Uh-Oh… US Knew of Al-Qaeda Terror Plot Involving Nigerian Before Christmas

This doesn’t look good.
US officials knew about a Nigerian being prepared for a terrorist attack before Christmas!
FOX News reported:
The U.S. government had intelligence from Yemen before Christmas that leaders of a branch of Al Qaeda there were talking about “a Nigerian” being prepared for a terrorist attack, the New York Times reported Tuesday.
A senior official told the Times that President Obama was told in a private meeting Tuesday while vacationing in Hawaii that the government had a variety of information in its possession before the failed bombing on a Detroit-bound flight last week that would have been a clear warning sign had it been shared among intelligence agencies.
The newspaper said the information did not include the name of the Nigerian.
It must be Bush’s fault.
Obama went snorkeling today.

Obama is not treating the war against terrorism as a global conflict.. he is treating the extremely serious threat as a local law enforcement problem..
deja vu the Clinton administration, who’s policy (or lack thereof) greatly attributed to the 9/11 attackers slipping through the cracks (more like a grand canyon) so to speak..

Here is a cost cutting idea:
Combine the two agencies by having airline passengers going through security get their annual medical exam at the same time.
Doctors and nurses will be inspecting every person. No crevice or orifice goes unchecked.

Napolitano became governor of Arizona in 2002 in one of those dodgy election wins that didn’t used to raise eyebrows but today would be seen as standard Democratic playbook. She beat the Republican by less than one percentage point — 46 to 45 percent — because a rather fishy third party candidate took votes from the GOP.

There was one Richard Mahoney on the ballet running as an Independant and talking like a conservative. Mahoney is not an independant or a conservative. He is a machine Democrat. Wikipedia has him as a career Damocratic politician:

Mahoney mouthed conservative rhetoric during the campaign and managed to siphon off 7 percent of the vote, no doubt from Napolitano’s GOP opponent. The basic tamplate is similar to the recent NJ governor’s race where ‘Independant’ Chris Daggett who spoke like a conservative and carried the Sierra Club endorsement threatened a victory for Corzine over Chris Christi.

Yesterday Rep. Peter King complained that the Obami have built an “iron curtain” and have a “stonewalling mentality” when it comes to sharing information with Congress on terrorist attacks. Actually, it seems as though they didn’t share information with each-other either — and now their reticence to explain anything to Congress can more clearly be seen as an effort to mask their own gross incompetence. A serious Congressional or independent investigation would be a smart idea. Otherwise, we may never know exactly what happened or what went wrong.

1. announce criminal investigations of CIA interrogators of terrorists, even though the interrogators’ actions saved countless American lives;
2. prosecute heroic Navy Seals for hurting the feelings of a murderous terrorist;
3. appoint incompetent political hacks as your Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security;
