Here is the Tuesday lineup of speakers for Islamofascism Awareness Week:

** Penn State:
Rick Santorum at 7:00 PM

Rick Santorum: Rick is a former United States Senator from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Santorum is a member of the Republican Party and was the chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, the number-three job in the party leadership of the Senate. In 2005, Santorum sponsored the Iran Freedom and Support Act, which appropriated $10 million aimed at regime change in Iran. The Act passed with overwhelming support. Rick Santorum is known for his strong stance on the War on Terror. He is strong conservative who is ridiculed on the Left.

** UCLA:
Cyrus Nowrasteh 6:30 PM

Cyrus Nowrasteh: Cyrus is a Iranian-American who was born in Boulder, Colorado, and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. His “family had to flee Iran when it was taken over by Islamic fundamentalists.” is an American screenwriter and director of theatrical films, television shows, and made-for-TV movies. He is best known for his involvement in the controversial docudrama The Path to 9/11.

** Columbia University Panel:
Phyllis Chesler, Christina Sommers, Ibn Warraq at 8:00 PM

Phyllis Chesler: Dr. Chesler is an Emerita Professor of Psychology and Women’s Studies at City University of New York. She is an author, psychotherapist and an expert courtroom witness. She has lectured and organized political, legal, religious and human rights campaigns in the United States and in Canada, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. A popular guest on campuses and in national and international print, television, radio and online media, she has been an expert commentator on the major events of our time. She has lived in Kabul, Afghanistan, and in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. She currently resides in Manhattan. Phyllis is a columnist at Pajamas Media.

Christina Sommers: Christina is an American author who researches culture, adolescents, and morality in American society. Her best known books are Who Stole Feminism?: How Women Have Betrayed Women and The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men. A former university philosophy professor in Ethics at Clark University in Worcester, MA, she is a resident scholar at an organization called the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education. She speaks on college campuses through the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute’s campus lecture program.

Ibn Warraq: Ibn is a bestselling secularist author, ex-Muslim intellectual, scholar and founder of the Institute for the Secularisation of Islamic Society and a senior research fellow at the Center for Inquiry specializing in Koranic criticism. Warraq gathered world notice through his controversial historiographies of the early centuries of the Islamic timeline and has published works which tend to challenge traditional conceptions of the period. He is the author of seven books including Why I Am Not a Muslim (1995), The Origins of the Koran (1998), Quest for the Historical Muhammad (2000) and Leaving Islam: Apostates Speak Out (2003). The penname Ibn Warraq (Arabic: ابن وراق, most literally “son of a papermaker”) is used due to his concerns for his personal safety and one that has been adopted by dissident authors throughout the history of Islam.
