President Obama says told the Nobel Peace Prize Committee that others were more deserving of the award than he was.
Ya think?
But he did right a book… And he ran a campaign on hopenchange.
And, of course, Obama also bashed America during his acceptance speech.
Here’s the transcript of Obama’s Nobel speech.
…The world rallied around America after the 9/11 attacks, and continues to support our efforts in Afghanistan, because of the horror of those senseless attacks and the recognized principle of self-defense. Likewise, the world recognized the need to confront Saddam Hussein when he invaded Kuwait — a consensus that sent a clear message to all about the cost of aggression.
Furthermore, America cannot insist that others follow the rules of the road if we refuse to follow them ourselves. For when we dont, our action can appear arbitrary, and undercut the legitimacy of future intervention — no matter how justified.
This becomes particularly important when the purpose of military action extends beyond self-defense or the defense of one nation against an aggressor…
No wonder they love him in Europe.

The immediate cause of the anger sweeping North Korea is a currency “reform” that amounts to the government stealing from its own deprived population. With its priorities on bankrolling the military and the production of missiles and nuclear weapons, while its people endure repression, cold and hunger, North Korea’s government has produced runaway inflation. On Dec. 1, North Korean authorities imposed a surprise plan to revalue the country’s currency, the won. The plan has entailed issuing new banknotes, lopping off two zeroes, so 1,000 won becomes 10. People were given just one week to swap old money for new, after which the old notes would become worthless. A limit was placed on the amount that could be officially exchanged, effectively confiscating all individual savings worth more than about $40 at informal exchange rates.

Obama’s moral standing that you reference is Black Liberation Theology, Marxist revised Muslim theocracy feigning Christianity. Yet it’s Christmas with no reference to the baby Jesus tolerated by the First Family occupying the White House. Obama decided not to burden Mary with a baby.
The authoritarian Obama has the gall to pose as if he’s alpha and omega. “I am living testimony to the moral force of nonviolence.”
The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. The USA is a Constitutional Republic AND sovereign nation. And in warfare, our military adheres to the Geneva Convention.
You fail to note that Obama denies the existence of unalienable rights, and applies Constitutional Rights to non-citizens while simultaneously denying citizens their Bill of Rights. Obama holds the Constitution in contempt, demanding to revise and alter everything in order for our government to conform to Marxism and be subservient to the UN and international law.
Even in terms of common courtesy, aside from his antipathy for Americans, Obama’s manners lack etiquette in diplomatic circles, destroying our nation’s alliances.
The only rule that Marxist revisionist Obama abides is to maintain a malleable record.

Obama knew all about Farrakhan
[In 1985, the year following Wright and Farrakhan's trip to Libya, Obama, then a Chicago community activist, visited Wright's church. In Wright, it was reported, Obama "had found both a spiritual mentor and a role model." In 1991, Obama joined TUCC and "walked down the aisle in a formal commitment of faith."
Ten years after first stepping foot in Wright's church, in October 1995 Obama accompanied Wright to Farrakhan's "Million Man March."
The following year, in January 1996, Farrakhan returned from another trip to Libya. It was the same month in which Barack Obama became an Illinois State Senator. By then, Obama had been attending Rev. Wright's church for ten years, the latter five as a committed member. The New York Times reported:
Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, visited Libya this week to meet Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi and discussed how to "unify, mobilize and organize" American Muslims for elections in the United States this year.
Colonel Qaddafi, the Libyan leader, quoted by the state press agency, said: "Our confrontation with America used to be like confronting a fortress from outside. Today we have found an opening to enter the fortress and to confront it from within."]

We must begin by acknowledging the hard truth that we will not eradicate violent conflict in our lifetimes. There will be times when nations – acting individually or in concert – will find the use of force not only necessary but morally justified…
But as a head of state sworn to protect and defend my nation, I cannot be guided by their examples alone. I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people. For make no mistake:
evil does exist in the world. A non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler’s armies. Negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda’s leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism – it is a recognition of history; the imperfections of man and the limits of reason.
I raise this point because in many countries there is a deep ambivalence about military action today, no matter the cause. At times, this is joined
by a reflexive suspicion of America, the world’s sole military superpower.
BHO:
Yet the world must remember that it was not simply international institutions – not just treaties and declarations – that brought stability to a post-World War II world. Whatever mistakes we have made, the plain fact is this: the United States of America has helped underwrite global security for more than six decades with the blood of our citizens and the strength of our arms. The service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform has promoted peace and prosperity from Germany to Korea, and enabled democracy to take hold in places like the Balkans. We have borne this burden not because we seek to impose our will. We have done so out of enlightened self-interest – because we seek a better future for our children and grandchildren, and we believe that their lives will be better if other peoples’ children and grandchildren can live in freedom and prosperity.

To that end, in order to dilute the country into its militia-like organization, will "prepare and organize the people for integral defense." In addition, it will "forge alliances or coalitions with the armed forces of foreign countries." The ongoing military revolution will have not borders. At the end, there is one single purpose -retired military officer Chávez Frías will boast his five-sun insignia appropriate for his new rank of commander in chief, awarded by himself, and not by the grace of God.]
Obama’s ‘Civilian Security Force’
[Advocates of limited government are concerned about comments by Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) regarding his national service plans and views on the "burden of global citizenship."]
Senator Obama, Citizen of the World
[European socialists and Middle Eastern Muslims are wildly enthusiastic about Senator Obama, because he styles himself a citizen of the world who, like all liberal- progressive- socialists, aims for world government.
American liberal- progressive- socialism, in the person of Senator Obama, is a carbon copy of European socialism, and Islamic jihadists recognize that socialism offers no opposition to their ruthless jihad to enslave the entire world.
For historical perspective, let's look to one of France's leading socialist theoreticians, the late Jean- François Revel. As I wrote at the time of M. Revel's death in May, 2006:
Jean- François Revel, who died last week at the age of 82, was that exceedingly rare person: a French intellectual who didn't despise the United States, an intellectual who understood the cancerous prognosis of liberalism.
Revel's 1983 "How Democracies Perish" described liberalism's debilitating effect on confronting the threat of domination by the Soviet Union. His observations apply equally today in our long-term struggle against Islamic jihad.]

[I am convinced the change Mr. Obama touts is, in fact, a through trashing of the US Constitution, changing America from a democratic republic to a socialist country under a socialist government, giving up the miracle of capitalism for the nightmare of socialism, giving up the idea of private property, you know, so the wealth can be "redistributed", reducing the size and strength of our military and giving that money away in the form of "social" programs, again to redistribute the wealth, and finally, placing the US firmly in the grasp of the United Nations, which is, in my opinion, one of the most corrupt organizations ever designed by the mind of man.]
OH BTW
[Obama's bill S2433 would require the U.S. to initially direct .7 percent of our GNP into the United Nations coffers for distribution as they see fit, for "food" to third world nations. Under earlier agreements this would evolve into a national tax on the U.S. with the UN attempting to levy this on all first world nations.
The U.N. would have the power to increase this rate of taxation.]
& PS
[The House has already passed the bill (by a voice vote so there will be no record of an individual's vote). And Sen. Joe Biden (possible VP choice) has rushed the bill through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with another voice vote and without any hearings. It is now ready for a full Senate vote. Harry Reid just has to schedule it.]

now that is ironic..
Candidate’s Global Poverty Act could be a veiled threat to U.S. taxpayers
[The bill defines the term "Millennium Development Goals" as the goals set out in the United Nations Millennium Declaration, General Assembly Resolution 55/2 (2000). These goals call for "the eradication of poverty by redistribution of wealth and land," cancellation of "the debts of developing countries," and a fair distribution of Earth's resources."

So much idiocy packed into one sentence, the mind boggles….
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It’s hard to believe that the authorities just let idiots like that walk around all over, isn’t it?
Though this one sounds as though he has a keeper take him out to the petting zoo.

LOL. Wow, what a BRUTAL BASHING of America!
You’re a little late coming to the party, twit-head. As previously noted, the quoted part of Obama’s speech is a clear denunciation of and apology for the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.
If you don’t understand that, you have serious reading comprehension problems.

First THIS from Jolly Holly Solly:
“And, as for being “civil and polite” – your “president” is nothing but a dirt-common street corner spiv from chicago. He hasn’t a refined bone in his body. He’s just tacky trash.”
And then, THIS:
“…you…have no concept of manners or decorum.”
LOLOLOLOL
Solly-doodle, my MAN! I don’t think you’d recognize irony if it walked up to you, gave you a “terrorist fist bump” and kicked you in your tiny, seldom-used package.
LOL!

Naw Liberty, these good folks here just LUV the JOOZ. Why?
OK, so why don’t you tell us how YOU feel about the JOOZ, Libertine and Oy Veyen’? Honestly. Let’s hear how much you love the JOOZ, for, let’s say, bringing the Ten Commandments to the world. Can you do that? Inquiring minds want to know your deepest thoughts.

Wow JPL…so we should never apologize for our mistakes? If we do, is that “bashing” ourselves?
Did your dad “bash” himself for not using a rubber on the night you were conceived?

Actually, pathetic little leftoid drone, your people (the anti-American leftists) are the biggest Jew-haters in the country.
You can see their anti-semitism at all of their little demonstrations (riots) – displayed quite openly and proudly. As they are proud, too, of their support for arab/islamofascist terrorists.
And, the “truthers” are – for the most part – on the left.
One of the boldest hallmarks of the leftoids is their overwhelming hatred of Jews and Israel; and a desire to see Israel eradicated.
Right here on GP, there was a thread of over 200 comments – a large percentage of which were anti-Jewish comments from your fellow leftoid drones spouting the party line.
Sorry, lefty, but the Jew-hatred belongs to you and the rest of the left.

That should be “a thread of over 1200 comments”.

What kind of idiotic question is that? Are you 5 years old?

So true. Most on the left (not all, but most) hate Jews because they brought the Ten Commandments into the world. You know, all that uncool jazz about honoring your parents, not worshipping false gods, not killing innocent life, not committing adultery — you know, like, it’s all so yesterday, man. It gets so in the way of, like, doing your own thing. Like, no offense, man, but the Jews, they have to go, dig?

IMHO, I thnk Obama is seeing the world as it really is and not just from a text book.
” I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people. For make no mistake: Evil does exist in the world. A nonviolent movement could not have halted Hitlers armies. Negotiations cannot convince al-Qaidas leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism — it is a recognition of history, the imperfections of man and the limits of reason.”
“Yet the world must remember that it was not simply international institutions — not just treaties and declarations — that brought stability to a post-World War II world. We have done so out of enlightened self-interest — because we seek a better future for our children and grandchildren, and we believe that their lives will be better if other people’s children and grandchildren can live in freedom and prosperity.”

sorry, but more like he took bits & pieces of several previous presidents speeches (i also recognize words spoken by Kennedy & Reagan in there as well) & incorporated them into his..
it has also been proved that Obama does not mean what he says aka: HE LIES..
therefore he must plagiarize others “just words”..
fact is, left to his own devises, we get uhtered nonsense..

Ok, c’mon, a large part of the speech was possibly the most pro-American content we’ve heard from Obama. Bashing him over two lines from the speech, and ignoring the huge parts that contradict your talking point? That’s a liberal media tactic.
