A billionaire democratic donor is being investigated for fraud.
The FBI was also investigating R. Allen Stanford for laundering drug money for Mexico’s notorious Gulf Cartel.

According to Politico, Texas financier R. Allen Stanford, accused of defrauding investors of as much as $8 billion, gave more than 75% of his $2.2 million in political contributions to Democrats.
New York financier Bernard Madoff, accused of defrauding investors of over $50 billion, gave more than 85% of his political contributions to the Democrats.

The FBI is also investigating whether Stanford was involved in laundering drug money for Mexico’s notorious Gulf Cartel. A video posted on the firm’s web-site shows Stanford, now sought by U.S. Marshals, being hugged by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and praised by former President Bill Clinton.
