The Public Policy Polling reported tonight that conservative Doug Hoffman is leading Democrat Bill Owens by 15 points in a head-to-head contest.
Here are some interesting facts from our unweighted numbers so far:
-In a three way contest Doug Hoffman leads Bill Owens by 19 points. In a two way contest Hoffman leads Owens by 15 points. So the Dede Scozzafava withdrawal and endorsement will probably tighten the race some but not nearly enough.
-58% of Republicans think that Scozzafava’s a liberal and that was obviously before her endorsement today.
-The Rush Limbaugh effect- Hoffman has a 79 point lead with Rush listeners while Owens has a 6 point lead with people who don’t listen to the show.
More… The PPP also has Christie leading Corzine by 6, 47-41 in New Jersey.
UPDATE: Country star John Rich will headline the Watertown “get-out-the-vote” rally Monday night for Hoffman.

So is Dede a DNC plant or RINO?

Hey, they just sent students to the “GAY RIGHTS MARCH” in D.C. – NO JOKE!
After Obama, anything is possible.

Dagget needs to do the honorable thing and exit NOW. Otherwise he’s a complete narcissist rather than patriot. Why continue to play the Ross Perot and drain votes away? There is no honor in that at this point.
Oh, and, GOP, when are you going to learn with your RINO endorsements? Dede better be your last.

take it with a grain of salt. it is just one poll. Though other polls from lamestreet media are skewed the other direction. Rassumsen is the most reliable poll.
I think they both have an edge but it is smaller than these numbers. Who knows, its not like the media is going to report anything close to accurate. They inflate their own numbers to give the perception of winning despite the reality (Alinsky rule).

Doesn’t the GOP know that not all of us like country music?
Stephen commented:
These three races, if they all lead to Dem defeats, the healthcare bill will be history. The Blue Dogs spine of loyalty to the hard left will melt like wax, and they will run around the world to avoid it, as they would know that supporting such a measure, or even staying associated with it would lead to certain defeat in 2010.

I am happy to see that the people may be responding to the stimulus provided in the last Presidential election. We, the rightful owners, may be able to fundamentally change America back to the origional country it once was.
Now that is change I can believe in. I hope it happens in every election in 2010.
Nothing better than to turn their words against them.

The RNC vetting process needs a tune-up — And a whole lot of principles. This just shows what the real problem is.
Beck pointed it out long ago, the games are played, but what’s best for America never seems to make it into the equation.
Tell me three things that are good for America, or the American people in the Democrats government rationed healthcare bills … Just three,
Bill Mitchell commented:
What I am saying is that these polls DO NOT reflect the true outcome. As a matter of fact, they drastically OVERSTATE Democrat support as it is far easier to anwer a phone poll than to take hours out of your day to go vote.
I think that the Republican base is VERY charged up and the Democrat base is VERY depressed. I think these will be epic blowouts.
My only concern will be the millions fraudulent absentee ballots cast for the Dem candidates.

Scozzafava or Hoffman?
WHO WOULD STALIN PURGE?
Kevin commented:
Wasn’t dear old Joe saying in another thread “wait until Tuesday!!!”? Yeah Joe here we are at Tuesday- nearly- and every Dem candidate appears to be going down to epic defeat.
Stay in denial Dems. That light you see isn’t the ‘light worker’ but the Conservative Juggernaut returning to America full force.
You couldn’t leave well enough alone, you had to try to remake a country in your twisted image that didn’t want or need to be remade.
The adults are on their way home, and you best start cleaning up the place if you know whats good for you.
