Chirac Bids Adieu

But, he plans on remaining active…
Jacques will use his famed love of sumo-wrestling(?) and African art to launch his own Bill Clinton-style foundation to combat climate change and promote development and world peace. –Mail and Guardian
Well Halleluiah!

Adieu… Don’t let the door hit yieu.

How Carter-esque…
Jacques is preparing to launch a private foundation to promote world peace.

Jacques Chirac leaves France after 12 years with:
– Unemployment at 9.1%
– A sluggish economic growth rate of 2.1% in 2006
– An average of around 98 cars torched each night.
Smear scandals.
– And, a country where the people dislike themselves even more than the Americans dislike them.

Oh… And take out the garbage when you leave.

Adieu.
