On the other hand… Senator Joe Lieberman says he will oppose the Baucus plan.
American Enterprise Institute reported today that about 87 percent of the revenue in the original Baucus proposal to finance Obamacare would come from individuals with incomes of less than $200,000.
Of course, this surprises no one with any beginner’s knowledge of history.
UPDATE: The Senate Finance Committee voted to send its version of the nationalized health care legislation to the Senate floor after months of closely watched deliberations. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) voted for the bill. The democratic legislation will cost American families $1,700 each year.
