Only 17% of Nebraskans Approve of Bribes Nelson Took From Harry Reid For Obamacare Vote

Only 17% of Nebraskans approve of the bribes Senator Ben Nelson took from Harry Reid so that he would vote to nationalize US health care.
Rasmussen reported:
The good news for Senator Ben Nelson is that he doesn’t have to face Nebraska voters until 2012.
If Governor Dave Heineman challenges Nelson for the Senate job, a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows the Republican would get 61% of the vote while Nelson would get just 30%. Nelson was reelected to a second Senate term in 2006 with 64% of the vote.
Nelson’s health care vote is clearly dragging his numbers down. Just 17% of Nebraska voters approve of the deal their senator made on Medicaid in exchange for his vote in support of the plan. Overall, 64% oppose the health care legislation, including 53% who are Strongly Opposed. In Nebraska, opposition is even stronger than it is nationally.
Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman told Senator Nelson to give his bribes back to Harry Reid last week.

It’s more embarrassing how ALL Americans have been so fully duped by all facets of our government for so very long. My motto has always been “Big money; big corruption” but this is too unbeleivable for even fantasy. I feel like I’m watching a bad movie and cannot leave the theatre.

Nelson thinks its ok for the Feds to steal from the other 49 states to pay Medicaid premiums for Nebraska…What a guy, he has the heart of a chicken and the mind of a thief…

Like many Senators Nelson does not work for his constituents, he works for his party.
Considering that the US Senate has descended to the level of “the 100 Biggest Fools in America” maybe its time to revisit the 17th Amendment. At least when Senators were answerable to state legislatures they were answerable to somebody – and some of those somebodies wanted the Senator’s job!

Nelson along with Reid and every corrupt Senate cohort that auctioned off America, the unborn, the elderly and the untreated, for a fistful of dollars should be brought up on charges of bribery under articles of impeachment.

Ben’s quitting. That’s my guess. Maybe he is foolish enough to think people will forget the vote, but the truth is that the taxes are coming for four years before any benefits, so people are going to be really PO’ed.
The left is more than willing to take a step back by losing some seats for the three steps forward in the future where they will control all of your life and like the Brits and most of Europe, be elected forever by a new voting bloc beholden to their giving out favors.

I have never been so disgusted more with this POLITICIAN. Basically he blamed talk radio and threw all of the 60% plus people opposed under the bus and proclaimed that he was not pressured to vote for it and that this is going to be great for Nebraska. All of his answers were THEY (republicans) vs US (democrats). In the past on other issues, he tried to walk the tight rope to avoid that. He has dug his grave politically here in Nebraska. See ya.
