I checked out the cost — thinking I might want to attend, and you are correct: It is absurdly high. For $500 of dollars, I get to “see” someone like Hannity speak — oh, and get a “grab and go” breakfast to boot? For $750, I get to see Sarah Palin speak? In my opinion, something is rotten in Denmark here: Unless this event is headlined as a “fund-raiser,” and it isn’t — then I cry foul. This event is making some money for someone — and in the name of wanting to help save America. If the “Tea Party” types are truly concerned with helping our country, why are they pricing this out of sight for many folks not making over $100K/year — especially during a time when unemployment is at ~10%? I would like to know how much Hannity is going to pocket from this event? I thought he was all concerned about our country: One might think he could spring for his own transportation, room and board — and speak for FREE? I am old enough to remember the radicals in Chicago in 1968. Do you think they charged big money to attend their training seminars? No way! The “conservatives” need to learn from the radicals — and become truly grassroots. That is my take on this event.

  10. WE’RE “Anti-intelect”, are we?

    At least we can spel.
