Leftist Socialized Medicine Expert Says Lieberman Is Willing to Cause 'Deaths of Hundreds of Thousands' By Opposing Obamacare

Washington Post socialized medicine expert claims that Senator Joe Lieberman will cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people by opposing the Democrat’s nationalized health care bill.

In a post on The Washington Post’s Web site dated Dec. 14, Klein viciously attacked Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Ct., after reports surfaced that Lieberman would filibuster the current health care bill if it meant expanding Medicare (h/t Amanda Carpenter at The Washington Times) (emphasis added).
“And if there’s a policy rationale here, it’s not apparent to me, or to others who’ve interviewed him,” Klein wrote. “At this point, Lieberman seems primarily motivated by torturing liberals. That is to say, he seems willing to cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in order to settle an old electoral score.”
In related news… The New York Post reported today that the US health care system is still the best in the world. As an example, American men have a much greater chance of surviving prostrate cancer than men in Europe. American men have a 99.3 percent chance of surviving it — far higher than in any Western European country. It’s not a death sentence here. In Scotland only 71 percent survive, in Germany, only 85 percent survive. Women in the US also have a better chance of surviving breast cancer. And the democrats cuts in spending on Medicare patients, as the House and Senate “reform” bills propose, will cost thousands of lives.

The irony: the left are the ones who want to reduce the population of the world by 90%. Their professors fantasize about it daily. The left are the ones who have been killing tens of thousands of innocents each year through infanticide. The left are the ones who IDOLIZE the likes of Mao, killer of seventy million people.
The left should therefore want this bill to fail, if they think it would lead to the deaths of tens of thousands. Either that or they know that passage of this monster would lead to even more deaths.

Hot Air linked to a HuffPo story on this last night. The commenters there were beside themselves with naked hatred. They wanted him to get sick and have his insurance cancelled. They(HuffPo-ers) wanted him stripped of his committee positions. They called him every name in the book and couldn’t contain their rage for someone who stood in the way of their power grab.
Those people were scary. In other words they were typical liberals and Democrats. It was the same sort of vitriol that has been coming from the White House and from the Congressional left for months now.
If Lieberman oppose the bill they will make him pay dearly.
We shouldn’t count that chicken until it hatches.

I seem to recall that Rep Grayson (D-Fl) said something similar and then went on to list the people “killed” by our health care system including Mr. Hugh G Rection of Dumas, Tx. Klein is just helping to prove the old adage that stupid is as stupid does.

This is what liberals do when they are failing. They blame everyone, say that they are killing people, and take no blame themselves. Democrats have supermajorities in Congress…for them to blame one or two senators is a joke. This is simply a litmus test for the level of Democrat Party incompetence.

If based on principle then Harry Reid is getting a little pay back for the way he treated Lieberman when he left the party. Another Reid miscalculation and he will end his career in government an abysmal failure.

Expanding Medicare for those over 55 while cutting Medicare is just one symbol of how bad this Healthcare bill is. Punishing people who don’t buy into this with fines and possible prison terms — death panels for the elderly and caps on coverage for Cancer patients is far from the bill most imagined when they considered Healthcare for all Americans.
I believe Congressional Dems themselves are praying that Lieberman can stop this horrific bill. Its a Political Career killer.
