Rep. Hoekstra Doubles Down… Blames Obama Administration Again for Al-Qaeda's Attempted Plane Bombing

Rep. Pete Hoekstra was on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace today and blamed Barack Obama again for the attempted bombing of the Northwest Airlines flight on Christmas Day.
The Hill reported on Hoekstra’s appearance today on FOX News Sunday:
Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) said Sunday that it is fair to blame the Obama administration for the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight bound for Detroit on Christmas Day.
Hoekstra, the top Republican on the House Select Intelligence Committee said that the administration has not taken the threat of terrorist threats on the U.S. seriously.
Asked by Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace if it is fair to blame the Obama administration for the attacks, the Michigan Republican replied “”Yeah, I think it really is.”
This year, domestic terror plots peaked. There have been 32 terror-related “events” on US shores since 9/11, and 12 of those occurred in 2009.

Hoekstra is right, it was a huge failure of US Intelligence and the system failed horribly. And it’s all Obama’s fault.
It was only a failed detonator and the passengers that prevented disaster.

I can’t get over how some newcasters are still stating that the U.S. hasn’t had a terrorist attack since 9/11. What rock are they living under? Fort Hood? Not a terrorist attack? So, I wonder if this could be the same ” …gentleman in a business suit”, who was seen by witnesses escorting the underwear bomber to the plane in Amsterdam?

flight who may be able to ID him?

I disagree. US Intel was not at fault on this one. Or at least, so it seems as of now. Nobody’s intel can pick up on probes like this one; especially when there are only two or three guys involved, and they don’t say anything until after the incident is over. (And I do believe that this was just a probe to see if we were still playing PC Games with people’s lives.)
However, it WAS, INDEED a total and complete FAILURE OF THE SYSTEM (read: homeland security – lol). If janet believes that the “system worked” – then she’s living in some sort of dream world. She’d better stop smoking whatever is giving her those delusions and get serious about H.S. – or resign.
If the system worked as it was supposed to – then why did a PASSENGER have to do TSA’s work for them? Will there now be “designated heroes” on each flight? Will they get to fly free?
The system FAILED — BADLY!! The muzzy should never have been on the flight in the first place. He should have been arrested and investigated when he tried to board without a passport.
It’s gonna be a lo-o-o-o-ong three years, people. And people are going to die because of the regime in power now. (And they’ll use those deaths to roll over the rest of us.)
