This is an amazing figure.
42% of the uninsured do not approve of Obamacare.
Rasmussen reported this news today:
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters without health insurance favor passage of the health care plan proposed by President Obama and Congressional Democrats. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of 504 uninsured voters found that 35% are opposed.
Those figures include 30% who Strongly Favor the plan and 26% who are Strongly Opposed.
These results were obtained from nightly tracking surveys conducted from September 8-17, a time frame that included the President’s speech and subsequent bounce. Among all voters surveyed during this time frame, 46% favored passage of the health care plan. After the bounce wore off, support for the President’s plan fell to 43%.
Perhaps the most striking thing about the results is how much they mirror the results of those with insurance. Sixty-eight percent (68%) of uninsured Republicans oppose the plan while 88% of Democrats favor it. Those not affiliated with either party are evenly divided.
Forty-eight percent (48%) of voters without health insurance are Democrats and 24% Republican.
