Say it ain’t so?
Sarah Palin has decided to sit down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey even though Oprah refused to have her on her show during the election.

Oprah said she wanted to keep her show free from politics so she campaigned for Barack Obama and offered to produce his half hour TV special for him.
And, of course she came unleashed after he won.

The AP reported:

Sarah Palin is going to sit down with Oprah Winfrey.

Harpo Productions announced Tuesday that the former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate will appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday, Nov. 16.

According to Harpo, the interview will be Palin’s first about her new book, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” and it will be the first time Palin and Winfrey will meet.

1. Bad decision on Palin’s part but that is just my opinion.

2. Agree with olm. You play with snakes, you will get bit.

3. Palin will sit down with Oprah.
Obama will sit down with Ahmedinijiad.
Obama will not sit down with FOX.

Palin is strong.
Obama is weak.

4. “Keep your enemies closer” as they say. I think it’s a good idea for Oprah’s audience see what Sarah is really about. She’s smart not to hold a grudge like a 6 year old.

6. Hi Marty, Pu44y boy. When did Palin say she could see Russia from her home.

She didn’t Marty pu44y boy. Typical of the cowardly LIBTARD, you need to perpetuate a lie, to make yourself feel like a man.

Prove me wrong Marty. I’ll wait.

7. Oh dear Marty pu44y boy!
You have some ‘splaining to do son.

>>”They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”>>

Oh dear Marty oh dear.

8. Nixon would take this with a grain of salt, as until Palin’s people confirm it, it is merely speculation.

9. I think this a great idea. If she is truly going “rogue” she needs to go where the people that dislike her are. She has to win hearts and minds. She must go to liberal venues as well.

10. I think I’ll just wait and see what Mrs. Palin has to say to the head cheerleader for the fraud in the White House. She just might unload on her the way she needs to be unloaded upon!

At least Sarah Palin is brave enough to walk into the lion’s den; that’s more than we can say for the entire Democrat party, which is afraid to get close to FOXNews! MoveOn.org has the petition out now….All fearful libtards sign up.

11. Will the interview be edited? Will the entire interview be shown not cherry picked. Sarah needs to set her own demands regarding interviews, we all know how the left loves to spin.

12. I can’t wait til she appears on The View and slays those lyin ho’s like the Huntress she is!

Go Sarah!

13. I admire the lady for her courage and also her smarts in knowing she has to gain some support from Oprah fans, mainly ladies, to have any chance in future national politics. I do hope that Oprah will be fair in her interview and presentation thereof.

14. Heh, can see Russia from her house.. LOL

Guess the Republicans should have fact-checked that SNL skit too? Oh yeah, they get satire.

The thin-skinned ones don’t get it. It’s all a personal attack.

Get over your entitled selves.

15. I agree with you Jayne, editing came to my mind immediately. She really does need to lay down some rules before sitting down with snakes. I have mixed feelings about this, I applaud her for having the nerve to do it, at the same time, I’d like to see her snub Oprah. I just hope this doesn’t turn out to be an unwise decision.

16. This is one reason I’ve come to hate the Party I once embraced. **** you Republican Party, I’m going Independant. Why in the world would Sarah Palin be such an idiot and go on this show is beyond me. All Oprah is going to do is attack Sarah, and true to form, Sarah’s going to be a lap dog for the Liberals. Nothing good can come out of this interview. Here’s how it’s going to go down:
Oprah “Ok, so Sarah, how’s the book?”
Sarah “It’s doing well”
Oprah “Ok, so how could a stupid backwater woman such as yourself ever hope to be President?”

This comment went to spam because of foul language. I removed the vulgarity and released it, this time. Please remember the filters.

17. It’s entirely likely Sarah will show Oprah – and Oprah’s messiah – how a person of faith and character behaves.

Our nation needs good, strong leadership in that regard.

We’re in a free fall at the moment. And the ground is getting dangerously close.

18. Okay. How far is Russia from Alaska. It’s 2.5 miles from Little Diomede Island, Alaska to Big Diomede Island, Russia.

Across the Bering Straight, it is 55 miles from Cape Prince of Wales, Alaska to Cape Dezhnev, Russia.

19. Oprah is a racist, elitist pig from the Chicago thug-mafia. Just like Michelle Obama.

They had the world handed to them for free and couldn’t be any angrier about it.

20. Sarah will most likely charm the O and score political points at the same time. This is a win win and I will watch though I cannot stand Oprah. At least the success of her book pre-sales cannot be attributed to this appearance. Hope she has her family in tow as I would love to see them, too.

21. Palin has the strength to go into enemy territory.
Meanwhile back at the WH the crybabies want to eliminate the opposition a la Alinsky.

Oprah is obnoxious though. She is always interrupting her guests.

22. O and that video makes me want to vomit.

23. Marty, Marty Marty. Why did you try to spread a lie? Why Martypoo?
a) Dishonesty
b) Ignorance and bias.
c) Libtardism??

24. This is one reason I’ve come to hate the Party I once embraced. **** you Republican Party, I’m going Independant. 25. Come on guys. Either Sarah is a strong woman or she’s not. I think she is. I also think she is an intelligent woman who realizes the risks and not being a coward, she will confront her adversaries. She deserves more support than I have seen from some of the posts here.

26. “She deserves more support than I have seen from some of the posts here.”

I’m through supporting a fool who won’t learn her lesson. This is a train wreck waiting to happen. What can Sarah possibly hope to gain? Oprah has from now until then to sharpen her knives. Sarah’s all “Oh look, a Liberal wants to be nice…how cute. I’ll be nice too”. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

27. And another thing. I am sick and tired of you fly by night republicans whose only response to anything with which you may not agree is that you are leaving the party. Well good riddance.

You are probably one of many who decided to sit out the 2006 elections. You sure taught everyone a lesson didn’t you?

28. Palin going into Oprah’s den of iniquity? What could go wrong? Palin should avoid Oprah like the plague.

29. I hope it is not true.

30. She’ll do fine. This is her way of expanding her support.

She has to engage the other side, sooner or later, preferably sooner.

I’m pretty sure she’ll have supporters in the audience.

31. This is the future of the party (ABC News/Washington Post poll)

Only 20 percent of Americans now identify themselves as Republicans, the fewest in 26 years. Just 19 percent, similarly, trust the Republicans in Congress to make the right decisions for the country’s future; even among Republicans themselves just four in 10 are confident in their own party. For comparison, 49 percent overall express this confidence in Obama, steady since August albeit well below its peak.

The Republican Party’s difficulties are shown in another result as well; in an early assessment of preference for congressional candidates in 2010, the Democrats lead by 51-39 percent.

32. I’m through supporting a fool who won’t learn her lesson.

She has to engage the other side, no? You can’t fear them either…sure, there may be some unfair questioning, but she’ll have to face that if she wants to move forward. If she sticks to her base, she can’t ever possibly win. Even Obama went on O’Reilly.

We don’t even know if she’s running yet. This could be her way of testing the waters, so to speak. Give her a break.

33. The Republican Party’s difficulties are shown in another result as well; in an early assessment of preference for congressional candidates in 2010, the Democrats lead by 51-39 percent.

You mean to tell me that with the record deficits, failed stimulus, near 10% unemployment rate, people will still vote Democrat?

What poll is this? What’s the sampling?

34. I’m with you Richard. But what strikes me as telling is the number of people here who are afraid of the state-run media types. And their lack of faith in a woman who they think should run for president.

35. We’ve seen Sarah Palin as many things since she became a candidate for vice president, but this book tour will be the first time we see her on her terms saying what she believes. I hope she is what she seems to be, but time will tell. Oprah isn’t going to be her biggest trial, being herself and sticking to her own beliefs will be. The Oprah interview might be a moment of clarity or it might be a chop job. Let the discourse begin.

36. Hey Martin:

http://hotair.com/archives/2009/10/20/wapoabc-poll-uses-skewed-sample-to-show-public-option-support/

Looks like the sampling of that poll you referenced is very skewed, and to the left.

Nice try though.

37. “And another thing. I am sick and tired of you fly by night republicans whose only response to anything with which you may not agree is that you are leaving the party. Well good riddance.”

I’ve supported this Party for YEARS. Even through the 90′s when (R) had control. What did they do? They did everything they could to make sure they rolled over for the (D). Remember Gingrich? Remember how he *ussed out and resigned? Let me tell you, I can leave this Party if I so choose, and I’m not a “fly by night Republican”. I’ve supported them through thick and thin. And what have I gotten in return? A bunch of pansies and losers who cower at the sight of a Liberal. Maybe you should re-examine how you support these clowns. McCain GAVE the election to obama. He didn’t even try. He stomped out in anger over the stimulus bill, but then put his tail between his legs, came back and voted for it. I don’t need it. And I certainly don’t need self righteous people like you telling me how the cow eats the cabbage.

38. Oprah, if she is smart will be careful how she treats Sarah. Oprah’s ratings/viewership numbers are dropping. If she is unfair to Sarah, more people will be turned off of her and her show.

Also, if Oprah goes for the throat, it will be clear that the left still sees Sarah as a real threat, yet there will be plenty claiming that she is irrelevant.

Either way, more people will read her book and be able to see the other side to the story.

39. In an exchange between Jake Tapper of ABC and Chief Propogandist Robert Gibbs today, Gibbs admits Fox is not a legit news organization because of the opinions expressed by Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1009/Gibbs_opinion.html

40. I’m not a huge Palin fan, but this makes sense. I’ll bet there are alot of women that watch the show that look up to Palin but still watch Oprah inspite of her blatant democratic leanings. This is a great way to advertise her book. Also, Palin has the chance to convince others that may be sitting on the fence about whether to buy/read her book. Seems to me the exposure couldn’t hurt.

Secondly, I have a hard time believing that Palin will not “stick to her beliefs.” She’s come this far and hasn’t changed a bit. I don’t think she’s going to change for Oprah.

41. That’s okay, The Obama Administration is not a legit executive branch because of the opinions expressed by Anita Mao Dunn, Rahm Emmanuel, David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs.

That’s my opinion.

42. Richard Romano

She’ll do fine. This is her way of expanding her support.

She has to engage the other side, sooner or later, preferably sooner.

Exactly. The press will still do everything it can to tear her down, so what better way to show she’s not afraid than by parachuting right into the Queen Bee’s hive? We need to accept the likelihood that Palin won’t be able to run for office herself, because her brand has probably been ruined, but she can certainly be a force within the party.

And Americans love comeback stories, so she just might be able to turn around the public perception of her that imbeciles like Martin have.

43. Marty continues to show himself to be a pathetic lying pu44y. Marty you tried to spread a lie, and I called you on it.
What’s the Marty pu44y not MAN enough to own up to your dishonesty?
Palin said:
“They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”

You spoke of eyesite and carrots Marty pu44y.
You’re a libtard coward Marty. And you know it.

44. Latest Rassmusen Generic Congressional Ballot, national telephone survey. 42% would vote for a republican in their district vs 37% for dems. Independents favor republicans 40% to 23%.

45. Hey Martin, that poll was severely skewed. Not that you’d let facts get in the way, but hey. I expect nothing less from people who would believe a poll from the Always Barack Channel.

Cap-And-Trade For Babies?

[An environmental writer mainstreams an idea floating around the green fringe — save the earth by population control and give carbon credits to one-child families. Are we threatened by the patter of little carbon footprints?

It's long been a mantra on the left that people are a plague on the earth, ravaging its surface for food and resources, polluting its atmosphere and endangering its species. Now we are endangering its very climate to the point of extinction. Even the result of our breathing — carbon dioxide — has been declared by the EPA to be a dangerous pollutant.

Treaties like Kyoto and the upcoming economic suicide pact to be forged in Copenhagen have focused on the instruments and byproducts of our civilization. Now the focus is shifting increasingly to the people who built it.

[..]

This brave new world is not too far-fetched for science adviser John Holdren, who has advised taking population control to quite another level. He has at various times advocated forced abortion and sterilization and views people as a burden, not as the ultimate resource, as we do.

In a recently rediscovered book, “Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment,” co-authored with Malthus fans Paul and Anne Ehrlich, Holdren wrote that families “contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children” and “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility.”

Holdren envisions that a “Planetary Regime might be given responsibility for determining the optimum population for the world and for each region and for arbitrating various countries’ shares within their regional limits … the Regime would have some power to enforce the agreed limits.” In other words, China on steroids.]

dang, albeit probably went “poof” already, sure wish i could find that video about how “Green Government aka: Climate Change aka: Global Warming” will be central to the New World Order..

We’ll find out soon enough whether the electorate will accept higher taxes, higher energy costs, nationalized health care, Iran ascendant, a dead dollar, no credit extended by banks, a jobless “recovery,” an enemies list that includes Fox News, and a Department of Justice that refuses to prosecute those connected to Obama.

Exactly! Either she’s for real, or she isn’t. If she isn’t, let’s find out now.

54. A live audience setting is fine. Sarah Palin has an engaging personaloity, the audience is mostly women, she can talk carpoolling, hockeymom, family, son inthe military, Special Needs son, a daughter she loves who as Obama sagely put it, “Messed up,” all the trials and tribs of working woman/mother life, but they’re dealing with it in a family, loving way…the connect is potentially HUGE. Sarah is cutting out the middle men media, going straight to the people. Millions of women will hear Palin talk, without being edited and parsed.
Sounds sensible.

55. Governor Palin is good at turning pundits predictons upside down. I’m waiting to see what happens. She is one of those people for whom convential wisdom doesn’t apply.

56. Sasja, I see your point, but what’s the use in supporting a faux Republican Party? It’s high time they show US support. I’d like to see some agression. I don’t see that support from the (R).

America was created out of poverty and gives every person the ability to come out of poverty, it is a warm story, but warm stories do not make people heros. Palin is a strong woman and I hope she schools Oprah. Palin 2012.

66. I sure wish Sarah wouldn’t play footsies with the devil…bad decision.

Okra must need a ratings boost.

67. WTH? Palin can go to Oprah but, can’t go to a Tea Party? Can’t show up to campaign for Conservatives? Can’;t show up at all?

I hope this story is not totally true as I am a Sarah Palin fan. But, is this is true, I’m about two steps from telling EVERYONE.. FU!

69. The tea party folks don’t want Republicans co-opting their movement. They’ve said so many times. And ALL the Republicans in the close upcoming races have told Palin they don’t want her to campaign for them.

While some of us like her, most of the country doesn’t. That’s a sad fact, but it’s a fact. Her favorable ratings are much lower now than ever before.

71. Greg, bite me. I disagree with her decision to go on oprah’s show, and somehow you extrapolate some psychobabble crap out of that to make yourself feel significant.

79. LOL!

Oprah is having her on during November sweeps.

I find this rather interesting because all TV shows want the highest ratings they can possibly get during that time.

All one has to do is look at the ratings for the Oprah show since she came out and bowed low to the Obamao to understand that she needs a good sweep period here if she wants to keep her show on the air. The ratings for her show have dropped like a rock since she became Obamao’s cheerleader and BFF. One more bad book for that show and the TV stations that carry it may decide to either move the show to a less desirable time slot or drop it altogether because it is no longer the cash cow that it has been for the last couple of decades.

One would think that if Obamao was doing as well and is as “beloved” as the MSM would like us all to believe Oprah would have her BFF The First Clydesdale on or maybe Obamao hisself.

The only solution I know is to get involved from the ground up. If all the tea partiers will attend their GOP precinct meetings, we will be a majority and can have a major voice in GOP policy. In Oklahoma I’m looking at increased attention to our 10th Amendment / state sovereignty law, electing a governor and attorney general who will duke it out with the feds, and pursuing things like Arizona’s recent law exempting the state from Obamacare. We’ve got to push back before we’re completely run over.

As for SP, if the Oprah show is live it’s a good move. If not, I’ll hope SP has some pretty stringent controls in place to prevent a recurrence of the Couric / Gibson fiascos.

85. Gateway Pundit! I love your new address, as you are now “neighbors” with my favorite internet pundit (the Anchoress). If Sarah is able to carry this off well, it will be a boon. She can win supporters in a new audience, and do so with dignity. Oprah may also stand to benefit, as I do recall her ratings and cache have plummeted since the Chicago dump by the IOC as well as the being associated with the increasingly weak Obama administration.

I think a gracious, fair, and informative interview by both ladies would be helpful to them both, so I have good hope.

I can’t WAIT to read your opinion on the interview. :)

87. Dr James David Manning calls lesbian Oprah “The Great Whore of Babylon”… lol

I don’t like Oprah and never did…. something about her I can’t stand. But I am sure glad that Sarah is going to her show.

Your country needs strong people like her… not RINOS. Sarah is not a moderate, centrist, bi-partisan, politically correct idiot. She stands strong on her values and will not compromise like RINOS. You need more like her.

88. Greg, bite me. I disagree with her decision to go on oprah’s show, and somehow you extrapolate some psychobabble crap out of that to make yourself feel significant.
You wouldn’t be projecting something from your own life would you?

No, I just have sense enough to know the difference between expressing my opinion and expressing an opinion that claims to better thabn Sarah Palin. You call it psychobable, I call it arrogance.

89. Tired fingers!

No, I just have sense enough to know the difference between expressing my opinion and expressing an opinion that claims to be better than Sarah Palin’s. You call it psychobable, I call it arrogance.

90. Hi there my American friends!

You have to realise that this time, during the interview with Oprah (if she indeed decides to show there) Sarah will be uncomparably better prepared and fully capable of controlling the narration of the show.

With her ability to learn fast and her photographic memory, she will have at her disposal much bigger arsenal of fact and knowledge of the details than during those unfortunate meetings with Curic and Gibbson.

Today we know that those both inteviews were organised by her campaign manager (forgot her name) who proved to be an Obama’s supporter and who deliberately set Sarah up to show her in a bad light. This was along the smear campaign (like that farce with clothing) for which that woman (but McCain indirectly as well) was responsible.

Today, Sarah has at her disposal much stronger and loyal team of advisors, she is probably reading with furious intensity and (as I stated above) she will set the condition on which she will appear on Oprah’s show.

Oprah, on the other side will agree to anything to boost he failling ratings.

Sarah, understandably, is a bit quiet now as she is extremely busy with making finishing touches to her book.

However once she is free from that, we shall se her unleashing her full potential.

Appart from that, if she indeed thinks about running for the highest office, she has to be prapared for ABSOLUTELY THE WORST.

The bile and poison that the American Communo-fascists are going to spit on her will be uncompareble even with the tratment Reagan received during his campaign.

God bless Sarah Palin! God less America!

91. About 15 years ago I pointed out in an email to a friend that the “Harpo” in Harpo Productions was “Oprah” spelled backwards.

His response was “Harpo communicated profoundly while remaining silent. That’s another thing Oprah got backwards.”

That still hasn’t been improved upon…

92. It will be interesting to see how Oprah reacts to the orders from her master. Maybe she will obey maybe she won’t. She has enough money and clout to do what she wants. The outcome may be a pretty good indicator of the future of this administation. If the high profiile advocates start to bail things may change for the better through paralyisis. Altough Sarah’s politics are probably an athema to Oprah maybe sisterhood will prevail.

93. Being a huge Sarah fan, I always hope she will knock one out of the park — but for the life of me, I can’t imagine why she is starting with Oprah. Then again, I imagine she is down-to-earth enough to handle Oprah. I truly can’t imagine Oprah being as underhanded as Couric. And if Sarah is allowed to be herself, I’m certain she will charm everyone, including Oprah. It is just so….. MAIN STREAM… and we know how the “main stream” has treated her in the past. But she has a book to sell, and she has an image to correct, and she has a middle America appeal, so perhaps she’s hoping to reach out to Oprah’s audience. Can’t hurt, but it is a strange place to begin if she has a serious political career in mind. We’ll see…

Being a huge Sarah fan, I always hope she will knock one out of the park — but for the life of me, I can’t imagine why she is starting with Oprah.

A recent National Enquirer stated that Oprah feels betrayed by the Obamas, because they never followed through on their promise to find a place for her in the administration. Also, Michelle Obama is said to hate Oprah.

I can’t find the links, but Oprah recently declined twice in an interview to restate her support for Obama, claiming she was once again apolitical, and then she said that the government does too much. Individuals need to help themselves and not depend on the government.

These Chicago loons are all about petty feuds. I wouldn’t put it past Oprah to promote Palin in order to get back at the Obamas.

95. By the way, is there any way to insert a “preview” function in the comments?

96. Obama the Graceless

Bush will be Obama’s eternal foil.

Republicans need
n’t trouble themselves to nominate a presidential candidate in 2012. No matter what, Pres. Barack Obama will be running against George W. Bush.

Bush will be Obama’s eternal foil. At this rate, when Obama writes his post-presidential memoir, it will be titled: An Audacious Presidency, or How I Saved America from That Bastard Bush. His presidential library will have a special fright-house wing devoted to Bush’s misrule. He will mutter in his senescence about 43, like the Ancient Mariner about his albatross.

97. I dislike Oprah Winfrey as much as the next guy, but I cannot honestly say that I have ever heard her say anything hateful about Sarah. I don’t remember seeing her say much of anything about Sarah. I know she was upset when Sarah did the interviews with Lauer,Greta and Blitzer, but that’s the worst I can recall. Just because Winfrey is friends with Obama doesn’t translate into hatred for Sarah.

I think it’s a good move by Sarah. She HAS to reach people in this audience. This audience is full of people just like her. I think Winfrey will treat her warmly and with respect and this will transfer positively over to the studio audience and the audience at home.

Remember, the mainstream media has never given Sarah this kind of exposure. A lot of people have never seen who Sarah Palin really is. Just the caricature that the MSM has created. This is their chance. When they do, a lot of them will come to love her.Look at this as the introduction of the real Sarah Palin to 50% of America.

I also would like to see her go on the Regis show and the Rachel Ray show too but to avoid the View at all costs. There is nothing to gain by going there. No late night either, except maybe Craig Ferguson who had her on once when she was not well known. Can’t you just see her cooking up some Mooseburgers for the studio audience?

98. I’m usually not so blunt but……screw Oprah.

99. I think it’s a mistake. Oprah will try to make her look like an idiot. I hope she’s up to it.

100. ++

uh-oh, what’s with the line?? :D

==

101. Lots of reasons to go on Oprah.
1. Show the contrast between Obama and the White House being afraid of going on Fox News.
2. If she can’t handle Oprah, then she can’t handle Putin. I’m betting on Sarah.
3. Oprah’s show is not edited. Big difference between that and the network news interviews that were edited in such a way as to make her look stupid.
4. Go where the voters are. She especially needs to pick up her numbers among women.
Can’t find a better place than Oprah for that.

Sarah is fearless. And she’s ready. Better to start with Oprah, the president’s buddy.

Reminds me of Coach Vince Lombardi’s philosophy of attacking the other team’s strength. When you break that, the team falls apart.

Go Cuda!

102. It is likely that most viewers who watch Oprah really do not like Palin. The liberals already hound her about everything she says or does not say.
What’s the worse that could happen? What, the people who hate her hate her more? It matters not at all what she does to them. The left will find something or twist something or completely fabricate something as that is what they do.
Christ did not hang out with the popular. As a woman of faith she also does not necessarily do what is popular. She does what she believes is right.
She is going to shine a light in the darkness. That is the proper role of a Christian in this world. Those who can it see will. Those who can not never will.

103. It is all about ratings.

104. Sarah Palin and Oprah may be discussing a new diet and exercise program for Oprah. She needs one and Sarah Palin is in fine physical shape, so she can help Oprah!

John DeFlumeri Jr

105. I hope Sarah lays out OprBozo.

Maybe Palin can say to OprBozo.

Look you rich tub of lard, I’m poor because I help society, while you eat almost 2- 3 countries worth of food a day, while complaining that the poor people like me are bad people and mentally unstable.

106. At first, I didn’t think that it was a good idea at all. But then, I started thinking about Oprah’s audience. Even with a drop in her audience, it’s still huge – and it cuts across all socio-economic lines. And it’s mostly women – and a huge number of them don’t know anything about Sarah Palin other than what they’ve been spoon-fed by a hostile media and democrat operatives.
Those women are going to get a chance to see and hear Sarah for the first time; and a lot of them are going to think to themselves, “Wow. She’s not what I expected! She’s not at all like what I’ve been told. She’s for real.”

They’re going to not only see Palin in a new light – but they’re going to realize that they’ve been lied to by the media and democrats. They’re going to see that Sarah is a human just like them who has the same worries and problems that any of them face daily.
Not all of them, of course – but I’ll bet on a substantial number going through some heavy mind-changes.

All Palin has to do is be real – be herself – and let people see who she is.

.
.
.@Martin — I can smell the flop sweat of fear on you from here, marty. You see that your little tin god is dropping like a rock – and that people are losing faith in him and in the democrats in general.
Change is coming, marty. REAL change — and there’s not a thing you can do to stop it.
You and yours are scared, marty – and with good reason.

I love the smell of libtard flop sweat.
It smells like………………..VICTORY!!

.
The only good communist is a dead communist.

107. I don’t watch Oprah, but will watch her interview Sarah Palin. The snide comments about Oprah are really uncalled for, in my opinion. Her politics are not my politics, but she is a highly successful businesswoman and knows she’s going to get lots of viewers for this. I bet she will be alot more fair than Couric and Gibson were (of course, the election of The One won’t be on the line with this interview …).

Okay. How far is Russia from Alaska. It’s 2.5 miles from Little Diomede Island, Alaska to Big Diomede Island, Russia.
………….
And don’t forget the Bering Straits Webcam! With that, EVERYONE in America can see Russia from their front porch or living room couch.
The media and the education systems has tried very very hard to be sure Americans would not know their geography or history. Alaska WAS Russia 150 years ago.

And another thing. I am sick and tired of you fly by night republicans whose only response to anything with which you may not agree is that you are leaving the party. Well good riddance.

What makes you think “8″ really is (oh sorry, was) a Republican?

111. ….and italics don’t work?

test

(Let’s see if bold does.)

112. No. Drat.

113. last test using UBB code.

114. Fail. Grumble.

115. My italics worked earlier.

116. Did you use the “i” within brackets or the “em” html code?

Another test using “em” html code.

117. …which failed. Oh well.

118. Sarah, do not cast your pearls before swine. You hear me? I wrote to your campaign managers telling them not to let you do interviews with couric or gibson and lo and behold within a couple weeks there you were. People are out to trick you even fatso oprah.
Oprah was never poor. Her dad was a businessman who owned a barbershop. That was big in those days. Michelle obama put oprah up to this to take Sarah down. Michelle and oprah are tight. And to the person who said “most of the country hates Sarah” Wrong!
If that were true she wouldn’t be on the best seller list before her book even reaches the shelves. Yes the left doesn’t like her because they get their info from the fringe media of abc and nbc and cnn. Listen Sarah, call oprah at the last minute, like a day before the show and cancel. Leave her in the lurch. Let them call you a quitter all they want. When they see you running for president and packing in the crowds without rock bands and free beer and hotdogs to lure the crowds they’ll have to admit otherwise.
Oprah is a two-faced liar and God doesn’t like people who are two-faced. Oprah says all her nasty things behind closed doors and will never say it in public. She is the great pretender. Just like the obamas she pretends to be someone she is not. When she dies she can’t take all her money with her and God certainly doesn’t want her because she already has gotten her reward on earth. You people are pathetic. All your name-calling and party politics is what got this country into the jam it is in now. We are Americans, period.
Sarah, why sit down and chat with a gluttonous racist who supports a man who voted 4 times for infanticide? Listen up. Going on this vile woman’s show is classless. I think you are classier than that. Oprah is planning and plotting how to take you down. Stick it to her. Make her scramble for a replacement guest. Tell her at the last minute that you have a better offer.

119. Only chance she has is bold truth. I mean Nuclear truth.

If Oprah spins a lie. Response should be your Lieing and its expected. You know time and time againg you supported and promoted lies.

Operah has invented her own religion and perverted the Christian message.” Christians have no business and will have to answer for even listening to you”

No more mrs Nice guy. Take her scalp.

E-A

120. I have no problems of Gov. Palin being on Oprah. She is showing that she is not a coward like B.O. If she can’t handle Oprah, she can’t handle the WH. We have learned that being afraid of hard questions makes you unfit for the WH like the experiment that graces OUR house in DC right now.

Besides, Oprah is more to disrespect someone without the person present than when facing them face to face.

I give Gov. Palin plenty kudos for doing this. You go, girl!

121. Patrick, try using “<" and see if that works.

122. Palin haters, just because you have accomplished very little in your own lives and Sarah Palin has accomplished considerably more . . .

Wishful thinking or esp?

123. Whether you hate or love Palin, this will be a good test. It will give us insight into how Palin handles a difficult situation. It will either reinforce your position on Palin, or help open your eyes. Either way, Palin needs to do this.

Like another poster said, if Palin can’t handle Oprah, how can she handle the WH?

I’m looking forward to hear how it goes. I will not however watch Oprah.

124. The vain Oprah will feel like a sow sitting next to Palin.
