Obama Whined About FOX News to Leftie Reporters at Private Meeting

Obama whined to leftie reporters about FOX News during their private meeting earlier this week.
The New York Times reported, via HotAir:
Speaking privately at the White House on Monday with a group of columnists and commentators, including Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann of MSNBC and Maureen Dowd, Frank Rich and Bob Herbert of The New York Times, President Obama himself gave vent to sentiments about the network, according to people briefed on the conversation…
Mr. Clemente suggested that the fight with Fox was part of a larger White House strategy to marginalize critics. He cited a report in Politico about a strategy session in August at which officials discussed plans to move more aggressively against opponents.
White House officials acknowledged that Fox News did come up at that meeting, although not, they said, as a central topic. A number of issues had been added to the White House’s list of grievances by then, including the network’s heavy coverage of some of the more heavily anti-administration commentary at town-hall-style meetings on health care and Mr. Beck’s remark that Mr. Obama “has a deep-seated hatred for white people.”
It’s driving him crazy that not everyone adores his disastrous policies and socialist plans.

No one, not a single solitary soul is claiming that “Bush-good”, “Obama-bad”.
What brought me here, to Gateway Pundit, was the search for news that I was not getting from, MSNBC,CNN, etc. I was searching for the truth….How can one make an informed conclusion, if they don’t have the facts to begin with?
Fox news was the only media outlet on TV that would tell the whple story about Obama. After Hilary dropped out of the race, the other news networks dropped their scrutiny of Obama.
Do you think we enjoy having a president who is untrustworthy?
Do you think we derive some satisfaction from watching our country being destroyed from within?
I don’t know about you, but it bothers me that I have no idea of the president of the Unitedd States has allegiance to this country!!
Bush made all sorts of mistakes. But I never once questioned his love for this nation, or even God.
You seem to be very nice, and intelligent. I don’t understand how you can gloss over what the currnet administration is doing, by bringing up the past.
God is looking for Truth-bearers right now. Those who will open their mouths and speak the TRUTH, no matter what the cost.

So as one of those who USED to swing my vote, I think this blog is spot on. Because of the posters here, their knowledge, information, experiences (and wit:-), I was inspired to dig deeper on my own, to search things out for myself, as it pertains to politics.
The rabid left is just that. Rabid.
Besides all of that, God is bigger than “tone”. Think John the Baptist, think Elisha, think Nathan when he outed David out. What aout Jesus’ tone in the temple when he dealt with the money changers?

And I agree with the heart of your statement here. No one is above the law/constitution.
Having said that, many here probably do have critical things to say about previous administrations, but none of them are in office now. It is a diversion tactic for those on the left to still be using Bush as an object of scorn instead of addressing what policies are being made now with the current WH and congress.
If those stuck on “It’s Bushes fault” would be honest they would have to be more objective with what is happening now.
Many conservative Republicans and ex-Republicans know there are problems with the party,… the GOP has wandered from their principles.

I support what Bush did in Iraq because he made the decision after 9/11 to fight a pro-active war. One Way,
1) Obama has never called himself the Messiah, and his supporters, many of whom sadly are cynical scoffers, have never spoken of him in such religious terms. You guys have mocked him as the Messiah, that’s all. He has never presented himself in those terms, and Michelle (remember that they’re very close) regulary mocks him for how he’s lionized).
Personally, while I don’t want to presume to know his relationship with God any more than I want to presume to know that of his critics, he strikes me as someone more impressed with the Christian ideals of charity and equal worth before God than someone who has opened himself to God as a person. But again, this is just my own speculation.
2) I agree that, at least from what I’ve seen of Wright, the cross is not at the heart of his theology, and as such he misunderstands the gospel. But I believe love is of God, and I believe that a love for social justice, which is a love for people, is God-given. I moved out of fundamentalism a long time ago. When we get to heaven we’re going to see a lot of people we never recognized as loving God as they knew how, as walking in the little light they had. We all sin, and as such are blinded to one degree or another by our sin. We all fall off the horse, whether to the left or to the right.
