Chris Matthews: Cheney Is the Bath-Tub Ring of the Bush Administration

The cheap shot of the week goes to Chris “Tingles” Matthews.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney dared to confront Barack Obama this year after his constant attacks against the previous administration and for that Matthews called Cheney the bath-tub ring of the Bush Admnistration.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Those soldiers of the right over at Human Events magazine came out today with their Conservative of the Year Award. They gave it to the bath-tub ring of the Bush administration himself, that residue of eight years that won’t go away, Dick Cheney.

Dell said it best: ratings. In a fleeting effort to defibrillate meatless left wing programming, Matthews and Olberdink are giving train-wreck TV a try. Perhaps the withering duo feel youtube hits somehow have an impact on ratings. Unfortunately, the re-runs are the only thing viewers are interested in watching.

The “tingler” has noticed his ratings tanking and doubles down on being a twit.Since Cheney is not seeking office his message on the performance of the one has struck a positive chord with many Americans.The only recourse is to demonize the messenger .The only problem is his audience has slipped and he is preaching to a shrinking choir.

I wouldn’t be impressed by Cheney if he talked to people like that all of the time but there are situations in which some people need to be told exactly that. That was one of those situations and people.
