Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mike Mullen attended the Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing on Afghanistan Strategy yesterday.
Senator Lindsey Graham asked the three if they felt this was the last best chance for America to get it right in Afghanistan. Hillary tried to get smart.
It backfired horribly:

For the record… Hillary was not only cocky she was wrong.
US troop deaths in Afghanistan have nearly doubled under Barack Obama’s leadership this year.
obama afghanistan
(ICasualties)
Hillary can’t blame Bush for that.

  1. Graham should have said…“Yeah right you dumb cow. It would have been nice if your skirt chasing husband accepted Bin Laden when he was offered to him by Sudan. Now stfu and stop embarrassing yourself.”

  2. hahaha… Right Hillary….. would of been nice if Billy put down the cigar, pulled up his pants and taken out Osama bin laden when he had him in the scope and only needed to pull the trigger.

    Pathetic

    roflmao

  3. Pwned. Right in the face.

I wonder, though, what qualifies Hillarious Hillary to comment about anything happening in A-stan or Iraq? I mean, what’s her actual qualification? Apart from kissing ass.

  4. It would require a “willing suspension of disbelief” to lend credibility to anything Shrillary says.

  5. And when your a$$ is huge, it’s a real b!tch having it handed back to you…

  6. Could it be that the terrorists up the aunty due to they knew that the Man Child Obama has no fight in him and the democrats don’t have winning in their vocabulary.

  7. We did not elect a competent president of the USA and obama did not appoint competent advisors, assistants or anyone capable of behaving like a rational adult human being. And that is what we will have to deal with for the next three years. Hillary attended a college in MA that people sent their daughters to to make “good marriages”….she failed. She latched onto her ticket in Yale, rode his coattails to where she is now and that is ALL she is. Obama treats her with open contempt (sort of like Bill does)and I expect more ugly episodes in our future. This is a group of incompetent pirates staging a raid on the USA…..I hope they fail.

  8. The Democrats stand for failure. They stand for ZERO.

  9. I wish to God that Hillary would bust a nut and jump off this sinking ship for her own good. Not that I would care anything about anything she ever had to say, but it would be the first time in her life she ever did anything on her own. I still have hope (and knowledge) that Billybob will toss the mulatto mendacity to the side when he gets his balls back from shillary.

  10. IMO, we’re not going to get anywhere, until everyone in America realizes that when a Democrat speaks they are going to be wrong.
Once we get to that stage, America might have some chance of surviving.

  11. It is really sad and definitely hilarious that Lindsay Graham is continually handing these incompetents their a**.
He effortlessly embarassed Holder and now Hillary. Hello Mr Obama are you witnessing how incompetent your “team” is.

  12. So BJ should have killed bin Laden, then there would have been no 9/11. How quickly they forget.

    You pegged it, J.

Eric, wake up and look at the Clintons–abysmal mistakes at everything they’ve ever tried to do except con people. Hillary and Bill have too much dirt on each other to split.

Clinton never had a surplus–it was a “projected” surplus. His wife spent 8 years trying to get paybacks. Democrats and RINOS have laid waste to our republic.

When the voters have their say, let’s hope the votes are cast for fighters willing to finish the revolution that’s begun in our streets.

I’m sure those almost 3000 souls would be glad!!!! Think before you put your foot in it.

  15. I can’t make out what was being said in the first few seconds of the video clip. Can someone enlighten me as to what HRC was responding? What was Graham saying to her?

  16. This is one of the few reasons I’m glad Lindsey G. is still in the Senate.

First witnessed this ability of his – and really liked him – when I saw the damage he was inflicting on Bill Clinton years ago.

Hillary’s got to remember those days and is probably still steaming.

  17. He’s got a psychological problem, one day he’s like this the next his nose is so far up their ass and voting for them he cant smell the smell he better make up his mind and fast. If I were his constiuent he would have lost me long ago, although I do enjoy seeing him on days like this.

  18. and to steal from someone else from the subject of jobs, that chart looks more like the climate change hockey chart they were trying to push off on us than what climate change probably looks like in reality. But democrat and reality are like oil and water. Thank you all for your sense of humor. As a former gal from Missouri living in KS make my day in the morning to come here.

  19. Hillary is wrong, of course.

Yes, troop deaths have doubled under Obama — but Obama also doubled the number of US troops there since Bush left office.

It’s funny that he’s accused of dithering in Afghanistan when he’s already put more boots on the ground there than Bush ever did. The numbers don’t lie.

I give him credit for taking the war in Afghanistan more seriously than the beloved Bush did.

  20. Special thanks to Gateway Pundit for pointing out the increase in deaths in Afghanistan — it calls attention to the increase in troops that Obama is responsible for in Afghanistan as Commander in Chief.

    December 22, 2008 Myth 4:

The war in Iraq caused us to “take our eye
off the ball” in Afghanistan and with al Qaeda.

    Reality:

Iraq and Afghanistan are two fronts in the same war, and while the success of the surge in Iraq has been visible, we have also had a quiet surge in Afghanistan. The U.S. has continuously and aggressively fought side-by-side with Afghans and our allies to defeat the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The United States has provided nearly $32 billion for security, political, and economic development assistance and the international community has provided more than $55 billion to Afghanistan since 2001.

An additional U.S. Marine battalion deployed to Afghanistan in November and they will be followed by an Army combat brigade of about 3,400 troops in early 2009. U.S. forces now total approximately 31,000, and are joined by nearly as many coalition troops. The United States and our allies are working with Afghanistan to help it nearly double the size of the Afghan National Army over the next five years, from 79,000 now trained to 134,000 in 2014.

We have also deployed Provincial Reconstruction Teams to ensure security gains are followed by real improvements in daily life, and we have helped local communities strengthen their economies and create jobs, deliver basic services, improve governance and fight corruption, and build or repair key infrastructure such as roads, bridges, hospitals, and schools. More than six million children, approximately two million of them girls, are now in Afghan schools, compared to fewer than one million in 2001.

In this Global War on Terror, we do not have the luxury to fight on one battlefront at a time. To defeat the terrorists, we must fight them overseas so we don’t have to fight them here at home. Since 9/11, we have successfully captured or killed dozens of al-Qaeda’s senior leadership and hundreds of al-Qaeda operatives in two dozen countries, removed al-Qaeda’s safe-haven in Afghanistan and crippled al-Qaeda in Iraq, and disrupted numerous al Qaeda terrorist plots against the U.S., including a 2006 plot to blow up passenger planes traveling from London.]
