Benazir Bhutto & Al Gore Will Join at Summit

Benazir Bhutto will join Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore at an all star summit in London on global warming.
The Daily Times reported:

LAHORE: Former US vice president Al Gore and former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto will join Hollywood stars for a summit to tackle climate change, global poverty and healthcare issues today, Press Association National Newswire reported.

The second annual Fortune Forum Summit will take place at London’s Royal Courts of Justice.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Gore will be the keynote speaker.

Campaigning musicians Sir Bob Geldof and Damien Rice will attend, as well as Daryl Hannah, Jerry Hall, Bianca Jagger, Gillian Anderson, Lily Cole, Joseph Fiennes, Christian Slater and Sir David Frost and “surprise” guests.

Geldof is well known for his work on the Live 8 campaign while Rice has raised awareness of humanitarian issues including the detention of Burma opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Fortune Forum gathers world leaders, influential entrepreneurs, philanthropists and celebrity activists to compliment the work of major charities. The event marks the global launch of the International Clean Energy (ICE) Circle, looking at clean energy and supporting policy initiatives to address the developed and developing world. Its founder, philanthropist Renu Mehta, said, “The people who will be most affected by climate change are the poor.
