Busted. Dem Coakley Alleges Voter Fraud in Press Release… Prepared on Monday

Here’s the latest disgraceful move from the Coakley Campaign.
While she was out holding a campaign rally at the Martin Luther King Breakfast yesterday, her campaign staff was preparing a press release blaming Republicans of voter fraud.

Campaign Manager Kevin Conroy:
We’ve received several independent and disturbing reports of voters across the state being handed ballots that are already marked in favor of Scott Brown. This is obviously a serious violation, and our legal team is taking immediate steps to protect the integrity of this election.We do not yet know why this is happening, but you and everyone you know needs to be aware of the situation so that you can carefully inspect your ballot. If a vote has already been marked, you must return the ballot to the elections official, demand a clean ballot, and call our Voter Protection Hotline at 617-351-6866.

UPDATE: The Scott Brown Camp responded to the accusations:
Reports that the Coakley campaign is making reckless accusations regarding the integrity of today’s election is a reminder that they are a desperate campaign. In fact, news reports point out that today’s accusation was a pre-dated, in the bag political attack.

It may be a pretext to delay seating Brown but it looks like the machine is not willing to go to bat for Coakley on this (and to be honest, they were taking her election for granted through this – they were never exactly at bat for her).

They probably did it themselves. It is a set up just to give them a basis for challenging the election. It is B.S. If they screw with this election, there will be an insurrection in this country. Everyone in the country is watching. What everyone ought to be watching is the fact that there are about 100,000 absentee ballots. Watch them. The union thugs have been up there for about a week. More than ample time to organize the undead community.

My husband was talking to a colleague from his past that moved to MA two years ago. He showed up at the polls today, a registered Republican, and was informed that there was some irregularity with his driver’s license and his ballot would be accepted as “provisional”.
He was perplexed to say the least.
The eyewitness accounts I’ve read today noted that ID wasn’t required nor asked for at their polling places.
Interesting in a state that hasn’t been checking driver’s licenses at the polls today for the most part.
Republicans can run all of the great candidates in the world but it isn’t going to matter if on a state level we fail to clean up the corruption at the polls. As I see it we all need to put pressure on the state level legislature slugs to move on this.

My son went to vote, and he was listed on the Voter Registration as “Inactive”, and had to produce photo ID, and had to sign some paperwork to certify, under penalty of purjury, that he was who he said he is. He voted there in the last election (although he did not vote in the primary). He has lived at the same address with his family for five years. His wife went to vote and had no such problem. ???

Let me see…. they found at the most 5 of these ballot papers. Here are the possibilities:
1. the people inside and in charge of the ballot papers put someone’s marked papers in the wrong pile.
2. Those rascal Republicans really did it.
3. The Dhimcrats planted the papers purposefully with the intention of pulling a stunt….
Personally, I think that option 3 is the best choice. It seems in line with what Coakley would have tried to pull since she was that desperate once she realized that it was not going to be a cakewalk.
