The democrats in Congress continue to impress.
When they’re not ramming massive new government programs or record spending down your throat they’re attacking anyone who criticizes their radical leftist agenda.

It didn’t take Democrat Alan Grayson long into the new year to start throwing his verbal bombs. Yesterday on the Ed Schultz program Grayson said that Satan should write the intro to Dick Cheney’s book.
Classy.

The Hill reported:

The Prince of Darkness himself might be best-suited to write the foreword to former Vice President Dick Cheney’s forthcoming book, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) suggested Monday.

Grayson, during an appearance on MSNBC, blasted the former Republican vice president for having attacked President Barack Obama’s handling of defending the U.S. from terrorist attacks.

Cheney’s attacks, Grayson argued, were only a tactic to gin up sales for his memoir, which is expected to be released this year.

“I wonder who’s doing the introduction to his book?” Grayson said. “Maybe it’s Mephistopheles; maybe it’s Satan.”

More… Florida State Rep Kurt Kelly is challenging Grayson in November.

  1. OMG. Grayson is emulating Hugo Chavez.

  2. Grayson is a flaming moron. He really is the poster child for the liberal/progressive movement. No class, no character, no clue!

  3. I was (believe it or not) thinking.

There is a scenario wherein I would consider voting for Obama or a dem. That would be if he/she were running for mayor of Hell (dems belong there) against satan. It would be a toss-up.

Any other case, I could not (in good conscience) vote for one of the execrable, vicious losers.

  4. I certainly hope that Florida wakes up and sends this clown packing!!! We already have enough!

  5. Yep, looks like Chavez as well.

When talking about or too Obama and Democrats try and think at their level, like you would talk to your two year old kid. Life gets much clearer when you do.

  6. I like Grayson. The damage he does to the Dem party every time he opens his oversized mouth is really quite wonderful. I will miss him after the next election.

  7. I’m so proud of my state’s representatives.

Between Hastings (my rep), Wexler, Wasserman-Schultz and the rest, the nicest thing I can say is, ‘at least they’re consistent’.

Congressman Grayson may have been better served if he dressed up as ‘Church Lady’ and really let loose. ;-)

    Cheers !

  8. Ha!! Redbeard that is so true!

  9. Funny, but the dedication in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” book is to satan. You know, the book all the left uses as their guide book. It is all projection from the left.

  10. Grayson, the idiot, is redundant. Mephistopheles and satan are one.

  11. LOL, this is great, very rare that the first thing out of a Liberals mouth condemns the thought they are trying to convey. When a Lib resorts to name calling they have lost the argument. Furthermore they are letting you know who they FEAR. We surround them!
    powder is dry.

  12. How could Grayson become a lawyer having never advanced past Jr. High ?

  13. I find that Grayson citing an FBI memo interesting. I believe that it was determined by the 9/11 Commission that there was a lot of red flags prior to 9/11 and the major problem was that various agencies were isolated from each other so no one “connected the dots”.

A LOT of changes were made post 9/11 that are now being undone. Bottom line is that prior to 9/11 the Radical Islamic Threat was not taken seriously to America’s peril. That was because of a combination of arrogance and ignorance.

The Obama Administration ignores the history of the Bush Administration successfully fighting the War on Terror just as they ignore the history of the Reagan Administration’s successful handling of the economy in the 1980s.

  14. “Funny, but the dedication in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” book is to satan. You know, the book all the left uses as their guide book. It is all projection from the left.”

This is so true. Everything they accuse you of, they are. These people are not mentally stable, and the only thing you can do is turn it back on them where it belongs. They’re robbing the United States treasury, just look at the so called stimulus money going to phony zip codes now. I feel like I’m living in some third world banana republic. It’s a huge black eye and a huge embarrassment that a small majority of Americans would elect such fools.

  15. Well it’s hard to ignore it when it’s not even taught…except as the, “bad example.” Here’s how NOT to make a Socialist dystopia plagued with terrorist/criminals/citizens: The Gipper, Dubya, 4 year old child with a good grasp of the fundamentals and no fear of the Pledge of Allegiance.

  16. This is depravity. It’s so sophomoric that it’s pathetic.

  17. Thank you Grayson, you have just upped the sales of Cheney’s book!

  18. How long before the men in white suits come to take this guy away?

  19. Grayson is TRULY the Appropriate Face of Liberalism.

    What a maroon.

  20. IOpian – If the One We Have Been Waiting For could become a lawyer (yeah, right), Grayson the Dingbat certainly could.

Redbeard is so on target. Now for some real comedy – someone should put Grayson, Bawney Fwank, Barbabra Boxer and a few other choice Dem numbnuts together on one stage! 3 Stooges – move over!

  21. omg, Grayson is ridiculous. What a complete and utter moron. How embarrassed his constituents must be!

  22. These leftist, jr., yearling Congressman are just currying favor with Pelosi Galore and their hero Barney. They will say and do anything to tap into those favors in the form of financial help on their upcoming campaigns and also to show that they are jolly good fellows and “team players”.
Pelosi and Barney like that in their boy toys.

  23. Don’t Kill the Messenger…

On “Larry King Live,” Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) offered a more reserved, but still damning critique.

“He’s in your party,” King asked, “what about Dick Cheney’s complaints?”

Paul smiled uncomfortably. “Well, I think he had his eight years and he caused a lot of trouble for our country, and he perpetuated a war in Iraq that was unnecessary and wrong headed. So I would say it would be best he not be so critical right now.”

  24. Fuzzy, we can safely assume that a lot people who voted for Grayson are embarrassed. Will it be enough? Cross fingers.

  25. Don’t want to kill the messenger, J.G., but questioning why Ron Paul is quoted, ever, on anything, is perhaps justified.

  26. Somebody should clue this hazard from Harvard into the fact that many in the leadership of his party have ascribed to the writings of Saul Alinsky, whose seminal community activist manual was dedicated to “Beelzabub” – in its first printing.

Bullies hide deep problems, Grayson is a 50-something political bully. Alan Grayson is obviously a very sick man who needs help and who should not have any control over others.

Clearly that alleged visit to the Washington state mental hospital after hitting a female law subordinate didn’t do the trick.

  27. Sheesh. Grayson is such an idiot. Everybody knows that Dick Cheney IS Satan!

  28. Hmmm… “steal, kill and destroy” as in money from those who earn it and babies in the womb …. “can only tell lies because his father is the Father of lies” … who does THAT sound more like? President Radical Lying Bastard and his minions or Dick Cheney?
You have to look at their fruit to know what kind of tree it is. A tree of life, or a tree of death. I think it’s safe to say which side of things the devil is on. The opposite side of righteousness, the side of all things unholy (i.e. the “Safe Schools Czar”, infanticide, etc.).
This a$$clown is one of the devils’ mouthpieces, along with the media and our lying president.

  29. At first his remarks were a little shocking and outrageous, now he is just annoying.

  30. From the photo of Grayson accompanying Gateway’s post, it looks as though somebody got a Mr. Potato Head for Christmas. Just saying…

  31. If anyone knows what Satan should do, it’s Grayson.

    re: [Don’t Kill the Messenger…]

lol, you’re more of an echoer than a messenger, all you’re doing is
delivering a message the messenger has already delivered.. ergo:

    what’s to kill??

opinions facts do not make, that goes for Congressctitters as well..

Ron Paul proffered ZERO evidence to back up his accusations..

so there you go, no message, no messenger to kill..

  35. Grayson is a transplanted, “Harvard bred New Yorker” (if that doesn’t say it all, then nothing does) who infested my state with his slime. I would gladly pay for a one way Greyhound bus ticket to send him back where he came from.

For those who think abortion is right, he would make a prime posterchild of why he should have been one to had it happen to him.

He also makes a prime example of global warming with all the CO2 he exerts every time he opens his idiotic mouth.

One of the many sorry excuses for a human I have seen running this great country.

  36. Ron Paul is just about has offbased as Grayson. He lost me a long, long time ago.

  37. bg

Ron Paul, the Republican was being kind… two facts come to mind…

    9/11 and Richard Reed’s attempt happened on Bush/Cheney’s watch…

    Are those opinions also?

Oh, and then there’s this from 2006….

A 30-page National Intelligence Estimate completed in April cites the “centrality” of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and the insurgency that has followed, as the leading inspiration for new Islamic extremist networks and cells that are united by little more than an anti-Western agenda. It concludes that, rather than contributing to eventual victory in the global counterterrorism struggle, the situation in Iraq has worsened the U.S. position, according to officials familiar with the classified document.

  38. @RedBeard, yes, I think it will be enough. This guy is a joke, but no one is laughing (with him, anyway).

  39. Grayson isn’t just an embarrassment to Floridians; he’s an embarrassment to Americans. I hope Floridians vote him out when his term is up.

  40. jeffgannon #32.

Fact: That was then. This is now.

Obama and Holder have impaired the security procedures Bush and Cheney tried (against libdem opposition) to put in place.

Your first cite is a fact Bush was prez when Rich Reed tried to bomb that airliner. What was that three months after 9/11? How many years was 25 December 2009 after 11 September 2001? Eight years and three months plus. Obama in less than 12 months fouled up the security works. B/C Obama doesn’t care about savings Americans from terrorists.

Bush may have made mistakes. Obama doesn’t want to save US lives. He wants to not piss off terrorists. That is a war strategy in la la land, and it is killing Americans.

Fact: there have been 13 terrorist attacks in the US since Obama got in. That’s proprtionally about ten times as many as occurred under the eight years of the greatest Prez since Reagan.

So what is your point with fact #2? Did all them terrorists come to the US and kill thousands of Americans? No. The cited thousands of feces.for.brains savages went to Iraq and got justly killed by American and Iraqi warriors.

Go shove your libreral lies where the sun don’t shine.

    just a sample:

“The Arabs Have Stopped Applauding Obama”

Weakening Islamism is Vital to Improve US Image in the Muslim world

    On the Job Training

    A Cold-Blooded Foreign Policy

It’s not over until it’s over

According to John Brennan, head of the White House’s homeland security office, the war on terrorism is over. From now on, the administration will never use terms like “jihadists” and “global war” because doing so, as Mr. Brennan said, “risks giving these murderers the religious legitimacy they desperately seek but in no way deserve.” He insisted that the U.S. is at “war with al Qaeda” (“U.S. no longer at war with ‘terrorism’ ,” Page 1, Friday).

Could we be more blind? Acts of terror are rooted in the aspirations
of Islamists to create an Islamic state and impose their version of Shariah law.

As a devout Muslim who, like many others across the world, is dedicated to fighting Islamism and its radical offshoots, I believe there is nothing more dangerous to our security in the long term than the leader of the free world remaining in categorical denial about the essence of this ever-so-real contest of ideas.

Al Qaeda had nothing to do with the string of radical Islamists arrested across the country — from North Carolina to New York, Oregon and New Jersey (to name but a few) — in the last year alone. The only thing these radicals have in common is their belief in a militant version of political Islam.

I certainly can understand the concern of making this a clash of religions, but that should not lead to outright misinformation. There is a civil war happening within the Muslim consciousness — between those who advocate for the Islamic state (Islamists) and those who believe in secular liberal democracies.

It certainly is not the role of any administration to determine who are “good” and “bad” jihadists. Not calling them exactly what they call themselves makes the White House the arbiter of who is and who is not a Muslim. This avoidance behavior allows American Islamists, like the Muslim Brotherhood’s front groups in Washington, to continue to deny their responsibility to lead the Islamic reform effort against Islamism and its role in radicalization — the real existential threat to the West.

The last administration used a term far too vague, labeling the tactic of terror as the enemy rather than the ideology of militant Islamism. Now
we have swung the other way, targeting a single group that is but one manifestation of a global movement. The movement radicalizes Muslims and remains an ever-present danger to our citizenry and it should be identified as such.
