Is this the end of Hope and Change as we know it?
Scott Brown is leading big in three polls today.
American Research Group has Scott Brown up 52-45:

Republican Scott Brown leads Democrat Martha Coakley 52% to 45% in the special Massachusetts US Senate race to replace Senator Ted Kennedy according to a telephone survey conducted January 15-17 among 600 likely voters in Massachusetts saying they will definitely vote in the special election on January 19.

Brown leads Coakley 97% to 1% among registered Republicans and he leads 64% to 32% among unenrolled voters. Coakley leads Brown 73% to 23% among registered Democrats…

Insider Advantage has Scott Brown up by 9 points.
The Politico reported:

A new InsiderAdvantage poll conducted exclusively for POLITICO shows Republican Scott Brown surging to a nine-point advantage over Martha Coakley a day before Massachusetts voters trek to the ballot box to choose a new senator.

According to the survey conducted Sunday evening, Brown leads the Democratic attorney general 52 percent to 43 percent.

My FOX Boston has Scott Brown up by double digits.

A poll released a day before the special Senate race shows Senator Scott Brown surging to a double-digit lead over Attorney General Martha Coakley in the race for the open Massachusetts Senate seat.

The shift in favor of the Republican Party is a potential disaster for President Barack Obama and his Democratic political agenda.

  1. Brown/Palin 2012 FTW

  2. Thank you God. I just got through listening to the Washington punditry in the name of Rasmussen and Zogby. As usual they answered out of both sides of their mouths so as not to offend either side. Hannity was going to ask them who was going to win but I turned off the radio before they could answer.

  3. Nobody likes Scott Brown but the people and we have his back. God bless you Scott Brown. You will be a wonderful Senator. On Wednesday I hope to say CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?

Thank you so much for this blog. I don’t know what this former Dem would do without you.

  4. Hey Sandy, I listened to the answers and yeah, you wouldn’t have liked it.

But keep this in mind, all the other polls are starting to reflect each other, more or less. And InTrade, which I follow now has Brown at 70.

Plus, Zogby said he wasn’t even polling this race and Rasmussen hasn’t had one for bout a week.

  5. tx — You mean they both thought Brown would win?

  6. On No Quarter one of the comments said that the Coakley Campaign says Brown is now threatening violence. I think I need an analyst to find out how I could have been a life long Democrat. These people are nuts.

  7. Brown-Palin, Palin-Brown sounds good to me … What a team that would be.

Don’t blow at the finish line … We got to have enough to exceed the ACORN vote.

And you know if it’s close, Democrats lie cheat and steal to win elections.

  8. “Is this the end of Hope and Change as we know it?”

Given the plan for reconciliation on health care legislation, I suspect they’ll get that passed and signed into law. Whereupon it will be immediately challenged on several fronts as un-Constitutional. The implementation of said legislation could be delayed for many moons, depending on how soon the SCOTUS takes up the issue and, ultimately, rules.

Other than this all important fact, a Scott Brown win in Massachusetts brings Hope and Change to a screeching halt…and not a day too soon, in my humble opinion.

Hope and Change has become Hoax and Chicanery.

  9. Brown/Palin 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. But among dead corpses, Coakley is up 100%-0% over Brown. Don’t count your chickens yet. Voter fraud, ala ACORN style, isn’t factored in the polls.

  11. Sandy – Zogby called it for Coakley just on GOTV. Rasmussen called it for Brown but then added, “I’m not very confident saying that.”

  12. Jim? Does anyone have an idea what kind of GOTV the Republicans have planned?

I think this is what will decide the election. We need a strong ground game…And lawyers up the wazoooo

  13. Obviously Lark Evor is going to have some ‘splainin to do!

If we can understand him through that beard…
