GOP Senators released this video asking Americans to get out and help stop the government takeover of the health care industry:
Republicans are fighting against Democratic health care reform proposals, which would cut your Medicare, raise your taxes, and threaten your health care choices. We believe that any health care reform legislation should lower costs and expand access without raising your taxes or adding billions of dollars to the deficit.
Senator John McCain delivered the GOP Weekly Address today targeting the democratic takeover of the health care industry.
Here is the video.

Screw being nice. Stop playing the game.
The Constitution says “promote the general welfare”, not “provide” or “ensure” it.
NO American can be required to purchase anything by the federal government to remain a citizen in good legal standing.
THAT’S THE WAY “OUR” SENATORS SHOULD BE FIGHTING THE ON-PURPOSE DESTRUCTION OF THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR NATION.

As for me……
Fight it?
Sure.
I’ll fight it.
With this Marxist insanity about to begin, the first untoward thing that happens to either or both of my parents (they’re in a nursing home – together), I’ll make the news cycle that day….. guaranteed.

You know who your Senators and Representative are.
Be polite. You can’t be persuasive if you’re not polite.

What does Johnny Mac think has been going on for almost a year now. He didn’t notice the massive Tea Party protest? We the People have been fighting, and asking the Repubs to do the same. Now he decides to fight back.

It’s for them to be polite to the people not necessarily the other way. They work for us. McCain needs to retire.

and a whole lot of other stuff..
ie: Transparency? Not so much: Stephen Hayes at The Weekly Standard on Catch and Release. The Guantanamo Recidivism Problem.
A total of 31 Guantánamo detainees have been transferred or released since Obama took office. …
And dozens more are coming. On December 3, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates told a congressional committee that more than half of
the detainees remaining at Gitmo have been approved for transfer or release–116 of 210.
The 210 detainees who are still there are not wayward goatherds. Most are known jihadists. Many of them have trained in al Qaeda camps or stayed at an al Qaeda safe house. An overwhelming majority was considered too dangerous to release during the intensive vetting at the
end of the Bush administration.
The Defense Department has now produced an updated version of Return to the Battlefield. According to four separate sources familiar with the study, the rate of recidivism is increasing. One source said there has been a “spike” in the number of former detainees involved in jihad against the United States and its allies. Another called the increase “significant” and “deeply troubling.”
But the Obama administration–despite its -self-congratulatory claims of transparency–is refusing to release it. A Pentagon spokesman tells us the latest report is classified and there are no plans to release it.]

They should not have put McCain at the end with the word “fight”.
My memories of disappointment in him and his 2008 campaign “fight with me” are still fresh.

McCain can go **** himself. He’s the moron who said during one of the debates that America would have nothing to fear under an Obama administration.
With the limp-d***ed campaign he ran, he pretty much handed our country over to that Marxist revolutionary in the White House.
Screw him.
Scott commented:
The phrase “elections have consequences” has never had more meaning. I wonder how many people who voted for Obama because they wanted to be part of history are now regretting it. The Marxists would like to thank you all.

Hey, Johnny Mac!
Maybe if you had pointed out what a RADICAL Obama is DURING YOUR CAMPAIGN instead of trying to handle him with kid gloves, this would not be happening now.
This is on your head! Sleep well. . .

Dear Senator Dumbass,
We’ve BEEN fighting it as hard as we can. The ball is sort of in your court now. At least it was, until you dropped it. Our next logical move will have to wait until Nov. 2010.

Where are we now that the Communist have taken over without firing a shot. Phone calls and e-mails don’t work, what do we do now? Every one of these senators needs a Forensic audit on their affairs. The sad fact is we were stabbed in the back with our own money. I’m sorry but I can’t help saying that nothing we can say or do will have any affect. Yeah we can vote them out of office, but the damage is done, where do we go to get our constitutional government back, the supreme court? Don’t make me laugh, they are as bad or worse than the congress. We’ve been had by stolen elections and limp wristed RINOS. John McCain can now speak since it’s too late, where was he when it counted?

Every day I have this same thought:
ACORN-we paid for it
GM- we paid for it, and they need another 5 Billion by Jan. 1
More Unemployment- we paid for it in the “jobs” bill
I could go on , but my steak’s ready.

I’ve tried calling the key senators a half dozen times over the last few days. Their voice mailboxes are all full and they have no intention of emptying them any time soon. This jam down is a done deal. The GOP screwed the pooch starting with the big government conservatism and then by completely going asleep in 2006 and 2008. They opened the door for a lying, sack of s^*t like Obama to BS the country. Now this country is SO f**ked.
What I want to know is why the GOP hasn’t been campaigning already by saying: “This is NOT over when it passes! Vote for us in 2010 and 2012 and we will Pull the Plug on ObamaCare!! Send a message to the Democrats. They have NOT taken their last vote on this bill!
Christ! What does it take to these IDIOTS to TAKE THE GLOVES OFF?
jainphx commented:
I know I’m probably wrong, but sometimes I wonder if our side just can’t or wont fight to win. They roll over in every contested election without so much as a whimper. They can’t bring themselves to call a crook a crook, no instead they call him my esteemed this or that. My G-D where is the back bone in this political party.
I’m just damned tired of playing scared, let the chips fall where they may, at least go down fighting. Does it take a woman to show you men where the bear goes in the buckwheat. John McCain is an embarrassment who only speaks up when his re-election is in doubt. Go straight to he$$ you back stabbing old fool.
Annie commented:
The only thing left is another Tea Party – even bigger and with pitchforks. I feel I’m living under a dictatorship. The vast majority don’t want it yet they’re shoving it down our throats anyway. They actually think that getting a bribe for our state is going to make it all better. What fools!!!
Auntie Em commented:
We pay our taxes, we vote, we call, we protest peacefully….we will have to live lawfully under all of these unConstitutional laws they pass…so he can shut the hell up and do something. We ARE doing our part. And unfortunately that is not enough to stop the corruption they all a part of.
What McCain and the rest of the blowhards can do is start Treason investigations. Serious ones. They need to start acting like the statesmen that founded this country. McCain should stop calling us his friends and grow a pair or move out of a real statesmen’s way.
This BS makes me sick.
chili palmer commented:
McCain is a proven loser. The GOP has the stones to trot him out when he is the one who lost our country? They are all in need of psychiatric evaluation.
Jim commented:
Uhhh, stop the health care takeover? Just what exactly does the GOP think all of these tea partiers and people attending town halls have been doing? What do they think over 1 million people were doing on the streets of DC on 9-12?
This video makes me sick! The people have been fighting this for months, while the GOP has sat on their ass, being nice and moderate like.
PATHETIC!
The day the GOP realizes the DEMS are playing for keeps and decides to grow a pair is the day we can start unwinding this mess, not one day before.
Absolutely incredible. Brain dead, tone deaf, and blind to boot.

‘It’s time for them to be polite to the people not necessarily the other way around. They work for us..’
I could not agree more.. We, the People, are not mere road bumps or annoyances on these scoundrel’s way to Utopia.. and it’s far beyond time for Republicans to fight.. put up or shut up.. time to elect fighters for our Constitution.
Sojourner commented:
The left has no intention of giving up their power easily…. State and Federal election mechanisms, ACORN, SoS Projects, et al are corrupting now.. there’s much to be thinking about and preparing for in this fight.
Franklin commented:
Is it time for civil disobedience? What would that be?
1) If you’re employed, reduce the amount of taxes taken out of your paycheck by increasing the amount of deductions. Then don’t pay those taxes come April 15th.
That’s a scary thought for someone who plays by the rules all their life. But if we all do it, we stand united.
2) If you don’t need health care, don’t pay the fine for not getting insurance.
3) Join a Tea Party.
4) What else?
Texmom commented:
I’m fine with their call to action, but they gave us no direction; no action steps that will be effective. I think they are hoping we’ll come up with something because they don’t have a clue what to do now themselves.
We need a leader the likes of which this country has never seen. I believe that person is out there. Pray he/she steps up to the plate.
