Senator Harry Reid and the Democrats bought off Senator Landrieu’s vote for their nationalized health care plan for $100 million of your money.
How does that feel?
ABC’s The Note reported:
What does it take to get a wavering senator to vote for health care reform?
Here’s a case study.
On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”
The section spends two pages defining which “states” would qualify, saying, among other things, that it would be states that “during the preceding 7 fiscal years” have been declared a “major disaster area.”
I am told the section applies to exactly one state: Louisiana, the home of moderate Democrat Mary Landrieu, who has been playing hard to get on the health care bill.
In other words, the bill spends two pages describing would could be written with a single world: Louisiana. (This may also help explain why the bill is long.)
Senator Harry Reid, who drafted the bill, cannot pass it without the support of Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu.
How much does it cost? According to the Congressional Budget Office: $100 million.

Harry is a traitor to the country!
He’s also a disgrace to the LDS religion!
If I saw him on the street today it would take all my energy not to slap the hell out of him!

That goes for Senator Landrieu too!

I am truly saddened by our once great nation. Unfortunately, I feel as though there is tremendous shortage of character in not only government, but our Country as a whole. Keeping this Constitutional Republic is our responsibility and we are allowing it to dissolve.
The ‘elected’ officials that have the great privilege of serving the people are easily corrupted and no one seems to care. There is evidence of this corruption at every turn and yet no one seems to care. Taxpayer dollars are being thrown into the furnace and no one seems to care. Well, I care. And I intend to make a difference.
Make no mistake, we are at a crossroad. The fight begins now. Our living, breathing Constitution was drafted and shaped by a room full of men with character, guts and passion. Stand up for what is right, ignore the lunacy and forge a new path. The road ahead is uncertain and sure to be challenging. Fight for what you believe in and never give up…
(While I understand this rambling may not seem applicable to the original post, I assure you it is quite relevant. With one perversion of power after another, I feel our only option is to take a step back, look at where we are and focus on where we need to be. Our nation needs an organized effort to rebuild. We can do this…)
Goodnight.

Keep in mind, that $100,000,000 is all we KNOW about. It probably took more than that to buy her off, because frankly, $100 million doesnt guarantee her job. They probably also promised her all sorts of cushy jobs embezzling from Fannie Mae or somesuch

“The Democrats are bottom feeders.” they appeal to the weakness in human nature. when you make an exception to doing what’s right because the government is providing something and “everyone else is doing it”. like
drug dealers who are your friends until they’ve hooked you……..

OH, and Leftist women? The same govt panel that decided to “revise” your mammogram schedule has just decided that Pap smears are not needed as often, either. Are you willing to watch your daughters die of cancer because these people want to control the healthcare system? These recommendations are a reversal of practices that have reduced cancer deaths in women by half over the last few decades. Is Barack Obama so wonderful that you will gladly suffer the pain and horror of death from cancer to please him? I guess so. Or maybe you don’t think it will be you, just some evil Republican women like Sarah Palin?
How about if Republicans keep getting the yearly screenings, and Democrat women switch to following the government panel recommendations? Since Democrats trust the government to handle their thinking for them, we could compare breast and cervical cancer rates between the political parties after a decade or so. Funny, that I doubt you could convince many Democrat women to play government-sponsored Russian roulette with their OWN bodies, or those of their children! But they are certainly rabid to impose the government upon OTHER women!

SOON is NOW. If this Death Bill passes (and we all know in our hearts it will) that’s the death knell of the nation. Its passage will prove that they shall do “what they wilt” and we will like it (or at least go along with the program without any more resistance than venting behind our keyboards!)

When you get to make the laws, you get to decide what is – and isn’t – a “crime”.

Apparently Sen. Landrieu does not want to hear from her constituents today. I just tried to visit her regional office here in Baton Rouge with my 2 yr old in tow. This was after getting a busy signal all morning. I was turned away by security. He told me that there was only one employee working at her office today, and she left for lunch at 11:00 am and would not be back until after 12:30 pm. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I will never vote for Mary, Mitch, or Madeline Landrieu again.

She responded yes, for a million dollars she would have sex with him. He responded Unfortunately I don’t have a million dollars but now that we have established what you are let’s negotiate a price.
Senator Landrieu’s price is $100 million.

It’s amazing that you can buy a US senator and the American healthcare system for less money than it costs to buy a good pitcher. CC Sebastia cost the Yankees $60 million more than Mary Landrieu cost the dems.
