Columbia Prof Smacks Female Colleague in Face During "White Privelege" Debate

Time for another beer summit?
A prominent Columbia black prof smacked a female colleague in the face during a “white privelege” discussion.
The New York Post reported, via Jammie Wearing Fool:
A prominent Columbia architecture professor punched a female university employee in the face at a Harlem bar during a heated argument about race relations, cops said yesterday.
Police busted Lionel McIntyre, 59, for assault yesterday after his bruised victim, Camille Davis, filed charges.
McIntyre and Davis, who works as a production manager in the school’s theater department, are both regulars at Toast, a popular university bar on Broadway and 125th Street, sources said.
The professor, who is black, had been engaged in a fiery discussion about “white privilege” with Davis, who is white, and another male regular, who is also white, Friday night at 10:30 when fists started flying, patrons said.

These days, the only “privilege” for white folks is the “privilege” to move to the back of the opportunity line behind every “minority” defined by the doctrine of Cultural Marxism.
I MUCH prefer for ALL to be judged — not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. It was a lovely dream. But, we were instead — quite deliberately — led to view EVERYTHING through the lens of every manner of class distinction imaginable.
And, most of those who led us astray call themselves “professors”.

Nothing good is happening right now, and I feel that it all was preventable. Let us hold on oh LORD until we take the country back. You see we protested in Washington 2.1 million strong, there was the tea parties, the e-mails and phone calls, but they still don’t listen. This is the discouraging part and sometimes down right disgusting.

I hate to say this, but my first reaction was “Of course he’s a black elitist. I could tell by his actions. He had a choice between hitting a white girl or a white guy. He chose to hit the girl. The other way may have led to him experiencing a little pain and discomfort. Something mouthy lefties avoid at all costs.

Liberals are the nastiest of creatures. They cannot debate without spitting, they cannot have an honest argument, because they know they will lose. So, they get angry, and they become violent. I have seen it many times while opposing the peace activists in our local town. I belong to a group who supports the troops, and we rally across from their weekly protest. The men are the worst, they come right up in your face to harrass you especially if you carry a sign saying that Victory is The Answer (their cute little signs say “War is not the Answer”) or any pro-troop message. There was an actual incident where one of these so called “Vets for Peace” punched a videographer who was filming the two sides. He was arrested on assault charges that day, as was another of his comrades- for resisting arrest.
The other way they play dirty, is to write letters to the editors which are full of lies about their opponents (or supposed opponents) but which have their intended effects on the people they malign, before it can be retracted.
How funny they are still so angry, when they WON, there is a democrat AND a black man in office. How sad for their small minds, that they cannot fathom that conservatives are against the policies of this president (and congress) and it has nothing to do with his race!

In looking at these comments it saddens me to say that I have lost faith in the intelligence of [some] white people. Your capacity for intellectual discourse has seemingly diminished with the election of a black president. Maybe the correlation is that his win the white house has aggravated a passion in you to become more verbal. This is the same kind of dumb outrage that would have gotten someone hung 50+ years ago, by a crowd with a gleam in their eyes. Mind you I’m not saying all conservatives are racist, or at least not all conservatives vocalize their racism, but certainly anyone belonging to a racist group is more likely to claim conservative values. It was an argument on a sensitive subject. I won’t try to guess what could have been said or through some sort of ridiculous feat of osmosis tie this in with Obama. We just know that the Professor got angry enough to raise his hand to another person, which he was arrested for justifiably. Yay!
Had it been a white professor slapping a white female over an insult about the size of his “junk”, another sensitive subject, he may well have been arrested also, but nobody would have heard anything about it.
Of course had it been a white professor slapping a black female associate… he’d have gotten his liver stomped out and it would have made national news.
Still we need to cease sensationalizing race, and making assumptions like some of the statements I see posted here. It makes me wonder how some of you even figured out how to turn on the computer.
