The Obama White House still believes in non-existent global warming.

The 2009 hurricane season just ended with zero hurricanes.
The Hill reported:
The White House on Monday made exceptionally clear that it wants nothing to do with the furor over documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon is not a threat.
Despite the incident, which rocked international headlines last week, climate science is sound, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stressed this afternoon, and the White House nonetheless believes “climate change is happening.”
“I don’t think that’s anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore,” he said during Monday’s press briefing.
Climate change skeptics have asserted over the past week that the publication of more than 1,000 private e-mails and documents once housed in the University of East Anglia’s computer system refutes most modern global warming evidence.
The planet has been cooling down since 1998.
For the record… The White House also believes if you talk nice Iran will give up its nukes.

Of course climate ‘change’ is happening. But AGW is not.
Imagine if in the run up to the invasion of Iraq a hacker exposed emails from the CIA showing the data was cooked would support from Congress and the people have allowed it to happen ?
So why is the President even going to Copehagen? Any further action by the iron fist in the Green glove is nothing more than a power takeover and wealth transfer. It has nothing to do with an energy problem whatsoever.
Apparently fossil fuels weren’t causing all that much of a problem yet we sit on all the energy many generation will need. A shortage is every bit as fake as the temperature data.

I don’t know where you all live, but where I live, it’s quite obvious that all the vegetation is dying. The trees dropped their leaves a month earlier than normal this year. Why? Maybe, all the toxic chemical emissions we are spewing into the atmosphere that interfere with photosynthesis and the ability to produce chlorophyll?
Anybody notice that the power companies are going crazy cutting down branches because they are falling at crazy rates? Anybody notice that the tree lines are shrinking, and you can see through the woods further than ever before?
Have you heard that NY, NJ, and CT departments of AG have all declared states of emergency because crops have failed?
Do you understand that poisonous volatile organic compounds produced from burning fossil and biofuels are killing long-lives species like trees and shrubs, and also annual and aquatic plants?
Ideology is about to succumb to reality. Just look around you!

Robert Fibbs forgets what Obooboo said on April 27th speech to the National Academy of Sciences….On March 9th, I signed an executive memorandum with a clear message: Under my administration, the days of science taking a back seat to ideology are over. (Applause.) Our progress as a nation — and our values as a nation — are rooted in free and open inquiry. To undermine scientific integrity is to undermine our democracy. It is contrary to our way of life. (Applause.)
That’s why I’ve charged John Holdren and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy with leading a new effort to ensure that federal policies are based on the best and most unbiased scientific information. I want to be sure that facts are driving scientific decisions — and not the other way around. (Laughter.)

it’s called CLIMATE CHANGE, it’s something that has been occurring on
our ever evolving planet Earth since it’s supposed Bing Bang conception..
too bad you weren’t around for the plates splitting,
continents dividing, Dino’s and the cavemen, etc..
i can’t even begin to imagine what’s gone extinct

yes, we need to clean up our pollution act..
however, it has nothing to do with Global Warming/Cooling.. as both were
occurring (to greater degrees i might add) long before industry ever made
it’s dictionary debut..
and/but yes, we are going through a man-made crisis, just not the one
you’ve been led to believe in, it’s called the Global Warming Swindle..

In my 64+ years I’ve detected climate change…and lots of it. Very cold Winters; wetter than “normal” Summers; terribly bland foliage in the Fall; tons of mud in the Spring….and then, the very next year, everything seems to change. This very frightening climate change is what we, in Northern New England, call NORMAL.
Some years are sunnier than others; some years are wetter/drier than others; some years we get ten feet of snow, other years only eight; are you starting to see a pattern here?
A scientist I’m not. But, I damned sure aren’t stupid enough to think that it’s warming to the point where I can do any swimming in the outdoor pool this Winter….or any Winter any time soon!
And ya know what? I’m guessing similar climate change activity takes place where you live too.
That makes it “settled science”. Please send me a check for a half million or so dollars, please?

Of course they still believe in glowball warmening. It has never been about “saving the planet”, it has always been about consolidation of power and the transfer of wealth from the european nations and the Anglosphere to the “third world” which means most of it would end up in the people facilitating the fraud’s pockets.
Now you understand how the Rev. Al Gore became a billionaire while emitting more “greenhouse gases” then many third world nations with his mansions, limousines, yachts and private jets.

re: [Al Gore]
al-Gorge; the world’s first carbon billionaire; hmmm hmmm hmmm
[One of Gore's investment that is poised to pay off royally is Silver Spring Networks, which produces hardware and software designed to make the electricity grid more efficient. Kleiner Perkins invested $75 million in the company to help it team up with local utilities to install smart-grid meters. Gore and VC titan John Doerr, a Google co-founder, joined the company as unpaid advisers.
It was a wise bet for Gore and Co. Last week, the Dept. of Energy said that $560 million of the $3.4 billion in smart grid grants it had approved would go to utilities which have partnered with Silver Spring, setting the company up for a major jackpot in coming years.
"Silver Spring Networks is a foot soldier in the global green energy revolution Mr. Gore hopes to lead," Broder writes. "Few people have been as vocal about the urgency of global warming and the need to reinvent the way the world produces and consumes energy. And few have put as much money behind their advocacy as Mr. Gore and are as well positioned to profit from this green transformation, if and when it comes."]

Interestingly, Gail’s post will probably be the basis for the “new” focus of the Green-Reds. “Global cooling…er Warming…er Climate Change will give way to the “Toxic chemicals, fossil fuels, pollution, dangerous for crops and trees, etc” Mark my words, this will be the next evolution. “Warming, cooling, it doesn’t matter. Toxic fossil fuel is what matters”, they’ll say.
It will be back to the 70′s in more ways than one. Remember when Jimmy Carter was emboldening Iran and Islamic terrorists around the world, destroying the US economy, and the hippies were talking about “pollution” non stop? It’ll be just like that.
BigKahuna commented:
The only change Barrack Insane Obama will make that liberals will like is changing the name from Global Warming, to Global Climate Change and soon to be Manmade Global change in Pollution since then nobody can refute it by showing fake science. It will then be a constantly moving target that will never be eliminated but will be used to pick our collective pockets clean. Kinda like the War on Poverty. and dont bother bringing up statements the ONE has made in the past. When your a liberals you can never use anything against them. They just say something new and youre supposed to believe that until they tell you different. On top of that if they are so damned worried about Global warming and carbon footprints.( yeah I know they dont give a rats behind) why dont they all meet via AlGoreythms internet and video hookup. The truth is they are all the biggest hipocrits we have and are the worst polluters we have. They are the evil rich polluters. If they would all simply off themselves we could save one heck of alot of carbon for the rest of us to use. Better yet Tell them all they can shove my carbon footprint up their a$$. We dont neeed another complicated made up derivatives trading bubble that makes a bunch of traders and con artists rich that kills the rest of the economy. Obama please go straight tooo well lets say Norway and stay there with your Noballs Peace prize. We will be fine without you, your teleprompter and Meechelle and her bare arms.

We got a cost estimate for solarizing our house – about 2700 sq feet – very average size.
The conversion cost? $60,000.
Yep. Up front $60,000. And will not pay for itself before replacement required. The only way it pays for itself before replacement is IF electric prices are artificially set HIGHER. But that means a bigger monthly expense for energy, no matter what.
But, the hopeful solar guy said, “ONLY about $25,000 net AFTER tax credits.” Huh?
Now our neighborhood is pretty much $300,000 homes which are now NOT selling even at $200,000, with several at $120,000 just sitting there.
NO ONE has $60,000 up front to go solar. VERY VERY FEW in this area will qualify for a $60,000 LOAN for a $180,000 house and no job.
How about $8,000 up front to solarize ONLY the WATER HEATER? Not gonna get to “tax credits will make it ONLY $4,000.” NO MONEY.
ANd the loan makes for interest costs – again means MORE EXPENSE every month.
So, ya’ll know what this means? Everyone here is STRUGGLING to make ends meet right NOW, and will be HIT with punitive electrical costs increases meant to punish them into solar – an EXPENSIVE upgrade they cannot afford.
It’s VICIOUS taxing!
We are going to see people burning WOOD – cutting electrical usage to Third World levels, no money for punitively-taxed heating oil or propane.
COAL AND oil are CHEAP and ABUNDANT and 100% BIODEGRADABLE and are used to make HUNDREDS of USEFUL products apart from just gasoline and such fuels.
Absolutely fraud artificial shortages by government decree. Nasty nasty CRUEL as all get out. This despicable energy plan is going to HURT millions of people – actually PHYSICALLY HURT them.

Van Jones still advising White House
[Jones is one of twenty advisers to the University of Colorado-based Presidential Climate Action Project, or PCAP, which draws up climate policy recommendations for the White House and has been working with members of the Obama administration.
The PCAP last September released a lengthy proposal to guide the environmental policies during the first 100 days of the 44th U.S. president regardless of whether Obama or Senator John McCain won the elections.
William S. Becker, the PCAP’s executive director, confirmed to WND his group is “about to propose a new and more assertive strategy for President Obama to raise the bar on the U.S. climate goal, with or without Congress.”
Becker told WND his group’s initial proposals have received a “very positive reception from the moment we delivered (the 100 day proposal) last November to John Podesta, co-chair of Obama’s transition team.”
“We continue to work with some colleagues inside the (Obama) administration, as well as continuing to push for bold action from
the outside,” he said.
Becker said the White House “adopted quite a few
of our recommendations or variations of them.”]

NOAA: Global Surface Temperature Anomalies.
NOAA: One of the most remarkable aspects of the paleoclimate record is the strong correspondence between temperature and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere observed during the glacial cycles of the past several hundred thousand years.
James commented:
I have no doubt the carbon and other gases we spew into the atmosphere contribute to warming of the atmosphere, but so far our contribution is dwarfed by natural forces such as the sun and volcanism. How else can one explain a cooling climate from about 1940 to 1980 and our temperature stabilization since 1998?
The cheapest way to counterbalance our contribution to warming is to release more chemicals like So2 which have a cooling effect. It would be bad for down wind trees, but it would “save the planet.”
The purloined e- mails expose human caused global warming for the fraud it is. We are witnessing an attempted power and financial grab of world- wide proportions. Climate change and saving the world are the vehicles designed to take us to the third world.
I support conservation and alternative fuels, but I believe the best way to achieve our goals is from the bottom up. Create incentives and rewards so entropenuers will enrich themselves while creating the “brave new world” environmentalists so desire.
