We’re all socialists now.
Democrats passed their unpopular nationalized health care bill today.
The vote passed without a single Republican voting in favor of the legislation.
The AP celebrated the historic vote:
Senate Democrats passed a landmark health care bill in a climactic Christmas Eve vote that could define President Barack Obama’s legacy and usher in near-universal medical coverage for the first time in the country’s history.
“We are now finally poised to deliver on the promise of real, meaningful health insurance reform that will bring additional security and stability to the American people,” Obama said shortly after the Senate acted.
“This will be the most important piece of social legislation since Social Security passed in the 1930s,” said Obama, standing with Vice President Joe Biden in the State Room of the White House.
The 60-39 vote on a cold winter morning capped months of arduous negotiations and 24 days of floor debate. It also followed a succession of failures by past congresses to get to this point. Biden presided as 58 Democrats and two independents voted “yes.” Republicans unanimously voted “no.”

So many deeds of treachery culminate in the senate. Shine, perishing republic.

Boy. For such a wonderful, magical, ‘cost-saving,’ “free” bill, it sure cost a lot in taxpayer money and in slimy Chicago-style corrupticrat bribery.
2010. Adios, Obamacrats.

With this vote, the Democrats have officially kicked off Operation Scorched Earth.
Despite what the headlines are telling us, there was nothing historical or earth-shattering about this morning’s vote – quite the opposite in fact.
You give me a bucket with a billion dollars in it, and I could buy off enough senators to pass a law mandating the wearing of propeller beanies on Tuesdays.
Saint commented:
Well, now the fight changes to getting the bill recognized as unconstitutional, as well as trying to get each senator who voted for it booted off the senate.

I believe the word we’re all looking for is “nullification” on the state level. It’s happening right now:

‘There are no moderates.’
With this thinking, it is easier to see that even with Islam, there are no moderates, because Muslims always stick with other Muslims as opposed to sticking with infidels, even if Muslims have no problem killing each other off.
