Liberal democrat Blanche Lincoln now trails four Republicans in her home state after voting to open debate on Obamacare.
During the debate to open Obamacare Lincoln said government is too big to fail then went ahead to vote to make it bigger anyway.
Ony 18% of Arkansas voters strongly favor Obamacare while 56% strongly oppose it.
Rasmussen reported:
Senator Blanche Lambert Lincoln has found herself right in the middle of the national debate over health care, and that’s a tough spot as she prepares to face Arkansas voters in 2010.
As she did in September, Lincoln trails four possible Republican challengers in the latest Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 survey. In fact, support for the incumbent ranges from only 39% to 41% in these match-ups.
The two-term senator, who was reelected with 54% of the vote in 2004, appears more vulnerable because of her visible and pivotal role in the Senate debate over health care. Lincoln was the last Democrat to vote for allowing the debate to formally begin, and she has taken pains to point out that a vote to begin debate is not a vote for the bill.
Looking at the data, it’s easy to understand Lincoln’s concern. Against all four Republicans, she leads by wide margins among those who favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. The senator even leads by a wide margin among those who Somewhat Oppose the legislation. But among those who Strongly Oppose the health care plan, Lincoln trails every potential Republican challenger by more than 50 percentage points.
The really bad news for Lincoln is that 56% of Arkansas voters Strongly Oppose the congressional health care plan. Just 18% Strongly Favor it.

We need to get to the point that a VOTE for any Democrat backed bill/nominee is going to be seen as a HUGE barrier for reelection of any politician-no matter which party they belong to.

No need for her to worry. ACORN will steel enough votes for her to win.
BackwardsBoy commented:
She should be kicked out of office for her support of this piece of terribly bad legislation. The GOP should target her loudly and strongly for ignoring the wishes of her constituents, and her district should replace her with someone who is more responsive to their will.

Living in the state of Arkansas I have battled this woman constantly. I e-mail her, write her, call her…..and she ignores me and every other person in this state that does not have a democratic liberal bent.
I have even voted in democratic primaries for her opponent trying to unseat her.
NOW it looks like the time that I will be rid of her. And I am so looking forward to having someone in the Senate from this state that LISTENS to the people of this state.
Good bye and good riddance. 2010 cannot get here fast enough.
And of course I need to get rid of my congresscritter Vic Snyder, another knee-jerk democrat
Next to go is Sen. Mark Pryor….
Clean house time

As President Barack Obama’s election attorney, Robert Bauer staunchly defended ACORN against political attacks, sought investigations of political opponents and pressed TV and radio stations to stop running ads critical of the Democratic nominee.
…… MORE ….. ACORN …

If this happens their will be violence unlike you’ve never seen when people vote. People have had enough of this band of thieves, known as the Obama regime, and everyone tied to it. Their not going to get away with it this time!

We need a massive push for valid voter registration identification if we are to hope for a valid election in 2010. THIS needs to be our immediate focus, IMO.
Who ever would have imagined the threat of banana republic style elections would occur in the U.S.?
Ginger commented:
And….we need to get rid of the fixed electronic voting machines. Remember they carry viruses. Remember New York recently? Everyone going in and coming out of the voting places when ask needs to say they voted Democrat. hahahahahaha

Rosemary’s right (#11). Keep pounding away at the recent history of voter fraud, the measures that have allowed it and the need for ways/new laws to prevent it.
And never forget ACORN, no matter what new disguise they take. The 2010 election will be here before we know it.
So long as any amount of corruption is allowed, our rights and freedoms are in jeopardy.

No ID, which is state law, was required for early voting in the 2008 election in North Carolina. I asked why but received no answer. Just a head shake. I though then and now the whole 2008 election was a farce and a waste of time on my part.

Blanche Lincoln: My best argument that, next year, both houses of Congress will flip to the GOP….and by biblical-scale margins.

I pray you are right that Lincoln, Snyder, and all the rest of the Democrats who are voting for this monstrosity are thrown out of office.
I pray also, that CONSERVATIVES are elected who will stand up and be counted as americans first – not politicians. We must take back our country. The time is very short.
Please do not vote just for “republicans”. Some of the ‘republicans’ who have been elected under that name have been as bad as the Democrats. Remember Jim Jeffords? Arlen Spector? Both elected republicans, both are liberal democrats. The name doesn’t count – its the record that counts and the character of the person.
