Breaking: Al-Qaeda Takes Responsibility For Detroit Terror Attempt

Al-Qaeda takes credit for Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s attempted plane bombing.
Jveritas at Free Republic reported this breaking news:
“Al Falojah” terrorist forum just posted ten minutes ago a press release from “Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula” (Yemen and Saudi Arabia) where they adopted the terrorist attempt on the plane in Detroit on December 25 2009.
The thread on “Al Falojah” terrorist forum is # 97593 the author of the thread is “Mourasel Al Fajr” who is the official Al Qaeda press representative on Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist forums.
The Detroit News added:
Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula has claimed responsibility for the attempted attack on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Christmas day, saying it was retaliation for a U.S. operation against the group in Yemen… The group said the would-be bomber used explosives manufactured by al-Qaida members.
Just yesterday Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano said,
“Well, right now, we have no indication that it’s part of anything larger, but obviously the investigation continues.”
Guess she was wrong about that, too.

Al Qaeda is wasting there time. Janet napoleon is never going to take the word of a terrorist, it’s all “hearsay” she needs more proof before she will label it a conspiracy.
1. Umar Farouk already claimed he was sent by AlQaeda, DHS doesn’t believe him.
2. Al Qaeda claims Umar Farouk does work for them, DHS doesn’t believe them.
3. The attack used Al Qaeda supplied explosives, DHS suspect possible lonewolf.
4. Suspect originated from Yemen (Al Qaeda base in Africa) , DHS suspect coincidence.
No one in the government wants to label a terrorist a terrorist. They will only blame Al Qaeda if they have a picture of Umar with Osama Bin Laden receiving his terrorist graduation school certificate.

Maybe Al Qaeda is the Democrat Party — or the extremists of the party. Sudan offered bin Laden to Bill Clinton, ‘ I’ll side with the Muslims and bomb the Christians form the air” (1999) Kosovo war, and he said I cannot take him, he has done nothing wrong. Atlas Shrugs has pics of the International Action Center protest in Time Square (Free Palestine). Muslims holding signs saying “criminal Jews did 9-11″ and Israeli flags with footprints all over them. Dept. of Homeland Security should be swarming all over a protest like this looking for kooks like that but instead these Muslims will be overlooked in the name of political correctness and free speech.

DHS and TSA are totally incompetent….Janet has already said she doesn’t believe this is part of a larger terrorist effort. AQ is providing them everything they need to prove they are behind this, yet DHS is still incompetent. This makes me furious…my in-laws will be flying in the next day or two and I’m worried for them. Umar himself has said there are more terrorists…what is DHS doing to prevent more of these attacks? I wouldn’t trust them to provide security for my dog.

Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the Northwest bombing in a Monday statement that vowed more attacks on Americans.
American officials agreed to send the two terrorists from Guantanamo to Saudi Arabia where they entered into an “art therapy rehabilitation program” and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.
Guantanamo prisoner #333, Muhamad Attik al-Harbi, and prisoner #372, Said Ali Shari, were sent to Saudi Arabia on Nov. 9, 2007, according to the Defense Department log of detainees who were released from American custody. Al-Harbi has since changed his name to Muhamad al-Awfi.

They were released on Bush’s watch, so, finally, here’s something they can blame on Bush…but only if, knowing this now, they don’t let another knuckle-dragging jihadi or jihadi wannabe out the gates of GITMO. They can’t blame Bush while doing exactly the same thing he’s being blamed for. Oh, hell, what am I saying? of course they can; they have before. Nevermind.
