Iranian Union Leader Mansour Osanloo Tortured At Evin Prison

Iranian union leader Mansour Osanloo is currently being held at the notorious Evin Political Prison in Tehran, Iran.
He is being tortured there.
In one act, the regime cut his tongue as a warning to the activist.

His only crime was that he demanded better working conditions for thousands of transportation workers in Tehran. The workers barely make enough money to support their families. For this “crime” Osanloo has been detained and tortured at Evin Prison.

Here is a very moving campaign film released on Iranian trade union leader Mansour Osanloo:

The international labor union of transportation workers is demanding the release of Mansour Osanloo from Evin Prison in Tehran, Iran, where he is being horribly abused by the regime.

Several international protests were held this month demanding Osanloo’s release:

On Monday, October 8th, the Indonesian Workers Association gathered in front of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Jakarta, in support of Mansour Osanloo, the esteemed leader of the greater Tehran bus driver’s union who is currently detained at Evin prison in Tehran. The workers chanted slogans for the immediate and unconditional release of Osanloo and other labor activists imprisoned in Iran.

Thanks to Iranian human rights activist Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi for the updates on Osanloo.
