Zimbabwean Opposition Claims Victory! …Ruling Party Loses Parliament
Mugabe’s ruling party lost its majority in Parliament according to the official Zimbabwe Election Commission!
–Mr Mugabe’s Zanu-PF party has taken 94 of the 207 contested seats, while opposition parties have won 105. One seat has gone to an independent –BBC.
Last year the opposition was beaten bloody by Mugabe thugs.
Today Morgan Tsvangirai and the MDC claimed victory over President Robert Mugabe.

The main opposition MDC in Zimbabwe has released its own results from the presidential election, claiming they prove it won.
Party Secretary General Tendai Biti told a news conference that MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai had won 50.3%, so avoiding a run-off.
President Robert Mugabe won 43.8% according to the MDC.
Results have yet to be officially declared but the state-run Herald newspaper has predicted a run-off.
A governement spokesman said reports that the opposition had won were “wishful thinking.”
All Africa is reporting that Robert Mugabe is weighing his options:
Mugabe, who has not commented on the elections or been seen in public since voting on Saturday, had blocked the ZEC from releasing the results because he lost, sources said.
The state-controlled newspaper says that there will be a runoff election.
