That is one of the most racist things I’ve heard on a broadcast network in decades. How dare he call Conservatives racist! He implies that he thinks about Obama’s skin color most of the time, but was able to forget it for an hour tonight. Shameful!

That shows how race-obsessed libs are. A relative of mine lived for several years with a black guy whose intellectual capabilities appeared to be far below hers. A nice guy, but not a lot upstairs. A cousin of hers asked her if she ever forgot that her live-in was black, and her reply was never. This was in SoHo in Manhattan, where they would have gotten minimum flack for being an interracial couple.

All’s well that ends well. The relative married someone else and has had a good life.

Chris Matthews is outright lying. Obama didn’t want tort reform, and made sure it was kept out. He got his union buddies exempt from the health care reform package he wants forced on us.

PS: Crissy, were you inferring that a black person’s speech would have normally been something less than what you heard? Did the President over-achieve “for a black man”?

Personally, I thought this was the President’s weakest speech to date. He was strained, appeared angry several times and certainly dug in his heels, politically. When he openly chastised the Supreme Court I just shook my head in disbelief. If the Chief Justice criticized the President in front of the world, Democrats would be screaming bloody murder. I strongly suspect we’ll hear a LOT more about that comment in the week’s ahead.

The usually smooth talking President didn’t bring his “A” game tonight…Not by a long shot.

You know, I never think about the color of Obama’s skin. I don’t care nearly as much as Matthews seems to.
And he seems to be thinking more about that then the content of the rest of his little speech, because I don’t recall Obama reaching out to Repub’s, nor do I recall his interest in tort reform beyond a ‘state lab’ when it’s been enacted successfully long before this – but then, it’s Matthews. If it weren’t for clips like this, I’d never know what he had to say. I don’t watch the man.
