Harry Reid: We've Made Great Progress & Lost Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs (Video)

Dem Majority Leader Harry Reid brags about what great progress the democrats have made after he rattles off how many hundreds of thousands of jobs were lost this year:
The Obama unemployment rate is at a record 10.0% nearly twice the average of the Bush years.
The US unemployment spiked from 7.6% to 10.2% this year under Obama… the highest rate in 26 years.

Obama promised his stimulus plan would create 3.7 million new jobs.
Instead America has lost 3.6 million jobs.

Still a few things you have to work out huh, Harry ? Well, I thought this “most ethical Congress ever” would have had it ALL worked out by now. You guys keep “working things out” the way you have, and their won’t be any jobs left at all. But don’t worry about us peasants Harry. As long as you guys are okay – with your $millions$ in the bank, and health care that we peasants pay for…….retirement plans, and cost of living increases. Harry is getting as much free face-time as possible, what with a very serious challenge to his senate seat waiting for him back in Arizona. This is all free publicity….and pumping the moveon.org line makes him look good with the folks back home. He’s campaigning; pure and simple.

Obviously Reid thinks losing hundreds of thousands of jobs is great progress, so what exactly does he think great progress is anyhow? Has anyone actually thought that perhaps Reid wants America to lose hundreds of thousands of jobs?

Apparently it depends on the definition of “create”.

The chart shows a truth that democrats try to hide. Democrats took control of congress in Jan 07 and their first budget took effect on 1 Oct 07. Notice the disaster that immediately followed, but we can’t complain since they bragged/promised in 06 that if elected they would reverse the direction of the country. Reverse from up is down, down, down. Someone should show them how to get in another gear. ‘R’ is not for race.

That IS their “progress”. The idea is to make enough people broke, out of work and desperate they’ll accept even Communism. Of course Reid brags about it. Everything is going according to plan and soon those prideful Americans will yield to their betters. FDR prolonged the Depression by seven years until Americans finally accepted his ‘New Deal’.

Ah crap, 0bama and I have been a disaster. The war is lost and America sucks. But, let me give you some figures.
The math is a little fuzz. We promised to spend your money to create 3.7 million new jobs. But, after hiring 42 Czars, 300 plus consultants and billions sent to ACORN and SEIU, governmental Administration and Over-head to write those checks, there was not much money left. The economy tanked and the 0bama Administration shed 3.9 million jobs from the workforce.
But, look at the bright side. I am still getting a large check from the Federal Government. I have my government health care and my limousine. That shows there is some economic employment – how ever small and inefficient.
Some people would suggest that I be removed from the Federal Payroll before I do more damage. I have a better idea. Why don’t you let me create a new and bigger spending package to get us out of the economic depression that the old spending plan created?
Yes, I knew you would feel that way. Quit throwing rotten vegetables at me. I will have you know that my limousine is vegetable proof. Good day. I am gone.

Like he cares. He doesn’t give a rat’s a$$ about elections. The ‘will of the people’ is so last century to Reid and Zero and Pelosi and all the other Demorons. What they want is a situation where they don’t have to lower themselves to standing for elections and having their inferiors passing judgement on them, something like what the EU has now. That’d be perfect for Reid et al, no elections and a well paid lifetime job doing the important work of telling lesser people what to do with their lives. Tombstone of the Republic
