Violent Leftists Riot & Smash Windows at Global Warming Junk Science Protest (Video)

“No junk science… No peace…”
Young violent indoctrinated leftists rioted in Copenhagen today in the run up to the junk science talks scheduled for next week.

At least 500 of the violent youths were arrested during the rioting.
Sky News reported, via Drudge:

Hundreds of youths dressed in black threw bricks and smashed windows as at least 30,000 people demonstrated in the centre of the city as world leaders debate global warming.

The rioters, whose faces were covered, went on the rampage in the heart of the city, prompting swift arrests as some 50 policemen in riot gear intervened.

Demonstrators were forced to the ground and then bundled into vans.

The Times story goes on to say that there are “over 220 million American people armed to the teeth and ready to explode.”…….” Just an opinion piece? Dunno… But BHO would be stupid to not know that his disatrous policies will lead to……???

It is a lot worse than junk science. When the head of the UN International Panel On Climate Change is simultaneously head of a commercial organisation set up by Indian conglomerate Tata to research ways of exploiting the commercial opportunities thrown up by climate change and is also best mates with Al Gore, one of the biggest players in the carbon trading game the whole thing starts to stink like a medieval middden.

That “news story” is a hoax. I saw it a few weeks ago and, like a lot of other people, was taken in by it. I mean, it reads like a newspaper article. It turns out that the hoaxster who wrote it has been doing this for a while. In fact, he had to change from his own name (which he used to pen under) to that of a Russian woman, supposedly writing for one of the major Russian papers (the name of which I can’t recall at the moment).

I tried to find the page in which the hoax and hoaxster are outed but can’t find it. If I log in on our other ‘puter today, I’ll come back and post the link as I bookmarked it while using that one.

I’m more worried about the rape and pillage of our people by the half of our people for whom rape and pillage is a fantasy, a dream, and, in New Orleans during hurricanes, a reality. Thanks for following this issue, and especially for including extensive lists of links to the mathematical criticism of the AGW hysterics more exaggerated claims. I learned in a conversation last night that this issue is NOT dead, and further that we as a country have a long way to go toward obtaining a reasonably level of mathematical literacy.

It was a genial conversation, but one of my friends “outed” me as a “global warming denier,” a charge which clearly shocked some people at the party, especially when I cheerfully acknowledged it, because “I am a chemist.”

My explanation, of what kind of information one can get out of an experiment, did not get their attention. It should have been a conversation-stopper. When I said that, in an experiment, if the difference in results between two experiments is less than the margin of error, then the results are the same, was simply waved aside as if it were unimportant.

People in this country are receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in biology, the social sciences, and medicine, without any understanding of fundamental, basic, easy statistics. As a result, their crap detectors are non-functional, and they are gullible.

We do not have to live with this. We need to upgrade the curriculum for the softer sciences. We need to include basic mathematical analysis as part of the undergraduate and graduate requirements for biology, economics, sociology, psychology, etc.
