Obama Warns That Unless His Nationalized Health Care Bill Is Passed the US Will Go Bankrupt

The Fearmongerer in Chief warned today that unless the democrats pass their nationalized health care boondoggle this year the US will go bankrupt.
ABC has the video.
President Obama told ABC News’ Charles Gibson in an interview that if Congress does not pass health care legislation that will bring down costs, the federal government “will go bankrupt.”
The president laid out a dire scenario of what will happen if his health care reform effort fails.
“If we don’t pass it, here’s the guarantee….your premiums will go up, your employers are going to load up more costs on you,” he said. “Potentially they’re going to drop your coverage, because they just can’t afford an increase of 25 percent, 30 percent in terms of the costs of providing health care to employees each and every year. “
Actually, the truth is that the US will go bankrupt if Obama and democrats keep tripling the national deficit every year like they did last year.
Obama increased the national debt to $12 Trillion.
And he nearly doubled the unemployment rate since Bush was in charge with his failed Stimulus Plan.
Earlier this week Obama said Republicans “need to stop trying to frighten the American people.”

I read the same thing into this. Barack Obama is stating what he is going to do, it is a veiled threat. The man should be removed from office and tried for treason. Everything he is doing to hurt this country is intentional. He took the oath of office, knowing he is not eligible, and I used to think, if he goes too far, people in a position to do so, would force him to produce proof of his eligibility, I can’t believe he continues to get away with this destruction. I would expect it from some third world country, but I never thought, this country would ever allow someone to destroy it from within. Will they wait until the dollar collapses? Will they wait until there is another attack where thousands die? I’m beginning to think, they won’t even ask then.

The founding fathers of this country purposefully prescribed a free and independent media to objectively report to the people what those in power were doing. They were also to protect undesireable but charming characters from obtaining office in the first place.

He is talking about private-sector spending. How does it follow from that, that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT will go bankrupt?
As his track record becomes more established and proven, it would more likely happen that the rates would rise BECAUSE OF a new health care bill, and not so much without one.

This is a “teaching moment.”
The president said that the costs of Medicare and Medicaid are on an “unsustainable” trajectory and if there is no action taken to bring them down, “the federal government will go bankrupt.” He might have added “and Social Security.” All three of these are Democrat programs. Obama has now admitted that Democrats are bankrupting the country.
Why are they unsustainable? Demographics, as in the aging of the population. There are simply not enough replacements to pay taxes into the system. The present system cannot be fixed short of killing all the old people. Allow me to be politically incorrect by mentioning that through abortion we have killed 50 million potential taxpayers (and their offspring, maybe 90 million taxpayers in all). Wouldn’t that have gone a long way toward postponing –not avoiding– the day of actuarial reckoning? Not to mention all the jobs that we’ve exported to China.
If early on the politicians had been able to see beyond their next election perhaps we wouldn’t be in this mess. The truth is that America is already bankrupt, only our “leaders” are just now coming to grips with the reality of it — too late.
So where do we go from here? Certainly, what’s needed now isn’t more socialism, but common sense ideas. Any ideas?

SS went into effect approx 1935 and everyone working has paid into this since then. Medicare was enacted in 1965 and this also comes out of everyone’s paychecks (plus they pay a premium every month of approx 100.). Medicaid is paid for by the local governments and has had no money paid into it for the last 70+ years.
Since WWII we have had the largest baby boom ever in history. However this gave us also the largest working population (and tax payer base) ever. So therefore we will have the largest senior population ever. Another fact is that people are living longer.
The funds paid into Social Security and Medicare should have guarded like Ft. Knox, however I think some have been playing fast and loose with these funds.
You ask for a common sense solution, IMHO, it would be the same way that you would handle your personal budget when things go awry, stop spending, live within the budget and pay back what has been spent.
