How many commies have invaded the White House?
…We may never know.

But here’s the latest Obama Czar praising mass-murderer Mao Tse-Tung in a speech:

Naked Emporer News
Ron Bloom is the Manufacturing Czar. In the video he admits, “We kind of agree with Mao that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.”
Doesn’t that make you feel secure?

So who is Ron Bloom?
Jammie Wearing Fool wrote this about the former SEIU negotiator:

The name Ron Bloom is one that we need to start paying attention to. He has a long history of being the negotiating face of unions in a suit. He is a Harvard Business School graduate who has worked for the unions beginning with SEIU for decades. The most recent union he represented was the United Steel Workers (USW) before becoming a part of the automotive team that Obama put together. You know the one that had the head Steven Rattner having to resign over some questions about his personal finances mixed in with a little fraudulent money gifts.Rattner was replaced by Ron Bloom, and voila the United Auto Workers (UAW), got a sweetheart deal backed up by the power of the federal government to try and stave off bankruptcy.

Barack Obama may not know anything about economics but he is an expert on radicalism.
We know that.

  1. Hey I get the part about the power coming from the barrel of a gun … Good thing Americans are armed, unlike Venezuelans or Kenyans.

There is no doubt left who Oba-Mao and his thugs are.

  2. and to think mao fan mike klonsky found himself under obama’s bus………..
    OT from black and right……

  3. WOW. Breathtaking. Student radicals from 1968 have taken over the White House.

  4. You know, either this individual is the blabber-mouth little brother of Joe Biden or he’s feeling strangely arrogant to be speaking so openly. Where’s the rest of the speech? Why would any nascent rogue administration feel free to operate so openly.

  5. I keep trying to post, but they never appear…this isnt working for me this new site Jim…I keep typing and then for nothing, my posts do not come up when I submit…this one is just a test…and I see the “login” at the top, but where do I register to login?
sigh…if this post doesnt submit, then this will be my last post here at Gateway…getting frustrated with this. Maybe its a sign to go back to EVW forum…been away from there for a long time now. :)

  6. OHHHHH! NOW it works! Cripes! Good grief…I typed and typed and typed on other threads and it didnt and wasted so much time…NOW it works.
    ?

  7. Isn’t it nice to know up front how the Obama administration feels about duck hunting? Did you ever think you would be the duck they were talking about?

  8. OK so now that its is working… :)
I am not surprised with this communist leader worship going on in the Americna government today. The people who elected them dont even mince words anymore. They WANT the United States to become communist/socialist. They even say things like “the movement” and such. I take it its the same ‘monvment’ that has taken over Venezuela with Socialist King Chavez

Its public now…what they want. And it seems they are prepared to do anything to get it…like shut down all media that exposes their lies and bad policies.
    Here we go!

  9. ehh…I just spent time typing again…and it didnt post…will this???

  10. Well…last try…and I am tired so Ill make it short.
The people who put these communist/socialists in the American government deserve to live in a Mao-like country. This is what they want and the way the country is going, exactly what they will get.

I hope not…its not the country I love or want to live in, but they have the power now…Obama Rahm Axlerod and Dunn. It seems like its THEIR country, not mine.
What a sorry group of people they are.

  11. The enemies of God and man are not in Afghanistan or Iraq.

  12. Now wait a minute, I didn’t hear a single word of praise for Mao in that statment. He merely quoted Mao. Come on, guys, dont go overboard, you make conservatives look stupid.

  13. Couldn’t these children of the 60s look to Western civilization for there inspiration?

Instead of quoting Mao, couldn’t this clown have cited Hobbes, who in essence said the same thing:
“covenants struck without the sword are but words”.

The bottom line, if these people are looking to the east for quotes, they are looking east for their political and economic inspiration as well.

  14. Tell me again, Jimbo, who’s the drama queen?

  15. Uriel,

For some reason those 3 posts went to the spam folder. I am investigating as to why this happened, because it shouldn’t have. The posts did not contain anything that should have been filtered.

  16. Three Obama administration officials walk into a bar. 2 admire the philosophy of Mao and 1 thinks Obama GOP oppenents are A-holes.

    Three walk out.

  17. I have no trouble posting, but I am having a tough time getting used to no separate window. I liked that. I liker reading in one and posting in another.

The site looks great but it is taking some getting used to.

  18. well, to be fair, i believe power comes at the end of a gun. that is why i believe in the 2nd amendment, because then that gives that power to the people. and presumably that is why mao didn’t believe in any right to bear arms, because he wanted the monopoly on that kind of power.

Look there are a few maoisms that get cited now and then. “Let a thousand flowers bloom” is another you hear alot in academia. of course mao’s whole statement was “let a thousand flowers bloom so i can find them more easily and chop down their stems.” Likewise, Mao’s “Great leap forward line” was cut off before the part where it said, “off of a cliff.” (okay, i made both quotes up, but if you look at what actually happened over there, i am mocking what really happened). I have seen this used often by people who deeply deplored what mao did.

But in this case quoting mao was unnecessary. i am sure you do a little digging and you would find 50 good quotes about the power of gun, or something like that. so why mao? it certainly raises questions.

  19. Indeed, power does come from the barrel of a gun, but for right now, a pitchfork in Pelosi and Reid’s ass will do.

  20. Alan Keyes was right when he said Obama is a radical communist.

  21. Ref. “the medium is the message,” Administration speakers should be careful about whom they cite, how, and where. I agree that simply acknowledging Mao’s quote where, in context, it makes some sense, is not necessarily a sign of agreeing with Mao on other points… but as I saw pointed out on some other thread elsewhere (sorry, can’t recall where), you wouldn’t quote Hitler on the benefits of vegetarianism, would you?

  22. Looks like the video was Michael Moored. Perhaps he was talking about what he thought the Republicans were all about.

Where’s the original. If this turns out to be a chop job it will diminish the impact of the other video.

  23. I wonder if our “manufacturing czar” has ever worked in a machine shop? If not, what is it that makes him qualified? If he can’t sharpen a drill bit by hand, then he’s pretty much useless in that capacity.

  24. There was a dork named Bloom, Who tried to outdo Dr. Doom, His message was always black Gloom, We found another commie, make Room.

  25. We have to stop calling these people czars and start calling them what they really are: COMMISSARS. Party Secretary Obama suggests to all true-thinking patriots that it be so.

  26. “We kind of agree with Mao that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.”

It should be noted he said ‘political power’, which even makes the statement worse.

  27. Obama got into Office in a non-military coup, but don’t expect him to not fight his expulsion without the barrel of a gun.

  28. Jim thanks for exposing the Marxists.

Michelle Malkin says shining the light on these creeps is the best disinfectant.

  29. Mao is undoubtably correct. All power does flow from the barrel of a gun.

Whether you are a bastard or not comes down to who you think should have any.

  30. Experienced speakers know to be efficient. Every reference is chosen for maximum value, so that though much goes unsaid, the listener gets the ripple effect of the ideas behind those rich associations.

I, for instance, love to quote Jefferson in conversation. The sentiments he expresses may be said by others, but they don’t invoke the clear iconography he does. And the response from over-educated leftists is immediate. The battle is joined, beyond the scope of my particular reference. They know the code has been violated and I must be chastised.

Make no mistake, Ms. Dunn and Mr. Bloom are telegraphing their Pantheon.

  31. Quoting Mao, when the quote accurately describes the situation is no big deal; power usually does come from the end of a gun. It gives me no moments hesitation that ~100% of our armed forces agrees with the sentiment and many frequently express that same statement.

That said, there is a meaningful difference in the tone between quoting Mao as a man who said quotable things and praising Mao as one of your two favorite political philosophers when the other is Mother Theresa, unless you have the spoken ability to make it come across as a joke so that people realize that maybe Thomas Jefferson or someone of his ilk really is a superior quotable person of note.

I can see how Ms. Dunn in her mind intended her statement to be a joke in the contrasting of the two individuals whose life philosophies couldn’t be more different. However, her inability to put the necessary inflection (perhaps due to the verbal tics that should have kept her off the public stage as a representative of the government in almost any situation) would indicate she should spell out the joke in words, and her lack of doing that is seen by reasonable thinkers to be a reasonable indication of her thought processes.

  32. You’d best keep your guns loaded and ready as politics in the U.S. may make them necessary to retain your freedom as defined in the Constitution, assuming you are not ready to relinquish it, replacing it with the freedoms as will be defined and allowed by Socialism.

  33. “POWER TO THE PEOPLE!” If you think that this statement is just a screw up then you are wrong. This is the precursor of the administrations intent. He was speaking to the union dogs ( and we have already seen what these thugs do on the bidding of their master). Obama will not put up with this resistance to his “destiny” to become the Usurper American Mao. If the American people want freedom and democracy then we will end up fighting for. These bastards will not leave willingly.

  35. From your lips, GP, to Glenn Beck’s ears….

  36. One of the best things about the tea party movement is that it demands honesty from the politicians. Anita Dunn should be called to account for her Mao-loving mentality. I’m not sure from the Ron Bloom quote that he was agreeing with Mao as much as it was meant as an observation on the capitalist system agreeing with Mao that power comes from the barrel of a gun, if you want a friend get a dog, etc. It seems that he should be called to account for his anti free market ideas, but probably not this quote about Mao. Am I missing something?

  37. “For the fools who voted for Obama”. “I’m not saying you’re stupid, but ignorance is a luxury you can’t afford right now”.
Thanks state run media….Thanks for screwing us all..by keeping all dumbmocrats in the dark and in denial. Thanks Acorn, Thanks MSNBC, Thanks New York Times. Thanks you filthy stinking lobbyists…You’re all a bunch of friggin A________!
