Barak Obama and the Audacity of Wet Noodle Politics

Barak Obama says the Iranian regime “acts irresponsibly” when it gives bombs to insurgents to blow up US soldiers!
That’s right… Blowing up US soldiers is “acting irresponsibly!”

How did Barak Obama ever make it this far?
This interview with The New York Times should horrify anyone with an ounce of common sense and decency.
The New York Times reported:

CHICAGO, Oct. 31 — Senator Barack Obama said he would “engage in aggressive personal diplomacy” with Iran if elected president, and would offer economic inducements and a possible promise not to seek “regime change” if Iran stopped meddling in Iraq and cooperated on terrorism and nuclear issues

In an hourlong interview on Wednesday, Mr. Obama made clear that forging a new relationship with Iran would be a major element of what he pledged would be a broad effort to stabilize Iraq as he executed a speedy timetable for the withdrawal of American combat troops.

Mr. Obama said that Iran had been “acting irresponsibly” by supporting Shiite militant groups in Iraq. He also emphasized that Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons program and its support for “terrorist activities” were serious concerns.

But he asserted that Iran’s support for militant groups in Iraq reflected its anxiety over the Bush administration’s policies in the region, including talk of a possible American military strike on Iranian nuclear installations.

Making clear that he planned to talk to Iran without preconditions, Mr. Obama emphasized further that “changes in behavior” by Iran could possibly be rewarded with membership in the World Trade Organization, other economic benefits and security guarantees.

Somebody wake me– Is it still Halloween?
Is this another “Chuckie” movie?

The horror of an Obama foreign policy:
** Offer economic inducements and rewards to the world’s worst terrorist regime from “promises” of good behavior? …Why do these liberals always insist on trusting terror regimes?

** Promise not to seek regime change??? How does that fit in with the “audacity of hope”? How kind and compassionate of Barak to guarantee more stonings, public executions, trampling on women, homosexuals, students and union leaders. What a brave and compassionate stance– “Let the downtrodden suffer.”

** Barak pledged to stabilize Iraq— He obviously is not following the news lately.

** Barak says that the mullahs are “acting irresponsibly” by providing bombs to insurgents. Tell that to the families of the dead soldiers. Tell them it was just an “irresponsible” act.
Tell it to the families, Barak.

And, this is what democrats have to offer?
The horror.
