Barack Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”

Here’s the video of Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack getting pushed over a railing outside Martha Coakley’s lobbyist fundraiser in Washington DC.

The DNC sent the reported thug, Michael Meehan, to Massachusetts to assist with messaging.

He was roughed up and pushed down by Michael Meehan.

Michael Meehan was nominated by President Barack Obama to the Broadcasting Board of Governors in November, via Free Republic.
What a complete shock.

UPDATE: The Plum Line reported that Obama appointee Michael Meehan apologized today for roughing-up John McCormack.

This resulted from a Mom in Alabama asking her high school son to help with a commercial for the Tea Party she was involved in organizing.

Boy, does it slam the message home. Very impressive. Here is her note:

I asked Justin if he could help me make a commercial for my group’s Tea Party. He sat down at the laptop for about an hour, and then brought this to me and asked, ‘is this okay, Mom?’

After I finished watching it, my stomach was in my throat. Everyone that I have sent it to has really enjoyed it, so I wanted my friends to see it. I am so proud!”

[First, it highlights the fact that Coakley had left Massachusetts to attend
a lobbyist fundraiser in D.C.. Taking big bucks from Big Pharma in the middle of this fight? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Then there's the guy who got shoved. McCormack is the reporter who asked the question about Afghanistan that literally stopped Coakley in her tracks. After a few blinks of incomprehension, she answered by asking, "Does anyone ELSE have a question?" This issue is a disaster for Coakley because it reveals her utter lack of experience or (apparently) basic knowledge on foreign policy, just two weeks after a terrorist successfully got on a U.S. airplane.

And perhaps most damaging is the power of this example. If I were to summarize the attitude of the typical Massachusetts resident right now, it would be "tired of being pushed around." Our governing class doesn't even bother to pretend to pay attention to the people. The last-second rule change on Senate elections is just the latest example of political arrogance.

There are many Massachusetts voters who will see McCormack being shoved, and shoved again, and think, "I know how you feel, buddy."]

The AP is pushing that the reporter tripped and the man was just helping him up off the street. Could have been credible enough, but the behavior afterwards captured on film is classic body block – the guy isn’t a stranger to this passive-aggressive manuvering. He couldn’t do anything he wanted, too many people watching so he covers his roughing.

I will not donate anything to a .gov website.

You honestly think that the money donated there will actually get to the people of Haiti? No, it will end up in the hands of the Corruptocrats Communist buddies in Haiti for “redistribution” aka to line the pockets of the Communist party there. or even worse, it will end up being diverted to the SEIU and ACORN to “stimulate” Coakley’s campaign.

Won’t donate to the Red Cross, either-the money is most likely to end up in their “general fund” to pay for their private jets (like they wanted to do with the donations after 9/11).

You might as well drive down the street and throw dollar bills out the window instead of sending it to UNICEF or any other UN organization, at least it might make it to someone who actually needs it. Well, if you like funding cocktail parties for UN officials go right ahead-it is your money, after all.

Doctors without Borders is little more then Code Pink in scrubs. They will make sure all the Communists in Haiti get treated then blame the US for everyone else not receiving treatment.

If you are going to donate to anyone donate to the Salvation Army. At least you are reasonably assured the money will go there to help people.

Of course Obama’s statement reveals exactly why liberals are so “anti-gun”. They aren’t anti-gun as long as they are the only ones that have guns. The second ammendment was never about hunting, but about self-defense–against tyranny.
