Obama: Dodd Is One of My Favorite Senators (Video)

Hundreds of tea party protesters greeted Barack Obama yesterday at his Connecticut fund-raiser with sweetheart Chris Dodd.
Obama helped Dodd raise around $1 million at the event.
The astroturfed protesters supporting Barack Obama also rallied outside the event.
The Campaign Spot reported that President Obama has now attended seven fundraisers since Gen. Stanley McChrystal submitted his request for additional troops in Afghanistan. Boy, it’s a shame Gen. McChrystal isn’t an unpopular incumbent Democrat; if he were, Obama might be more eager to help him out.
Barack Obama’s $787 billion stimulus bill “created or saved” 20 jobs in Connecticut this year.

Those videos are no longer shocking to me. Why should they read anything when they have insulated themselves from ever being removed from office? The N.D. senator said he has been doing this for 20 years! He should be ashamed-so should North Dakota. Mike Rogers made some good points-he is from Michigan. We have a saying in Michigan (Gov. Granholm is the inspiration) that if the Government was a car with a flat tire, Gov. Granholm would fix the problem by making the other 3 tires flat also.

While I hope Dodd is defeated, I think it would be a huge mistake to support Mrs. McMahon. The WWE is not family friendly. There has to be someone better than Mrs. McMahon to beat Dodd.
“Family friendly”? As the Democrats loot the treasury with both hands, stuff cash into the pockets of their supporters, diminish our national security, and prepare legislation that will lower our standard of living, you’re telling us that we need to worry about women in skimpy outfits?

Sure, if the core ideals of our country include getting preferential treatment and favorable mortgage loans based on one’s standing as a U.S. Senator and not that of a regular peon, then Barry is correct.
As he is, if the core ideals of our country include taking millions in campaign contributions from a financial sector your supposedly provided oversight on.
I’m not sure who is more corrupt, Obama or Dodd, but it’s fitting Barry would come out and stump for him.

Check the videos I linked to in my previous post. Here is one on youtube from the WWE’s ECW Divas match. And Mrs. McMahon claims that their shows are PG, that’s a good one. I don’t know how she can justify that claim.
My main point is that I think the GOP ought to be able to find a better candidate than her. Imagine the negative attack ads that could be run by just showing clips from WWE matches. How could she stand against violence against women or the exploitation of sex when the WWE is filled with it. I use to watch it, even went to some live shows. Now that I have a daughter I do not want her seeing those images.
As to the McCain thing. So he could have referenced Hitler in a similar manner and that would have been ok?

No, and I tried to differentiate between the two. The Obama Administration seems filled with Existential Marxists. McCain tried to praise Mao in a bizarrely off the cuff way. McCain is at fault for trying to say he saw in Mao some sort of motivation to draw strength from or something along those lines. I do not think he should get a pass for that.
