Fars News reported the latest threats against Bahrain:

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Bahrainis should know that throwing stone at a civilized country like Iran would backfire and pose a danger to their own glassy house, a prominent Iranian lawmaker said after recent insults to Iran by certain Bahraini officials.

Speaking to FNA here on Sunday, member of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hamid Reza Haji Baba’ee pointed to the radical stances adopted by a group of Bahraini officials and press against Iranian officials after the release of an article in the Iranian daily newspaper Keyhan, and said, “Press and media are alive in Iran and they can state their views very freely and frankly.”

He said that Bahraini officials should refrain from insulting Iran and strive to reciprocate such points and ideas with expert views.

The MP further pointed out that such accusations are made at a time when the Untied States is increasing its pressures on Iran, including Washington’s provocations and supports for the baseless allegations made by certain regional countries about the three Iranian Persian Gulf islands.

He called on the Persian Gulf littoral states to take a lesson from the past and refrain from taking interventionist or negative stances on Iran’s territorial integrity and geographical issues, reminding that raising such allegations would lead to the discussion of certain historical facts which would not be palatable to such states.

“Bahraini officials seem to be standing on such a fragile position that they are so much disturbed and worried by the release of a specialized article,” the legislator added.

He further stressed that Iran, as a friendly and peace-loving country in the region, is making its utmost efforts to avoid sparking tension in its relations with other nations, adding, “Iran has always sought to have peaceful interaction with regional countries and this seems to be a lesson for the Persian Gulf littoral states.”

…Except, of course, the last time the mullahs tried to take over Bahrain back in 1981.

Meanwhile in the UAE…

Iran warned the UAE over the disputed islands in the Persian Gulf this weekend.
Fars News reported:

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- The triple islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa are and will remain indispensable and eternal parts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini stressed.

Speaking to reporters during his weekly press conference on Sunday, Hosseini said Tehran has corroborative documents to substantiate its claims over the three Persian Gulf islands.

He further dismissed some allegations made by certain foreign states and media about the Iranian islands, and continued, “We have frequently announced that the forged names and titles used and efforts made (by certain states and media) cannot fabricate historical realities.”
