Disgusting… After Dithering For 2 Minutes Obama Finally Gets Around to Discussing Ft. Hood Massacre (Video)

After two minutes of smiling, pointing and dithering… Barack Obama finally got around to mentioning the massacre at Fort Hood in Texas.
The president then went on to tell the audience what great admiration he has for the men and women in uniform…
Except, of course, for those serving in Afghanistan who he refuses to support.

I’m pretty sure it was without TOTUS. I tuned in to listen to his address about the massacre (because that’s what the caption said on the TV) instead he hemmed and hawed and was clearly struggling to put a complete coherent sentence together – he was not successful. He had a great deal of difficulty creating the illusion that he gives a crap. He is a disgrace.

I saw that too. What impressed me was how quickly he pointed out how tough it was on him to be responsible for the welfare of the military. Tears came to my eyes. Like he was the first president to realize it. What a moron.

Bush was at least presidential. He got the first message and was very cool about it. He didn’t jump up in front of the little kids, scare them and the teachers to death running off wailing “OMG! OMG!”
He was in Florida, not downstairs WH. He wrapped it up quickly without being obvious he was presssed to leave and went right to cancelling the rest of it.

We are suppose to be about SMALL government and PERSONAL FREEDOM. Having the government tell you what religion you can be or outlawing some religions is NOT freedom and it is unconstitutional.
If people want to be gay, let them be gay. If they want to follow any religion (or no religion) I say let them as long as they don’t act out in violence or break laws. Personal freedom is what made this country so great. When conservatives stop wasting time with such issues and get back to ones that matter, they can and will move forward.

This wasn’t the first attack on soldiers this year. Do you all remember a few months ago when a soldier was gunned down in front of a Little Rock recruiting station? I didn’t hear much outrage or concern from Eric Holder, Homeland Security or the FBI on this matter…or the MSM. Didn’t these groups give cursory statements that this was just a rare shooting by an individual who happened to be a Muslim? Perhaps it was random?
Is this open season on soldiers? What do the shooters have in common? Hhmmm…I can understand on one level what #31 is stating, however, how many soldiers need to die by those espousing Islamic hatred before these terrorists are found and incarcerated? How much hate does one individual have to spew before he/she is detained?
Be realistic, not politically correct here…if a group or individual is making hateful statements, then perhaps action should be taken against that group or individual. Heck, statements made by tea partiers are now deemed terroristic by Homeland Security. Let’s look at their statements…I believe the majority of the tea party statements are not hateful, but merely against this administration’s policies. And you have the audacity to opine that Muslims shouldn’t be placed under the same scrutiny just because they are Muslims? Could you please explain to me why one group is singled out for possible terroristic tendencies but another group is given a pass for its rhetoric? Do you think it could possibly be because one group opposes the grand scheme Obama has put in motion and the other group is under his administration’s protection?
If the FBI is going to be politically correct and not deem this is a terrorist act, then perhaps he should be prosecuted under the hate crime legislation. This is ridiculous. If, in fact, this man posted suicide bombings on the Internet as reported, then he IS a terrorist.
You know what is a terrorist organization? Our own government when it refuses to even protect our own military, stationed domestically and on foreign soil.
Could someone who has FBI experience respond and explain to me exactly what constitutes terrorism? What is the meaning of “is”? Is this where we find ourselves today?

My wife and I were watching the Fox News coverage of the shootings and heard that “we” were waiting for President Obama’s response. When he began to speak we stared open-mouthed at each other – unable to believe what we were hearing. It was a truly bizarre moment. This man and his staff have no sense of his office. Wonder what the Indian fellow- of the Nation – a decorated U.S. veteran thought about the “shout out” to him when his soldier brothers were under seige – in their own country.
Obama acted like he was on a cheap talk show. Many many of our Indian Nation veterans are so incredibly patriotic and proud of their military service you feel milktoast-inadequate in comparison to hear them speak so deeply about protecting America, but Obama constantly shows that Leftie Identity politics attitude of his – trying to shallowly flatter a guy thinking his Native Indianness trumps his love of his country and his Army.
Obama could have opened the thing with the grave news, invited the man up to come and stand with him as an honored, decorated man of battle, to symbolically represent the soldiers of our great military at that moment, and been, well … presidential.

Due to poor connection/bandwidth speed, I can’t watch the clip. On TV today, however, Obummer said, “…I’ve ordered the flags at the Capitol to be hung at half-mast…” Firstly, duh. Of course the flags at the Capitol are flying at half-mast today as per military-established flag protocol, no order from the prez required. And secondly, are we to conclude that by giving this unnecessary “order” to follow flag protocol Obummer just fixed the whole mass murder at Ft Hood crisis and so now we can focus our attention on matters of greater importance, such as how wonderfully marvelous our Idiot In Chief is?
