, even though we really agree with his policies, Huh?

  19. Yes, great. Thanks Barry, because clearly I am not smart enough to know why your party has risen my anger to new all time levels…I need your intellect to explain it to me.

  20. This could be a seminal event that crystallizes in the minds of millions of voters that the Democrats in Washington are stark raving lunatics, completely out of touch with the wishes of most Americans.

  21. How to describe the Obama White House: Out-of-touch-with-reality

  22. It’s just a ‘meme’ that the socialists are infecting the national narrative with…they want people to ‘believe’ that B0 was voted in for the same reasons… everyone knows that the tide behind Brown was anti-Obama… Unfortunately for the America-hating, Business-killing, freedom-slaying statists…that tide has evolved into a tsunami… don’t let the door hit ‘ye in the arse ..

    “Beltway Bob”!

    =====================

Excellent! He triple guarantees jobs for all will be saved or created if only we let Barry spend another trillion.

I’ve heard the Clinton comparison plenty lately. People advising him to “triangulate.” But BHO and Slick Willy are 2 very different people.

Slickster wanted to be loved and would contort himself like Gumby to make folks like him. He needed constant adulation, and used others’ opinions of him as his guide.

The ONE “KNOWS” that he’s the Messiah. He’s a true believer in .. well in him! So there’s no way that he’s going to give up on his social justice, redistribution, kick “the man” in the nuts program just because of a few cat calls. This dude is taking us all down with him.

  24. I fully expect to hear nothing but bovine scatology.

  25. In another “historic first” Obama will be the first president to wear a straight jacket when being escorted out of the Oval Office

  26. Way to go Robert Gibbs. Turn reality into a pretzel, ignoring the most incandescent repudiation imaginable of Obama’s agenda and performance. Keep dissing the electorate. Keep poking that lion with a stick. You’ll be lucky, come November, if you are not dismembered.

  27. Every time Obama blames Bush, do a shot!

  28. My version:

Tonite as you watch the SOTU speech, take a shot of your favorite adult beverage each time Obama says:

    - “I”
    - “me”
    - “the last eight years”
    - “let me be clear”
    - “inherited”
    - “care”

The winner is anyone still conscious at the end of the speech.

  29. Oh, and Obama is going to explain that we’re angry because we don’t have health care reform and that’s why we need it ASAP.

  30. The HUFFPO Comedy State of the Union Drinking Game can be viewed here: HA!
( a game.. not to be taken seriouslllllly)

  31. I’m an angry American because we have an idiot for a president.

It’s funny how my pro-Obama neighbors rarely bring up his name anymore.

P.S. I hate you too Robert Gibbs.

  32. He could have started by telling the American public about the Dems obssessing about health care as the economy crashed. What a bunch of asshats!!!

  33. Fun with Obama’s State of the Union
    S.E. Cupp

The guy we knew from the past year and from the campaign trail – lofty rhetoric, elitist pontificating from on high – was “Obama: Live at the Acropolis.” The State of the Union will mark a new beginning. Call it the debut of “Obama: Live at Folsom Prison.”

So as we gear up for the speech, may I suggest that you include in your survival kit a six-pack of your favorite adult beverage so we can play a little drinking game called “Barack the Plumber”.

    http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/columnists/cupp/index.html

  34. Gonna tell me “why [I'm] angry and frustrated”?

Hell, doofus, I KNOW why I’m angry and frustrated. Tell me what you’re going to do to mollify my anger and alleviate my frustration.

Start with something simple, like: STOP TRYING TO DESTROY MY COUNTRY, YOU FREAKIN’ MARXIST!!

Then, maybe you can get government out of the way of small business so that we can create a few jobs – thereby making life substantially better for us all.
