Obama Praises Grayson After He Calls Female Official a "Whore"

Let’s see… He said the Republican’s health plan was to “die quickly.” When asked about Dick Cheney he said, “I have trouble listening to what he says sometimes because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he’s talking.” He said this about the GOP, “They probably wish that there was a Nobel Prize for fear, a Nobel prize for hatred, a Nobel prize for racism.” He compared the GOP health care plan to the Holocaust and 9-11.
And, of course, he’s calling female officials “whores.”
But, that didn’t stop Barack Obama from praising Congressman Grayson last night at a Florida fundraiser.
The Politico reported:
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) is drawing criticism from his congressional colleagues, but President Obama offered him some warm words at a Miami fundraiser for the Democratic congressional campaign committees last night.
Obama, in introducing the members of Congress in attendance, called Grayson – along with Florida Reps. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Kendrick Meek – as “outstanding members of Congress.”
Obama may regret his praise of Grayson, who is now drawing fire from members in both parties for referring to Linda Robertson, the adviser to Obama’s Fed Chief Ben Bernanke as a “K Street whore” in a radio interview last month. And he’s received national attention for equating GOP opposition to the Democrats’ health care plan to wanting sick seniors to “die quickly.”

Conservatives should really start hitting hard on the ugly undercurrent of mysogeny often exhibited by many on the left, INCLUDING Obama. Obama, after all, twice on the campaign trail last year referred to female reporters as “sweety”, incidents which were swept under the rug by his adoring media lapdogs. Imagine what would have happened if McCain or any other Republican had done this.

I have to admit, I was critical of GWB for not pushing back on his more vocal and irresponsible critics. I thought he was too genteel in how he handled his own PR, too willing to let smears go unanswered. (And that’s how they treated a big-government Republican — imagine if he’d been a conservative activist!)
Anyway, now that I see how tawdry it looks for a POTUS and his minions to enter the mud-fight, I think GWB had it exactly right. Not that his silence was effective, just that it was least destructive of all options.
Dem strategy is to scorch the earth and then blame someone else for the smoke. What they do is not leadership; they reward (and praise) divisiveness.

I can’t stand this moron, this disgusting pos, but I think he was describing Washington lobbyists in general as whores, not this one particular woman as an actual prostitute. I would have to agree with Grayson on this one point. K St. lobbyists ARE political whores. Just as the majority of the msm ARE presstitutes.
