Democrats Throw Stink Bombs for the 4th of July

This just stinks…
The current Congressional Approval Rating is at an all-time low at a wretched 14%.
The last time that Congressional approval rating was so low, was the last time democrats were the majority in Congress when it reached a low of 18%.

That didn’t take long now did it?

Here is how the democrats rank compared to other institutions:

The democratic Congress has such a low approval that it even ranks lower than the liberal newspapers and television news that support it.
AHN reported:

Just 14 percent of Americans have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress, marking an all-time low, and the lowest of any of the 16 institutions tested in this year’s Gallop’s Confidence in Institutions survey.

Ranking among such disregarded entities as HMOs, Congress is at its lowest ebb since Gallup began tracking congressional approval ratings in 1973, according to the poll released Thursday.

The previous low point for Congress was 18 percent, a dip reached at several points from 1991 to 1994.

So how do democrats handle this bad news?…
They throw stink bombs!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi threw a big stink bomb at Harry Reid and the Senate.
Senate Leader Harry Reid blamed Republicans for the failed immigration bill even though 15 democrats and a Vermont socialist voted against the bill.

With the situation in Iraq sounding hopeful, despite bogus decapigate stories, it may be difficult for Reid to get the surrender vote in August from Republicans that he was planning on.
Look for more stink bombs.
