22,000 are attending the the 2009 National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City, Missouri this weekend.

My sister brought some students from southern Iowa to conference. Today thousands of young Catholics marched in downtown Kansas City. David Muenchrath sent this photo from the parade.

The catholic church always goes along with whatever government is in power at the time. Look at Germany and Russia.
You’ll hear nothing out of them when this bill passes both houses. They could care less.

22,000 – wonder if the MSM will report this. Probably not.

Thanks for covering this GOOD NEWS story, Jim. And kudos to your sister for bringing kids to the conference! The youth are our future. I hope to see hundreds of thousands of ‘em at the March For Life in January!!!!
AuntieMadder commented:
Chuck, I thought cheese-heads wore cheese on their heads. Yeah, I know cheese is made from milk, which comes from cows (among other sources). But still, I thought folks from WI wore cheese hats, not cow hats.

I want to congratulate and encourage these young Catholics. We were at the March for Life in DC for the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and at least 90% of the crowd was Catholic and about 90% of THEM were under 21. There IS hope for our future and maybe, one day, with God’s continued Grace, abortion will go away because no one’s willing to pay Planned Parenthood, et al, to kill babies, and this means that the US government will also have to stop giving them millions to offset their annual losses. When abortion becomes a losing proposition, it’ll end. Sadly, this will bring about an end before the conversion of HEARTS in America drives a stake into the heart of the Abortion Vampiries.
