Obama officials warned Al-Qaeda terrorists today that retaliation strikes are on the way.
Obama officials tipped off Al-Qaeda in Yemen (al-Qaida on the Arabian Peninsula) that retaliation strikes are being planned against the local terrorists.
CNN reported, via Kristinn:
Washington (CNN) — The U.S. and Yemen are now looking at fresh targets in Yemen for a potential retaliation strike, two senior U.S. officials told CNN Tuesday, in the aftermath of the botched Christmas Day attack on an airliner that al Qaeda in Yemen claims it organized.
The officials asked not to be not be identified because of the sensitive nature of the information. They both stressed the effort is aimed at being ready with options for the White House if President Obama orders a retaliatory strike. The effort is to see whether targets can be specifically linked to the airliner incident and its planning.
U.S. special operations forces and intelligence agencies, and their Yemeni counterparts, are working to identify potential al Qaeda targets in Yemen, one of the officials said. This is part of a new classified agreement with the Yemeni government that the two countries will work together and that the U.S. will remain publicly silent on its role in providing intelligence and weapons to conduct strikes.

The Nigerian terrorist’s father told the U.S. embassy in Nigeria his son was a jihadist; the CIA knew all about it and told several other government agencies; and the terrorist was even put on a list.
Since the Obama adminstration had advance warning of the terrorist’s intentions, it seems quite fair for Obama to return the favor and give and advance warning about a potential U.S. strike on Yemen.

That’s what Muslims do before attacking. They have to announce it before they do it, to give their target warning. Then they attack, and can say “well, we warned you”. It happened with 9/11, it happened with the plane bomber… just sometimes their “announcements” don’t actually get widespread enough to do any good until after the attack. Obama is just following their rules by giving prior notice.

I haven’t slept properly since seeing this insanity about 8 days ago and nobody is running with it in any main media….. yet. Not even Fox News.

This sets up our ability to strike within the country, make it appear as if the Yemeni government did it, and then say, “no comment.”
This statement forces the Yemeni government to work with us out of fear of the radicals in their midst who are now going to start going after the government for working with the infidels and using it as a rallying cry out on the street. It looks like someone is trying to start a convenient civil war to back the Yemeni gov’t into a corner.
Of course, because this statement was “leaked,” the Admin can simply deny any such thing. It’s either dumber than heck, or some crazy brilliance, the reason for which we do not yet know. Hmmm.

I too have been waiting for the interpol thing to hit but mostly I was containing my outrage because I sisn’t understand it and therefor fifn’t even really understand if I should be outraged.
The redstate article did it for me, I’m outraged.
THE only thing keeping us safe right now is our military. I can see Obama/Holder et al opening the door for interpol to weaken us further. I disagree with redstate on one thing though, Obama is not a fool, he is truly dangerous.
